Players to BUY ahead of FPL GW11:

Reece James

FPL GW11 Analysis- Reece James

The Chelsea defender, has returned mammoth figures of 13 and 21 points in his last two PL starts, still only found in 13.4% of FPL Squads, more than 498203 new managers have already flocked to James ahead of game-week 11. Priced at £5.7m, Reece currently produces 9.8 points per million, hence, he is the best value player in FPL.

James has only played 369 minutes of PL football this campaign, that’s 324 minutes lesser than Alexander-Arnold scoring 4 more points. He already has the most points of any defender, his 56 points ranks 5th overall of all players. With Azpilicueta starting at RWB in the UCL midweek fixture, it almost confirms James’ start against Burnley if “Tuchel Tombola” clouds your judgement. Chelsea has kept 3 consecutive clean sheets in the PL, this transfer seems to be a no-brainer.

Emile Smith-Rowe

FPL GW11 Analysis- Smith Rowe

Priced at £5.6m, Smith-Rowe is an easy transfer in, already producing two double digit hauls for the season, he has had returns of 13 and 9 points respectively in his last two fixtures. He leads the points tally of all Arsenal players thus far.

He has had 14 goal attempts, 9 shots on target with a shot accuracy of 64.3% and a goal conversion of 21.4%. On average he has a goal attempt every 57.6 minutes and creates chances for his team-mates every 54 minutes. He faces WAT (H), LIV (A) and NEW (H) in the next three, even if one decides to bench Smith-Rowe against Liverpool, it might be worthwhile bringing in the Arsenal #10 to attack the home fixtures against Watford and Newcastle.

Players to HOLD ahead of FPL GW11:

Jamie Vardy

FPL GW11 Analysis- Jamie Vardy

Showing patience in FPL can pay dividends as it did last game-week with Ronaldo returning 12 points after a barren run of 4 games. Jamie Vardy is the most sold non-flagged forward ahead of game-week 11, the trigger being his lack of returns in the last two games.

FPL managers should be reminded that Vardy is FPL’s 3rd highest scoring player thus far. Vardy has scored 7 goals at a rate of 120.9 minutes per goal, he has had 24 goal attempts and averages 35.3 minutes per attempt. He faces a Leeds United team that has kept an embarrassing 1 clean sheet in this campaign, expect the Vardy Party to be back on track.

Mason Mount

FPL GW11 Analysis- Mason Mount

Over 500,000 managers transferred in Mount for game-week 10, only to face the disappointing news that he was ill. So far, 106891 (3rd overall) managers have transferred him out ahead of game-week 11. Having been given the week off to rest and recover and not featuring in the UCL, Mount could very well feature against Burnley if he shakes off the illness. Thomas Tuchel confirmed it wasn’t COVID-19 in his press conference and he was simply unwell.

It might be wise to hold on to Mason Mount as he is one of Chelsea’s more consistent midfielders and a good long-term option, remember “FPL isn’t a sprint but a marathon.” These situations are why we have a bench to rely on!

Players to SELL ahead of FPL GW11:

Ismaila Sarr

FPL GW11 Analysis- Sarr

Sarr hasn’t returned a single goal or assist in the last 4 fixtures, scoring a scanty 7 points. Already 96460 are parting ways with Sarr and it’s understandable. Watford face an Arsenal team that hasn’t been beaten in 7 fixtures.

Although Sarr leads the points tally amongst Watford players, I can’t see him getting any joy against the in-form Gunners. The fixture run below shows his next 5 matches, this does help his cause either, it is definitely time to sell.

Marcos Alonso

FPL GW11 Analysis- Alonso

The most sold player ahead of game-week 11, still found in 12.2% of FPL Squads. Alonso served us well in the first 6 fixtures, returning 39 points. Game-week 6 however, was the last game he featured in the PL, his replacement Ben Chilwell returned 8, 15, 12, 8 respectively after his omission.

Alonso started the midweek UCL fixture against Atalanta, resulting in a well-rested Chilwell to face Burnley at the Bridge. Priced at £5.6m, for a non-playing defender, those funds can be re-directed to aid in transferring in the prolific Ben Chilwell or Reece James.
