All Premier League Teams Predicted GW29 Lineups
Arsenal
Arsenal go into the Gameweek on the back of a brilliant 4-1 win over Crystal Palace. Saliba and Tomiyasu didn’t start the match due to injuries. Jesus is now fully fit, but has not yet started a game. Trossard has been in brilliant form before the break and should edge Jesus out for the time being.
Saliba is ruled out for GW29. Tomiyasu and Nketiah are still ruled out.
Arsenal GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-3-3
Arsenal GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Arsenal PC/Injury Updates:
Quotes from Arteta’s Pre-match press conference via Arsenal website:
On Saliba’s injury:
He is progressing. He still has some discomfort in his back. We are trying to manage him in the best possible way, but unfortunately, he’s not going to be fit for his game. We are trying – he’s trying to do everything to feel better and get back into training, but not yet.
On whether we’ll see him(Saliba) back before the end of the season:
I’m very hopeful and he is as well. Back injuries are a bit tricky with how they evolve and the load that you put in certain areas, but he’s very positive about it. The medical staff are positive about it. Let’s push it every day a little bit and see how he can cope with that, and how the pain develops as well. He’s obviously so willing to be back with the team.
on if Gabriel Jesus is nearing 100 per cent:
He’s very close to that. In the last 10 days he’s made a big step forward and you can see that he is looser and he is not thinking about [his previous injury]. You can see in training that he is already creating that chaos and unique moments that he is capable of, so he is in a good place now.
Aston Villa
Kamara has returned to training with the full group and will be available for selection if he trains normally again on Friday. Dendoncker has trained for 2 weeks and is available for selection. Matty Cash is ruled out for 2-3 weeks after suffering a calf injury at international duty. Young/Chambers are likely to replace him. Coutinho remains out.
Aston Villa GW29 Formation:
- 4-4-2
Aston Villa GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Emery when asked about his options at Right back to replace Cash:
“When Ashley Young was playing, he was playing very well and I have Calum Chambers who can play in this position as well.”

Bournemouth
Tavernier is back fit and should be back straight into the starting eleven. Bournemouth are slowly improving and 2 homes in GW29 should boost it.
Bournemouth GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-4-1-1
Bournemouth GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Bournemouth PC/Injury Updates:
Gary O Neil Quotes from Pre-Match press conference via Bournemouth website:
On Illia Zabarynyi
Illia was around over the break, so it was good to get him up to speed and we had a good two week block with him.
On Marcus Tavernier and Traore
Marcus is back fit too. Hamed Traorè played some minutes in the international break, but had a bit of illness. He didn’t start the second game for Ivory Coast, but he’s doing okay.
Brentford
Janelt missed out GW28 due to a knee injury and is likely to miss out again as well with no further updates on him. Roerslev is back fit. Brentford are likely to play 3-5-2 against Brighton.
Brentford GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-3-3
Brentford GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Quotes from Thomas Frank via Brentford website:
On Roerslev
“And Mads Roerslev is available again. That’s some positive news.”
On Ajer’s injury and if he will be fit
“He’s got a minor injury, a calf injury,” “No, but hopefully we are aiming for him to be back this season.”
On Lewis Potter
“That’s a knee injury, so a little bit longer. We don’t know exactly if this is the whole season,”

Brighton
Sarimento is out for 6-8 weeks with a foot injury and is joined by long-tern absentees Lallana and Moder. Mac Allister, Estupinan and Mitoma all returned late from international duty but should start considering how important every point is for Brighton for European spots.
Brighton GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Brighton GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Brighton PC/Injury Update:
De Zerbri when asked about fatigue from International duty via Brighton Twitter:
“We don’t have any concerns on fatigue but tomorrow will be a difficult game due to the opponent and for our players who have been away. “It’s an important test for us. We have the possibility to change our future and we want to achieve our targets.”
Chelsea
Chelsea have a long-injury and doubts list. Havertz was sick during IB, but trained now so does James. Sterling and Fofana are likely to be fit only for the second game of DGW29. Mason Mount is fit only to play from the bench.
Chelsea GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 3-4-3
Chelsea GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Chelsea PC/Injury Updates:
Potter Quotes from pre-match press conference via Chelsea website:
On Havertz
‘Kai was a fever, but he’s recovered now, so he’s trained the last couple of days,’
On James
‘Reece as well. Reece has had the last two training sessions with us, so providing there’s no reaction he should be available for tomorrow as well.
On Thiago Silva and Azpi
‘Thiago and Azpi are still away.
On Sterling and Fofana
Raheem’s coming back, he will miss the game but I think he’s got more of a chance for Tuesday. He’s close. Wesley is going to miss the game because his hamstring is still a little bit tight. I think there’s a chance for Tuesday with him.
On Pulisic
‘Christian Pulisic is the only one we’re not sure about really, he’s had a heavy cold returning from international duty. So he’s the one we’ve just got to check on.’
On Mason Mount
‘Mason has trained and he’s available. Probably not from the start but in the squad,’

