FPL GW10 Scout Picks

FPL GW10 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper

FPL GW10 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper

Kepa looks to be the first-choice keeper for Chelsea at least for the time being. A Top 6 Team Goalkeeper at just 4.4 million up against a Wolves side who has scored the least goals(3) this season makes Kepa a solid choice.

FPL GW10 Scout Picks- Defenders

FPL GW10 Scout Picks- Defenders

Cancelo has a good home fixture vs Southampton and is the first name among defenders. Cancelo has 6 returns from 8 games- 4 clean sheets, 1 goal, 1 assist. He also has 7 Bonus points in this run which makes him the second-highest-scoring defender in the game with 43 points. Southampton have the fifth-worst xG in the league which means City are likely to keep a clean sheet in GW10.

Reece James is coming on back on a great UCL game where he got a goal, assist and clean sheet midweek. Despite playing just 6 games in the league, James is joint top for Big chances created(2), 2nd best for Expected Assists(1.51) among Defenders this season. Manchester United(H) in GW13 is the only Top 6 fixture Chelsea have till GW14.

Trippier has returned in 6/8 games so far this season. Newcastle have been strong defensively this season. Trippier on corners and set pieces increases his attacking potential as well as his Bonus Points potential. Trippier has taken the most corners(40) this season. Second Best in TAA at just 23 corners taken which highlights the importance of Trippier in the Newcastle side.

Zaha has this lovely run from fixtures from GW10 onwards- Leeds(H), Leicester(A), Wolves(H), Everton(A), Southampton(H), West Ham(A), Forest(A) till GW16. He is a must own for this fixture run considering the form he is in 4 goals, 33 points from 6 games. Zaha is 3rd best for xG(3.03), second best for big chances(5) among midfielders this season despite playing just 6 games while others above him have played 7 games.

Bowen is back in form with a goal and assist in GW9. He has another favourable fixture in GW10 vs Fulham who are the worst defensive side in the league- Worst for Big chances conceded(26) and xG Conceded(16.01). He is just 4.2% owned and is discussed in detail in our GW10 Differentials article.

Foden rewarded his owners with a massive 19-point haul in GW9 with a hat trick. Foden is top for shots inside the box(9) among 8.5 and under midfielders over the last 4 GWs. An 8.1 million midfielder playing for the best-attacking side in the league, has started 8/8 league games this season, averaging 6.37 FPL Points/game should be in your FPL teams soon. Also, do keep in mind that City and Arsenal blank in GW12.

Maddison is in magnificent form which was seen during the 18-point haul in GW9 vs Forest with 2 goals and an assist. In GW10, He is up against a Bournemouth side who have conceded the Most Chances from Left Flank(41) and Most crosses conceded from the Left Flank(138). Don’t be surprised if you are in for another big haul from Maddison.

Almiron is the budget pick at just 5.1 completing the midfield. In GW9, Almiron got 2 goals for a emphatic 15 point haul.

Haaland is a no-brainer considering the form he is in as he has returned in all of his 11 games(8 PL, 3 UCL) in his City career so far. He also takes up the armband as he tops almost all the attacking metrics like Expected Goals, Big chances in the league. He was rested and taken off during the at Half time(after scoring 2 goals) during the UCL game which means he is in for another start!

Harry Kane has not blanked ever since GW1 this season registering 7 goals, and 2 assists from 7 games. He has been having a great season himself but has been overshadowed due to Haaland’s brilliance.
