Pros of FPL GW29 Free Hit
- Attack the Biggest Double Gameweek of the season with 11 Double Gameweek players
- Good Differential players Double Gameweek players available- Salah, Fernandes, Brighton Mids, Maddison, Watkins, Havertz, Isak, etc
Cons of FPL GW29 Free Hit
- Quality Single Gameweek players with good fixtures. All these players can haul and there is a good chance that they might outscore your Double Gameweek players. Most of these players would be in your normal team(without Free Hit) and removing them on Free Hit can backfire heavily.
- Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard vs Leeds(H)
- Haaland vs Liverpool(H)
- Kane vs Everton(A)
2. Free Hit can be saved for future Gameweeks(Mainly GW32). It is confirmed that City, United, Chelsea, and Brighton blank in GW32. There are quality FPL assets from these teams and you would require them before GW32 and also after GW32. So Free Hit can be really handy in GW32.
3. You can easily make up a strong eleven for GW29 even without Free Hit.
4. Bench Boost in GW29 is a great option with a big Double and also good Single Gameweek fixtures.

FPL GW29 Free Hit Drafts
FPL GW29 Free Hit Draft One:
- Draft with both Salah and Bruno Fernandes. Salah has a tough away Double vs City, Chelsea but he has returned in big matches this season despite Liverpool’s ordinary run. 8 points vs United(A), 8 points vs City(H), 15 points vs Tottenham(A), 21 points vs United(H). At just 25% ownership, owning Salah on a Free Hit can fetch you great rewards if he performs.
- Watkins and Havertz lead the Forward line. Both are on penalties. Watkins has 8 goals contributions from his last 8 games- 6 goals, 2 assists, and has been in brilliant form. Havertz has scored in the last 2 Premier League and has a Double Gameweek against Villa(H) and Leicester(H)- Both sides are Top 2 for Big Chances conceded since the World Cup as seen below:
Most Big Chances Conceded since GW17
- Liverpool- 36
- Aston Villa- 36
- Leeds United- 35
- Bournemouth- 32
- Everton- 31
- Forest, Palace- 29
- We have gone with a Brighton defensive Double up of Steele and Estupinan in this draft. If you are not confident of Brighton’s clean sheet prospects, you can replace Steele with Raya.
- Maddison is an excellent Differential for GW29(still at <10% TSB) and is unlucky to get have just one assist despite an xGI of 2.30. He is surely due a big haul in one of these games.
- Rashford and Trippier don’t need any justification at all and they pick themselves.

FPL GW29 Free Hit Draft Two:
- Navas comes in as a Differential Goal Keeper in this draft at just 0.9% ownership. He might not be a popular keeper in FPL but is a good option to consider if you are a fixtures manager. Forest are up against Wolves(H) and Leeds(A). Leeds are ranked 4th worst for xG in the league since the World Cup break. Wolves are ranked 7th worst during the same and Forest are also a more solid side at home.
- Brighton midfielders have been in excellent form and In this draft, we have gone with 2 Brighton Midfielders ahead of Salah.
- Chilwell comes in this draft and he is always capable of getting goals and assists as well. Potter is now fully back to a three-at-the-back, wing-back system which has worked well for Chilwell operating as a LWB.

FPL GW29 Free Hit Draft Three
- Isak comes in as a third forward in this Draft. He is just owned by 3.% managers and is now fully fit and picking up form. He has 3 goals from the last 2 games.
- We have gone without Fernandes in this Draft mainly because of the slightly deeper position Bruno takes place in the absence of Casemiro. Casemiro is suspended for the games in GW29.
- Aguerd is another Differential in this draft. West Ham’s form has been very mixed this season, but at home, they perform much better. Since the World Cup break, West Ham have conceded the 3rd least Big chances at Home.
