FPL GW32 Scout Picks – Goalkeeper

FPL GW32 Scout Picks - Goalkeeper

In the last six games, Raya has picked up five clean sheets and has conceded only one goal from an xGC of just 2.08 across six games, the least amongst all teams during the period.

Arsenal have a 40% odds of a clean sheet against Brighton which is also the third highest for GW32. Brighton meanwhile have scored only 3 goals in their last 5 games.

FPL GW32 Scout Picks – Defenders

FPL GW32 Scout Picks - Defenders

Gabriel doubles up with Raya in a defensive double-up. The Gunners are simply outstanding defensively so far this season having conceded only 24 goals from an xGC of 21.09 both are the lowest in the league.

FPL GW32 Differential Picks- Branthwaite

Branthwaite makes it to the scout picks this week, Everton are at home against Burnley who are struggling for goals this season. Everton are a decent defensive side this season and will also double in DGW34(Both games at home in DGW34 too)

Everton- Defense Record at Home this season

  • Big Chances Conceded- 6th Least
  • Non-Penalty xGC- 5th least
  • xGC- 5th least
  • Goals Conceded- 6th least

The entry point in GW32 vs Burnley(H) looks good as Burnley are struggling for goals this season and are one of the worst attacking sides in the league.

Burnley Attack Rank this season(Per 90 Stats):

  • xG- 19th
  • Big Chances- 20th
  • Goals Scored- 19th

The fixtures till the end of the season look good for Branthwaite. He can be a good budget enabler in your team especially if you don’t have Free Hit to navigate GW34 as he has a Home Double Gameweek with good fixtures before and after it.

Ait Nouri scored a goal in GW31 vs Burnley and it was long coming, the Wolves defender has 6 Big chance involvements from the last 7 matches- 5 Big Chances and 2 Big Chances created.

Ait Nouri- Stats since GW24(Rank among Defenders):

  • Matches- 7
  • Shots- 8(3rd)
  • xG- 1.58(2nd)
  • Big Chances- 5(1st)
  • xGI- 2.2(2nd)
  • Big Chances created- 2(Joint 5th)

Ait Nouri is Top for Big Chances among Defenders since GW24 and is also 2nd for Expected Goal Involvements among DEFs during this time.

Wolves Manager on Ait-Nouri: “He’s very talented. Since we’ve moved him further forward he’s continued to do well. He’ll be key for us tomorrow.”

Hwang Hee Chan is just coming back from a hamstring injury so he’s unlikely to start right away which means Ait Nouri is expected to play an advanced role once again vs West Ham in GW32.

FPL GW32 Scout Picks – Midfielders

Saka entirely missed out against Luton in the midweek game, but it is expected that he’ll be back in the starting 11 against Brighton. He’s still the second-highest-scoring midfielder in FPL with 181 pts(13 goals and 10 assists) and will play a crucial role in the title run-in.

Asked if there is any concern about Bukayo burning out towards the end of the season, Mikel added: “I’m super positive, I think he’s going to fly and be so decisive.

“Because he’s so strong, how much he wants it when you talk to him and how excited he is about what is coming, he wants to be there. He’s getting better and better and it’s normal to have little niggles. You have kicks and he’s gone through a lot of that in the last two or three years and look at the way he’s performing.”

Son is set to face Nottingham Forest at home in the upcoming fixture. Forest has only managed to keep two clean sheets since Gameweek 9, with only Sheffield recording fewer clean sheets in that time frame.

Furthermore, with Richarlison ruled out for Gameweek 32, Son is guaranteed a forward role which makes him a great option this week.

FPL Gameweek 32 Transfer Tips: Two Players to HOLD ~ Son Heung-min (£10.1m) – MID, Spurs – 35.6% TSB

Ange Postecoglou: “Richarlison will miss the game against Nottingham Forest with a niggle in his knee”.

Salah up against Manchester United is Top Midfield pick for GW32. In fact, United are one of the favourite teams for Salah with 10 goals, and 4 assists from 12 games vs Manchester United.

Manchester United’s recent defensive form has been poor, to say the least as they have conceded 2.17 xG/90 over the last 9 games which is the most among all the teams during this time. Salah has all the stats in his favor as he also the Tops our highly successful FPL GW32 Captaincy Metrics and takes up the armband in our GW32 Scout team.

Matchup alert:

28, 31, 23, 27, 17, 22, 23, 16, 16, 8, 10, 12, 34, 10, 13, 22, 24- these are the Shots conceded by Manchester United every game since November end in PL averaging more than 18.5 Shots conceded/game- Highest in the league. Even Sheffield United, Burnley & Luton have conceded less Shots/game during this time. On the other hand, Salah has taken 15 shots from the last 2 matches with Palmer(18) only taking more shots in the league. All this points to a massive Salah haul in GW32.

Cole Palmer has become a no-brainer pick these days considering the form he is in. He is still fresh from his incredible hattrick vs Man United in midweek. Palmer has 25 goal involvements(16 goals, 9 assists) from 22 matches since he became a starter for Chelsea in GW7.

Sheffield United have conceded 80 goals in the Premier League this season. The next highest are Burnley at a distant 66 goals conceded. The fixture against Sheffield United also makes him an excellent captaincy candidate this week!

FPL GW32 Scout Picks – Forwards

Haaland got his full rest in the 4-1 win vs Aston Villa. So he is expected to be in the starting lineup in the game vs Crystal Palace. Haaland has been slightly underperforming to his lofty standards with just 4 goals, 2 assists, and 43 points from his last 8 matches. But even during this run(since GW23), Haaland is comfortably Top in the league for xG and Big Chances.

With Palace missing Guehi and Richards, they are likely to have Ward-Andersen-Lerma in a make-shift back 3 with 2 wingbacks(Munoz and Mitchell). This should also work in favour of Haaland who will be looking to get in the scoresheet ahead of an important UCL game vs Real Madrid.

Solanke joins the forward line with a tempting fixture vs Luton Town(A). Solanke has been a consistent performer this season with 16 goals- Only Haaland(18) has more Premier League goals this season. Since GW23, Solanke has an xG of 5.77 from 9 matches with only Haaland having a better xG during this time.

Luton Town have the worst xGC and have conceded the most Big Chances in the league by some margin. They are also hampered by injuries to key players like Bell, Lokonga, Ogbene, Andersen, Nakamba, Lockeyer, Adebayo and so on.

Muniz rounds up the GW32 Scout selection as he is in the form of his life- 8 goals and an assist from 9 games since he became a starter for Fulham. At just 4.7 million that’s an amazing value-for-money pick.

Muniz Stats since GW23(Rank):

  • Shots- 37 (1st)
  • Shots inside the Box- 39 (1st)
  • Big Chances- 7 (Joint 5th)
  • Goals- 8(2nd)
  • Bonus Points- 12(Joint 2nd)
  • FPL Points- 65(3rd)

He did blank in GW31, but he is up against an injury-hit Newcastle defense who are without Pope, Botman, Lascelles, Trippier, and Livramento. Their defensive form has been poor for a few months to say the least as they have conceded 2.4 xG/game since GW15. So Muniz will surely fancy his chances.

Newcastle Defense Stats since GW15:

  • xGC- 20th
  • Big Chances conceded- 19th
  • Goals Conceded- 19th
