FPL have started releasing player prices for the 2023/24 FPL Season and in this FPL price reveals blog let’s look at the player prices announced so far and if their pricing is justified or not.

Thoughts on Arsenal players FPL prices
Odegaard is priced at 8.5 million which is a huge increase rightfully after a tremendous season. The Arsenal Captain got 15 goals, and 8 assists last season. Saka is also priced at 8.5 Million and Jesus comes in at 8.0 Million. Zinchenko offers value at 5.0 Million and Havertz is classified as a Midfielder this time!
Overall lot of value options at Arsenal to consider once again from an FPL perspective!
Manchester United

- Bruno Fernandes £8.5
- Rashford- 9.0
- Shaw- 5.5
- Dalot- 5.0
- Sancho- 7.0

- Bruno Fernandes at 8.5 million is an absolute steal. Bruno was Top for Big Chances created(32), Key Passes(119) in the entire league last season. With Bruno on penalties as well and also a minutes monster, Fernandes should be on most of the FPL Manager’s teams in GW1.
- Rashford is priced 0.5 more than Rashford giving managers a decision to make. Rashford did have a sensational season getting 17 goals, 7 assists and 205 points last season. This has seen his price increase from 6.5 to 9.0 million.
Manchester City

- Erling Haaland- £14.0
- Grealish – 7.5 Million
- Stones – 5.5 Million
- Bernardo Silva – 6.5 Million

Haaland being priced at 14.0 million makes the game a bit interesting. This means that it is difficult to have 3 Premiums(Kane, Haaland, Salah) and TAA in your team. Even though Haaland is priced at £14.0, it is really difficult to ignore him due to the insane numbers from last season- 36 goals, 9 assists from 35 games. City’s opening run of fixtures makes Haaland an almost must-own asset.

Liverpool
Liverpool Players 2023/24 FPL prices
- Salah- 12.5
- Nunez- 7.5
- Alexander Arnold- 8.0
- Robertson- 6.5
- Mac Allister- 6.0
- Gakpo- FWD- 7.5

Salah after scoring 200+ points for the 6th consecutive season comes in at an expected price of 12.5 million. The surprise comes in the form of TAA who is priced at 8.0 million- The first time we can see this figure for a defender since Baines in 2011/12. TAA looked really good in the inverted full-back position playing like a midfielder getting 7 assists, and 1 goal from the last 10 games of the season. If he can continue to play in that position, TAA is well worth the money with set pieces in his armory as well.
Nunez had a disappointing last season, but if he can play up to his potential he could well be a bargain pick at 7.5 million.
Tottenham

- Son Heung-Min: 9.0
- Kane – 12.5 Million
- Richarlison – 7.0 Million Mid
- Kulusevski – 7.0 Million Mid

Thoughts on Spurs players FPL prices
Son after a mediocre last season has dropped from 12.0 million to just 9.0 million. With a new and more attacking manager in Ange Postecoglou, if Son can revive some of his old form we could be in for a treat! Wait and Watch for Kane’s price. He should be 12.5-13.0 million after a sensational last season that saw him fetch 263 points- Only 9 points behind Haaland.
Newcastle United

- Trippier- 6.5
- Isak- 7.5
- Bruno Guimares- 6.0
- Joelinton- 6.0
- Botman- 4.5
- Pope- 5.5

- Trippier as expected comes in as a Premium Defender at 6.5 million after finishing as Highest scoring Defender with 198 points last season. Being priced 1 million more than James, Chilwell slightly puts off the Trippier train.
- Newcastle attackers could be a wait-and-watch due to the slightly tricky run of fixtures to start the season and involvement in the Champions League.
- Botman should be one of the best budget picks in the game. Newcastle conceded the least goals(33) in the league last season. A starting defender at just 4.5 million is an absolute steal!
Brighton

- Mitoma- 6.5
- Estupinan- 5.0
- March- 6.5
- Grob- 6.5
- Welbeck- 6.0
- Joao Pedro- FWD- 5.5

- Mitoma comes in with a budget price of £6.5 million and could be a good pick due to the good initial fixture run for Brighton. Ferguson, Joao Pedro, Enciso could all be the ones to watch out for.
- Estupinan is a surprise at the 5.0 million bracket. 1 goal, 7 assists, 10 clean sheets saw him fetch 128 points last season. He is good option in the 5.0 million bracket.
- Budget Brighton Mids- March, Gross have got hikes to the £6.5 million bracket deservedly.
Aston Villa

- Watkins- 8.0
- Buendia- 6.0
- Martinez- 5.0
- Ramsey- 6.0
- Alex Moreno- 5.0
- Mings- 4.5

Watkins comes in as a mid-priced striker at 8.0 million after being involved in 23 goals(15 goals, 8 assists) last season. Mings(4.5) could be a great option as they do rotate well with West Ham defenders till GW14.

