All Premier League Teams Predicted GW25 Lineups

Arsenal

Talk about a comeback! Arsenal is back again at the top after a 4-2 win over Aston Villa. The Gunners were down twice in the game and two stoppage-time goals ensured Arsenal a crucial 3 points.

No injuries or suspensions during the match might mean Arteta will not make any major changes to his team going into the double Gameweek but we can expect a couple of rotations between Trossard/ Martinelli and White/Tomiyasu over the Double Gameweek as seen in previous Gameweeks. We should know more about Partey’s fitness in the coming days.

Arsenal GW25 Predicted Formation:

  • 4-3-3

Arsenal PC/Injury Updates:

Arteta spoke to the press ahead of their match against Leicester City (via arsenal.com).

On Thomas Partey:

Not a lot of changes. The question mark is on Thomas. He hasn’t trained much but it looks like he could be available, so let’s see how he trains today. Yeah, he’s a really important player for us, who we missed in the last few games. Hopefully he can be available.

On Gabriel Jesus:

He’s progressing really well. He’s doing more and more on the field and he’s not reacting [negatively], so that’s really positive. We want to have him as quickly as possible but also respect the timeframe we got from the doctor and the specialists. He’s really pushing the boundaries right now.

Aston Villa

A season that was going well seems to have taken a bit of a stumble for Aston Villa as they seem to find themselves in a hat-trick of losses.

Emery made a few changes to his side starting Coutinho and Cash who were on the sheet for Villa. No injuries or suspensions were picked up during the match which might mean minimal or no changes to the Villa side next weekend.

Bournemouth

The Cherries managed to win a crucial game away from home against Wolves at Molineux. This win means that Bournemouth now has their first win in their last 5 games and ensures that they are out of the relegation zone by one point.

Gary O’Neil had a few updates in the press conference ahead of their match against Manchester City (via @afcbournemouth).

On Tavernier:

Tavernier will be missing for the game after last weekend. He’s had some tests done and there are a few more next week.

On Brooks:

David won’t be involved at the weekend. He’s been in modified training this week, he isn’t at full throttle yet but is close.

Overall squad update:

We’ll still be without Lloyd Kelly, Lewis Cook and Illia Zabarnyi as well for this weekend.

Chelsea

It’s blues for the Blues as they were beaten by the bottom-most team in the table, Southampton at home by 1-0. Chelsea have only one win in their last 5 games and have scored only one goal in their last 4 games.

Azpilicueta suffered a head injury after receiving a boot from Mara and was subbed off on a stretcher towards the end of the game and was taken to a hospital. The Spanish defender shared an update on Twitter:

Hi everyone! Thank you all for your love and messages of support! My family and I would like to thank everyone who has been looking after me since yesterday’s incident… From the @ChelseaFC medical team, to teammates and opponents, to St Mary’s and Cleveland Hospital and all staff members and doctors: a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now, time to recover and I will see you soon on the pitch!💙”

On Aubameyang:

He is competing for a place in the squad. Good response to the situation we’ve been in. He is available for selection.

On Azpilicueta:

He’s as ok as can be when you’ve had that concussion. He won’t be ready for the weekend as we have to go through the protocols, but he’s doing well.

Overall Team Updates:

We’ve had a good week’s training, everyone is available apart from N’Golo and Christian Pulisic. They are joining the warm-ups and will be more intergrated next week.

Crystal Palace

The Eagles almost pulled off an away win over Brentford only to be held 1-1 in the end. Palace now has no wins in their last 5 league games.

No injuries and suspensions were picked up during the match which might mean Vieira will field the same starting XI in their match against Liverpool. Ward and Zaha are expected to return by the end of this week.

Everton

Everton now has two wins in their last 3 league games. A second-half screamer from Seamus Coleman ensured the Toffees three crucial points at home as they are now out of the bottom three and battle to steer clear of the relegation zone.

Everton PC/Injury Updates:

Sean Dyche spoke with the press ahead of their clash against Aston Villa (via evertonfc.com).