Crystal Palace
The Eagles continue their poor form losing four games in a row with no wins in their last five games after a 4-1 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Both keepers Guaita and Johnstone are back which means Guaita is back in the 11. Andersen should also be back in the starting lineup after missing out GW28 due to a last minute knock. Sambi Lokonga should also be back after missing GW28 against his parent club Arsenal.
Crystal Palace GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Crystal Palace GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Crystal Palace PC/Injury Updates:
Roy Hodgson spoke to the press ahead of their match against Leicester City (via cpfc.co.uk).
On injuries in the team:
“We’ve got two players who are unfortunately not going to be available. It’s unfortunate because both were training last week, but we’ve lost Nathan Ferguson and Chris Richards for this game. Hopefully the injuries are not serious ones, so the prognosis is we might get them back for next week. Both goalkeepers are back fit.“
Everton
Everton GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-5-1
Everton GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Everton PC/Injury Updates:
Sean Dyche quotes from pre-match press conference via Everton website:
On DCL
“He hasn’t trained with the group but is back on the grass again. He has been making progress, which is good. He had a slight niggle in a different area but he is making very good progress so we are happy with that.”
On players coming from International duty and training back
“The group look fresh in the way they have trained in the last few days. I’m pleased, overall. Nothing major has come back on the injury front which is helpful. Particularly with Amadou (Onana) playing both games. It’s so far, so good.
“A couple of them are back in today, including Alex (Iwobi).”

Leicester City
The return of Kristiansen makes the full back situation really interesting. Castagne and Pereira have done really well and are difficult to drop. Iversen came in for the dropped Ward and should get a run of games.
Leicester City GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Leicester City GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Leicester City PC/Injury Updates:
Rodgers quotes from Leicester City website:
On Kristiansen
“[Kristiansen] done very well, He’s trained this week so we’ll assess him finally tomorrow before the game and we’ll see where he’s at fitness wise. He’s trained this week and he’s done very well.
On Souttar
“It’s a big thanks to Australia. [Souttar] had a slight knock on his ankle and they could have kept him there to see if he played on the Tuesday. If he did or he didn’t, it was a long way back for him to get ready, so they took the decision to look after Harry and rule him out of the game and send him back early to get the treatment.
“That’s made a big difference for us. Him travelling back has allowed him to get some treatment, get working again and so hopefully he should be fine. We were really grateful to (Australia manager) Graham [Arnold] and his medical staff for allowing him to do that.”
On Evans
“Jonny is back in training, which is great for us
On Tielemans
“Sadly he’s had a slight setback,” . “He was due to train this week. He was training very well up until last Friday. He’s had a slight setback which may need some rest now.
On Praet
“He had a little bit of a dead leg but hopefully he’ll be able to train tomorrow. Everyone else (on international duty) has come back and looked good.”
Liverpool
Klopp confirmed that Nunez is in contention to be fit for the City game. Diaz is back in training but GW29 but might come a bit too early. If Nunez can’t make the 11, it will be Jota filling in.
Liverpool GW29 Predicted Formation:
- 4-3-3
Liverpool GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Liverpool PC/Injury Updates:
Quotes from Klopp via Liverpool website:
On Nunez
“Darwin couldn’t train for two or three days this week still because of the cut he got against Real Madrid on his foot but was yesterday then back in full training so he is definitely in contention.”
On Diaz
“We have to be patient but it’s a massive boost anyway, “It’s just nice to have the boy around because he is a super energiser, super-positive impact with just being around. “So, we will see. In training everything looks fine but of course he’s not in the squad for the weekend, there’s no chance.
“Next week will be an important week for him; this week he was doing parts of training, next week I think most of the things he can do. Then we will see. Maybe [ready for] Arsenal but more likely Leeds after that.”

Manchester United GW29 Predicted Formation:

Manchester United GW29 Predicted Lineup:
Manchester United PC/Injury Updates:
Ten Haag Pre-match press conference quotes via Manchester United website:
On Rashford
“I have good hope,”He trained but he had to do some treatment, he had to do some individual training and, today, he joined in the group. I think we have one more day so I have good hope he’s available. I think so.
“For me, it’s positive that he took that time to turn off from football [to go to New York]. I’ve seen him back this week and he showed a lot of energy, a lot of motivation, so this training, as the whole team, was a really good session with a lot of spirit, but especially also with Marcus.”
Newcastle United
The Magpies make it back-to-back wins after a 2-1 win away against Nottingham Forest. They are now in the fifth position five points clear of Liverpool in sixth.

On Botman
“Sven suffered a nasty bout of food poisoning. I don’t think he was alone in the Netherlands’ camp so he left early to get himself back up to speed. He’s trained with us since he’s returned so he should be fine.”
On Almiron
“I’d love him to beat the timescale given, but I don’t see it currently. He’s making good progress and he’s pain free so I don’t think there’s any long term issues but it’s just the time it takes for the muscle to heal. I think we’re four weeks off, maybe slightly less, but he’s making really good progress.”
On Isak
“We haven’t seen him yet, so I’ll see him for the first time today but I’m not aware of any problems [from international duty]. He’s got himself into a really good place & he’s getting fitter with every game. His ability has never been in question.”
On Pope
“Nick felt a problem in his thigh after the Wolves game and didn’t train in preparation for the Nottingham Forest game but completed that game with a bit of discomfort. He didn’t train in Dubai but has done this week so the signs are good.”
On Gordon
“I don’t know if he’ll be available on Sunday. He took part in a very small part of training on Wednesday so we’ll see how he’s responded to that today.”
