Key points to note about upcoming Double and Blank Gameweeks
- FPL DGW29: FPL DGW29 is the biggest double of the season with 12 teams doubling
- FPL BGW32: Blank gameweek due to FA Cup Semi-finals with 8 confirmed fixtures. Man City vs Brighton and Man United vs Chelsea will be the two blank fixtures in GW32!
- FPL DGW34: 6 teams confirmed to double
- FPL DGW36: A likely mini-double with Brighton and Newcastle expected to double in GW36.
- FPL DGW37: 4 teams(Brighton, Chelsea, Man United, Man City) will most likely double to accommodate the GW32 blanks.
Summary of the key teams from an FPL GW29 Wildcard Perspective
- 9 teams are confirmed to Double in GW29 and also surely don’t blank in GW32– Liverpool, West Ham, Brentford, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Leeds, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest.
- Liverpool and West Ham surely double in GW29 and GW34 plus have a fixture in BGW32. No blanks and two doubles for Liverpool and West Ham from GW29 to GW34.
- Brighton surely double in GW29, Surely blank in GW32, Surely double in GW34, and most likely double in GW36 and GW37. One blank and four doubles for Brighton from GW29 to GW38.
- Man United will surely double in GW29, Surely blank in GW32, Surely double in GW34, and most likely double in GW37. One blank and three doubles for Man United from GW29 to GW38.
- Man City will not double in GW29, Surely blank in GW32, Surely double in GW34, and most likely double in GW37. One blank and two doubles for Man City from GW29 to GW38.

Pros and Cons of FPL GW29 Wildcard
Pros:
- If your team is a bit weak for GW29 then you can wildcard this week to set up a good team for GW29 while also planning for GW34. A decent strategy if you have the FH left as well for GW32.
- Can target players from teams like- Liverpool, West Ham, Brighton and Manchester United who double in both GW29 and GW34(If you have the free hit left and use it in GW32)
Cons
- Long gap from now till GW34 which could potentially hamper a few bench boost plans if there are injuries
- Might have to take a gamble on Liverpool assets who are expensive and have not been consistent but double in GW29/34 plus play in Blank gameweek 32.
- A lot of managers will bench-boost in GW29 which makes it 11 vs 15 for DGW29 Wildcarders

- West Ham – Aguerd, Zouma, Benrahma
- Liverpool – TAA, Salah, Darwin
- Leicester City – Maddison, Barnes, Iversen
- Brighton – Steele, Estupinian, March, Mac Allister, Mitoma, Ferguson
- Aston Villa – Mings, Watkins
- Newcastle United – Botman, Schar, Trippier, Pope, Isak
- Man City – Grealish, Ederson, Haaland, Mahrez
- Arsenal – Saka, White, Odegaard, Gabriel, Zinchenko
- Chelsea – Havertz, Kepa, Chilwell

FPL GW29 Wildcard Drafts
FPL GW29 Wildcard Draft 1
(Plan to use Free Hit in GW32 & Bench Boost in GW34)
- No Saka is a big risk in this draft. There is an option to go with Saka+Bruno instead of Salah+March in this draft if you like the former pair more.
- Salah and Liverpool have not been consistent and have a tricky double gameweek this time, but he has returned in big matches this season despite Liverpool’s ordinary run. 8 points vs United(A), 8 points vs City(H), 15 points vs Tottenham(A), 21 points vs United(H).
- West Ham are a good defence at home and have two home games in DGW29, Since the World Cup break, West Ham have conceded the 3rd least Big chances at Home.
- Maddison is an excellent Differential for DGW29(still at <10% TSB)
- Benching Dilemmas would be plenty between GW30-GW33.

How the Draft will look in FPL DGW34
(Bench Boost)- Without doing any transfers
- 10 Doublers for GW34 confirmed without doing any transfers at all from GW30-GW33. You can use the Free transfers from GW30-GW33 to get 13-15 Doublers for GW34 and use bench boost
- Watkins can be Toney/Darwin based on form/injury news and bans. Ings can also be a good shout if he picks up form.

- This team covers up really well if you don’t have the Free Hit. Can help you Navigate GW29 Double(12 Doublers), GW32 Blank(10 players) and GW34 Double(12 Doublers) with planned transfers.
- Benrahma is a Good Differential pick, but Mac Allister/Mitoma are better options to go for if you have good team value.