On Calvert-Lewin:

I think he’s building up well. He’s on the grass – he’s not with us [in full training] yet but that will come quite quickly, I think.

On Amadou Onana:

Dyche confirmed that Onana is back to full fitness after picking up a knee injury and being subbed off in the second half last weekend and that he will be available for selection this weekend.

On James Garner and Nathan Patterson:

Dyche confirmed that both Garner and Patterson are closing in on returns.

On Andros Townsend’s ACL injury:

His knee still needs a bit of care and a bit of time, with the workload on it. It’s about finding that balance but he’s going okay. We’ve just got to make sure that it’s right. He’s been through a lot but it’s settling down and it’s beginning to get that workload that he needs, obviously, to get it stronger, but he’s not there yet.

Fulham

Fulham managed only two shots on target for the entirety of their match against Brighton away from home. But the London side somehow managed to score the only goal of the game in the 88th-minute courtesy of Manor Solomon.

Mitrovic Injury Update ahead of GW25:

Mitrovic did not play in the game due to an injury. The Cottagers’ manager, Marco Silva gave an update in the post-match interview:

We assessed him during the week, with some doubt about whether to take a risk or not. The medical staff told me he was not available for the match. It looks like a minor injury. I don’t know if he will be ready for (Wolves) or just for Leeds. Let’s see. The next few days will be important for us to see if he will be available.

Leeds United

Leeds United find themselves in relegation after yet another loss this season managing not one shot on target in their 1-0 loss against Everton. That makes it no wins and just 2 points in the last 5 games for the Whites. They are now 19th in the table only one point off the bottom-placed Southampton. Leeds United next face Southampton.

Leeds United PC/Injury Updates:

Leeds United announced Javi Gracia as their new head coach and he had a lot to talk about in his first press conference ahead of the match against Southampton. Most of it was focused on the strategies, training and the confidence to back players. Although he did not talk much about the team news, he did give a brief update:

There are some players injured. I have a lot of information, you know better than me. In this moment I prefer not to say anything on injuries.” (via Leeds Live)

Leicester City

The Foxes were on the path of a rampaging Red Devils side losing 3-0 away from home thanks to a double from the in-form Marcus Rashford. Leicester face Arsenal at home in their next game.

Leicester City PC/Injury Updates:

Brendan Rogers spoke to the press against their match against Arsenal (via lcfc.com).

On James Maddison:

We’re starting to get a lot of players back. We have to see how James Maddison is though. He’s still nursing a knee issue, so we’ll have to assess that tomorrow after training.

On Tielemans and Bertrand:

[Tielemans] has trained very, very well. He’s a very good option for us. [Bertrand is] back in training with the squad. He will still be a bit off it in terms of match fitness and whatnot but he’ll be available to train.

On Jonny Evans:

We’ll see where he’s at tomorrow. He hasn’t been with the group this week. We’re hoping he can join at some point next week, but that’s as detailed as that can be at the moment.

Liverpool

Liverpool have now threaded back-to-back wins in the Premier League as they ran riot over Newcastle at St. James’ Park winning 2-0. Nunez was back on the scoresheet after quite sometime while Gakpo has managed to score 2 goals in 2 consecutive games for the Reds.

Van Dijk is back to the playing XI and almost instantly has made his presence felt. Darwin Nunez was subbed off in the second half with a shoulder injury but he’s overcome the injury and started for Liverpool against Madrid scoring the first goal in a game that started brilliantly for Liverpool but ended badly as they lost 5-2 after being 2-0 up.

Liverpool GW25 Predicted Formation:

  • 4-3-3

Liverpool GW25 Predicted Lineup:

Liverpool PC/Injury Updates:

Jurgen Klopp spoke to the press ahead of their weekend match against Crystal Palace (via liverpoolfc.com).

On Ibrahim Konate:

Ibou is near but [only] two sessions he had after a long injury.

