FPL Managers are given unlimited transfers till the GW17 deadline due to the World Cup. In this article, we will take a look at the Confirmed Double Gameweek fixtures, Injury doubts, players close to suspension. This will help you plan and get your initial drafts for GW17!

Confirmed FPL Double Gameweeks
- Five Teams- Manchester City(twice), Fulham, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal are confirmed to have Double Gameweeks from GW19- GW23
- GW19, GW20 will be back to back Double Gameweeks
- Manchester City is the only team confirmed to have 2 Double Gameweeks- GW20 vs United(A), Spurs(H) and GW23 vs Villa(H), Arsenal(A).
- Chelsea have a Double Gameweek in GW19 vs City, Fulham. They also have two good fixtures before that in GW17, GW18 vs Bournemouth and Forest making them one of the teams to target initially.

Injury Doubts for FPL GW17
Players ruled out for GW17:
- Luis Diaz(Out for 3 months)
- Gabriel Jesus(Knee operation- Ruled out at least till January)
- Justin(Ruled out of the season with ACL injury)
- Diogo Jota(Expected to return late January at the earliest)
- Richarlison (Expected to be out for 4-6 weeks)
- Isak is still not fully fit, “Not much has changed with Alex, we’re still in the same situation. We’re assessing him day by day and want to make sure when he returns he’s in the best possible condition. Howe on Isak ahead of the Carabao cup game against Bournemouth.
Players who are injury doubts for GW17
The following list provides some of the key players who are injury doubts for FPL GW17. Have an eye on the latest updates or Press Conference updates closer to FPL deadline before picking them in your teams.
- Mason Mount (Missed the friendly against Brentford due to a slight calf strain)
- Diogo Dalot (Picked up a hamstring injury in the WC Quarterfinals, currently working away from the main group after suffering a hamstring injury and the full-back will not feature in the Carabao cup game vs Burnley)
- Wesley Fofana (Suffered another injury setback after injuring himself in the friendly against Brentford played on Tuesday, 20/12/22. Further updates to come.
- Reiss Nelson picked up a muscle injury against Juventus on 17/12/22.
- Wolves: “We have a problem with Jonny and ‘Bouba’ [Traore]. The rest of the players are ready.” Julen Lopetegui ahead of the Carabao cup game against Gillingham.
- Juan Larios and Tino Livramento are back in full training but they still require some time before returning to first-team action. Nathan Jones ahead of the Carabao cup game against Lincoln City.

- Reece James played 60 minutes against Brentford in a friendly on 20/12/22 and should be available for GW17.
- Kyle Walker-Peters returned from his injury lay-off and started the Carabao cup game against Lincoln City on Tuesday, 20/12/22.
- Ben Davies is okay and started to work with us last week. He has recovered.
- Spurs: Bentancur and Davies – Rodrigo has started to work. I think that he’s going to be good for the game against Aston Villa in GW18(Bentancur is anyway suspended for GW17). Ben davies is fully ready and training already.
