FPL GW11 Wildcard Team Reveal | Best Wildcard Draft

GW10 proved to be a mixed bag for a lot of managers with some high profile picks going silent. Man City losing to Palace which was totally unexpected came as a surprise as well. Going into FPL GW11 there are still a lot of managers left with a wildcard. Incase you’re wildcarding then here’s a Wildcard draft that I would go for on an FPL GW11 Wildcard.

FPL GW11 Wildcard defenders:

We have been blessed with not just one but three FPL defenders who are consistently getting attacking returns. the trio of Trent alexander arnold, Chilwell and James have seven goals and five assists between them so far this season. The trio are absolutely essential in your FPL GW11 wildcard as their cealing for returns is massive. Also, the trio combined together is owned by just 0.33% of managers so could offer a massive upside if you’re looking to climb up in ranks.

The remaining two slots go for Tino Livramento and Ben Johnson. Tino has nothing but an outstanding FPL asset so far this season with returns in six of his last seven games with a goal, assist and four cleansheets during the period making him an absolute FPL GW11 wildcard essential. Ben Johnson has been starting in LB in place of the injured Coufal and him starting for West ham have coincided with a strong defensive run for the hammers. The kid even went on to score his first PL goal against Villa. Even though Coufal is back from injury, Now with European commitments as well, we could still see Johnson start a game here and there even though which makes him a good fifth defender choice.

If you’re not convinced by the Chelsea double up you can go for Cancelo/Dias who are equally good as well. Cancelo offers the same threat as the Chelsea fullbacks but you’ll have to decide on whether to start him in FPL GW11 against Man United or not. But going by the UCL performances, United looked poor whereas Cancelo was amazing registering three assists!

FPL GW11 Wildcard Midfielders:

Mo Salah is the games highest scoring and most owned player and he’s an automatic pick into any wildcard draft. Son makes it as the second premium midfielder in our FPL GW11 wildcard draft as he’s expected to play up to in Conte’s 3-5-2 system. The fixtures and conte becoming new Spurs manager has kinda made the hot prospect in FPL currently.

Phil foden is the third mid with the Man city wonderkid in good form this season, he’s been unstoppable and is playing uptop as well. He’s known to perform well in big games and with Man United facing a mini defensive crisis makes him an exciting short and long term option.

The news of Firmino has once again opened the door for Diogo Jota to claw back his FPL attention. Liverpool are free flowing and a Liverpool attacker priced at 7.5 Million expected to start regularly even if it’s for a few weeks is hard to ignore.

Emilie Smith Rowe completes the midfield with the Arsenal attacker nick named “cordyon de bruyne” in the thick of things for an ever improving Arsenal side.

Few other alternate midfielders to consider in your FPL GW11 wildcard could include, Mbeumo, Maxwell Cornet, Raphinha.

FPL GW11 Wildcard Forwards:

Jimenez is once again going under the radar playing for an ever-improving Wolves side who are finally looking like a Lage team. Two goals and three assists already this season, Jimenez will look to kick on from here and has also crossed 50 goals for Wolves which will increase his hunger to score more! The fixtures look decent and he’s still lowly owned making him an ideal FPL GW11 wildcard forward.

Ivan Toney’s fixtures are hard to ignore and with his partner Mbeumo returning from injury makes his appeal even better. Now with Antonio going into a tough run of fixtures Toney could be the best alternative. Broja makes it as the third striker as his value is too hard to ignore. the forward scored twice in two consecutive starts and unfortunately missed out in FPL GW10 but the Chelsea loanee is back from injury and is fit to play. At just 5.0 Million his value especially in a wildcard is hard to ignore.

If you’re keen on a premium forward then go for a place holder like Vardy whom you can switch to Kane/Ronaldo in the future.

FPL GW11 Wildcard Goalkeepers:

Having spent quite a lot of money elsewhere the funds for keepers are less. But that isn’t a worry with Sanchez a good option regardless of the fixture and in Foster we have a four million starting keeper.

FPL GW11 Wildcard Team

FPL GW11 transfer combination

I tried to evaluate my FPL GW11 Wildcard trying to be unbiased and here’s what I think –

Strong points –

  • Going for in form premiums in the likes of Chilwell, James, Foden.
  • Getting in Son early ahead of his good fixtures plus the upside of playing under Conte.
  • Heavy in the midfield strategy with power house options

Weak points –

  • Couple of rotation risks in Foden, Chilwell/James, Jota and Broja.
  • No premium forward which means need for mutliple transfers to get Kane/Ronaldo later.