Klopp also mentioned that he will rotate the squad for the weekend after their loss against Real Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16 match.

We are not sure if all the boys could even play again after Madrid because of some knocks here and there. We are really not 100 per cent clear so then we have to make changes and we want to make changes and we will make changes anyway.

Manchester City

With a chance to cement their place at the top of the table and having had 23 shots at goal to help with the cause, City only managed to come away with 1 point away against Nottingham Forest after a 1-1 draw. Haaland missed two chances at goal that could’ve easily helped City walk away with 3 points.

Again, no injuries or suspensions were picked up by the City players this weekend and we will have to wait on updates from Pep in the pre-match press conference.

Nottingham Forest

Forest extended their unbeaten run at home with a 1-1 draw that most definitely seemed like a win against the defending champions, Manchester City. New Zealand international, Chris Wood scored his first goal for Nottingham Forest as he equalised in the 84th minute of the game.

Southampton

The Saints managed to pull off a crucial win courtesy of a free-kick goal from James Ward-Prowse. This win ensures that Southampton are now on 18 points and are just 3 points away to get out of the relegation zone.

Southampton Injury/PC Updates:

Updates from the Ruben Selles press conference ahead of their match against Leeds United (via southamptonfc.com).

On Che Adams and Tony Livremento:

We have Ché Adams, Tino Livramento and Juan Larios out of the squad. Ché is a repeat injury.

On Mislav Orsic:

We have a concussion for Mislav Oršić from a couple of days ago, so that is going to take him out of the squad because of the medical observation following the protocols that we follow.

On Mohammed Salisu:

We have [Mohammed] Salisu back in training this week, not sure he will play but he has the option to play tomorrow. The rest of the squad is fit and ready to go.

On Juan Larios:

He has been training a couple of days this week for us and soon he will be able to compete. He will need to follow some steps because it’s a long-term injury. We need to be careful with a player like Juan. A young player, a very young talented player that is working very hard. We don’t want to rush anything in this process but hopefully very soon he will be able to play games.

Spurs

Tottenham have managed to win three out of their last 5 games posing a real fight at the top of the table for the final Champions League spot. After losing 4-1 away from home last weekend, Spurs have bounced back with a strong 2-0 win over fellow London side, West Ham at home this weekend.

Davies started as LWB ahead of Perisic and got a brilliant assist. It will be a close call between Perisic/Lenglet/Davies for the 2 LCB and LWB slots.

West Ham

West Ham finds themselves in the relegation zone after a 2-0 defeat away from home at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. This defeat means that the Hammers only have one win in their last 5 league games and are going to be facing an uphill battle to remain in the Premier League next season.

West Ham GW25 Predicted Lineup:

West Ham PC/Injury Updates:

David Moyes updates on the team news ahead of their match against Nottingham Forest (via whufc.com).

Update on team:

Kurt Zouma is back in training, Maxwel Cornet is back in training. Lucas Paqueta is doing a little bit. They’re probably the main ones who have been injured. I’ve got an idea of what I’m going to do.

On Danny Ings:

I think Danny Ings is getting fit now. He got an injury in his first game after 30 seconds. If you look at our injuries this season, it’s quite incredible really. We’ve had injuries right from the start. Getting Danny fit now is really important to us and we want Danny to show us what he can do.

Wolves

Wolves face their first defeat at home in 2023 after losing 1-0 to a traveling Bournemouth side. Wolves now have 3 wins and 2 losses in their last five games and are just 3 points clear off the relegation zone.

If Podence is fully fit, he should surely start one of the two games in the Double Gameweek.

Julen Lopetegui spoke to the press ahead of their match against Fulham (via wolves.co.uk).

On Boubacar Traore:

He [Boubacar] has worked with us, and is step by step better, but is not ready to stay in the squad list.

On Hwang Hee-chan:

I think Hwang’s in the last part of the recovery, we will see. I don’t know, one week more, two weeks more, depends on the last moment, the sensation and feeling of the players.