Chelsea

- Nkunku- FWD- 7.5
- Sterling- 7.0
- Mudryk- 6.5
- James- 5.5
- Chilwell- 5.5
- Jackson- 7.0

- As seen in the above image, Chelsea did have a dismal season and most of the players have left the team in a major re-shuffle. Nkunku who got 22 goal contributions(16 goals, 6 assists) from 25 games for Leipzig last season is classified as a Forward at 7.5 million. He can be an option in our teams soon if he starts clicking. If he looks good in the first few games, Nkunku can be an excellent option from GW3 where Chelsea have a great run of fixtures- West Ham, Luton Town, Forest, Bournemouth, Villa, Fulham, Burnley.
- James and Chilwell as we know are explosive FPL assets when they are fit. Both of them placed at 5.5 million(1.0 less than Trippier, 2.5 less than TAA) opens up things. With no European football and playing under Pochettino, one of them could walk straight into your GW1 teams.
- After a disappointing season for attackers- Sterling(7.0) and Mudryk(6.5) have had drops. But it remains to seen what Chelsea do further in the transfer market to have a clear picture on their starting 11.
Fulham

- Leno- 4.5
- Mitrovic- 7.5
- Pereira- 5.5
- Ream- 4.5
- Tete- 4.5
- Reed- 5.0

- Leno was an under-rated FPL asset last season ranking 2nd among Goal Keepers for Saves last season. Defensively, Fulham rotate well with Burnley and Leno-Muric might be the combination to go with if you are looking at two £4.5 million Goalkeepers. In fact, you will have zero games against Last Season Top 6 sides till GW18 if you rotate them correctly.
- Pereira(5.5) and Mitrovic(7.5) have got price rises rightfully. They could be still be good budget options if they are able to replicate last season’s performances.

Brentford

- Schade – MID – 5.5 M
- Wissa – FWD – 6.0 M

Toney’s ban and Raya’s departure means that the onus will be on Mbuemo to deliver the FPL goods from Brentford. The good thing is that Mbuemo is listed as a midfielder in the game. With Toney not there, Mbuemo will be taking up little more advanced positions than usual almost playing like a OOP Forward. In the 5 games Toney missed last season, Mbuemo got 5 goals and 2 assists!
Ben Mee comes in at 5.0 Million and he was the highest-scoring Bees defender last season. Henry is a steal at 4.5 Million. Schalde also has the potential to be a good asset and is a one to watch out for during pre-season!
Crystal Palace

- Mitchell- 4.5
- Edouard- 5.5
- Guehi- 4.5

- Eze did finish last season on a high. He looked so good under Roy Hodson. In fact, Only Salah(85) got more FPL points than Eze(67) among FPL Midfielders from GW29 till the end of the season. This has pushed the price of Eze to 6.5 which is still a good price point for a in-form talisman.
West Ham

- Bowen- 7.0
- Benrahma- 6.0
- Antonio- 6.0
- Aguerd- 4.5
- Fabianski- 4.5

- For a Talisman like Jarod Bowen, 7.0 million is an interesting price point. If West Ham find some form in the league, Bowen could be a good differential. Bowen got 6 goals, 9 assists and 145 points last season being priced as a 8.0 million asset.
- Antonio(6.0), Benrahma(6.0) could well be good budget picks at some point of the season if they pick up form- Wait and Watch.
Bournemouth

- Kluivert- MID- 5.0
- Solanke- 6.5
- Traore- 5.0
- Rothwell- 5.0
- Zabarnyi- 4.5

- New Signing Justin Kluivert has been given a kind pricing of 5.0 million. Operating on the Left wing, Kluivert got 8 goals, 2 assists from 29 games for Valencia last season. Could be a decent option for an attacking Bournemouth side. Wait and Watch!
- Solanke who was a good cheap striker last season(6 goals, 10 assists) is now priced at 6.5 million.
Everton

- Pickford- 4.5
- Mcneill- 5.5
- Tarkowski- 4.5
- Doucoure- 5.5
- Iwobi- 5.5

Everton assets were a strict avoid last season due to their inconsistency. If Dyche gets back his old defensive shape and form, Pickford/Other 4.5 million defenders can become decent FPL options to consider.
Wolves

- Sa- 5.0 Million
- Neto – 5.5 Million
- Kilman – 4.5 Million
- Dawson – 4.5 Million
- Hwang – 5.5 Million – Mid

Sa was the highest-scoring Wolves player scoring 148 points. But Wolves have lost Neves, Moutinho, Collins already in the summer window. Wolves assets are surely a wait-and-watch at the moment!
Nottingham Forest

Forest have some assets in Awoniyi, Gibbs White, and Johnson who is now classified as a 6.0 Million midfielder in the game. All three played a crucial role in Forest staying up in the PL and will once again be the main stars from an FPL perspective when it comes to Forest!
Burnley

- Connor Roberts could be a value defender at 4.5 Million, Browhill coming in at 5.0 instead of 4.5 Million is a bit of a disappointment!
- Beyer could be the 4.0 million defender enabler from Burnley. He started 30 games for Burnley in Championship last season and missed few games due to injuries.
Sheffield United

Ahmedhodzic is an attacking-minded defender coming in at 4.5 Million, he had 8 goal contributions in the championship and is one to watch out for. Ndiaye is also an excellent option for the 3rd striker spot with 25 goals + assists contributions in the Championship!

- Bell could emerge as a solid 4.0 Million defender in our FPL teams, he played regularly for Luton Town last season and is still a sure starter for Luton going into the 23/24 PL season. Bell started 43/46 games for Luton last season.
- Morris who got 26 goal contributions last season gets a 5.5 million price tag
