GW32 some thrilling encounters and standout performances.
- Manchester City continued their dominant run with yet another 4-goal fest, this time over Crystal Palace, asserting their dominance in both real-life and fantasy football. If last week belonged to Foden, this week Kevin De Bruyne was instrumental, delivering a masterclass in midfield.
- Meanwhile, Liverpool drew their 2nd game in 4 matches. In fact, their last 3 games against the big teams – Arsenal, City and Utd have yielded just 2 points out of a potential 9.
- Arsenal continued their unbeaten streak in the league in 2024 with a hattrick of Clean Sheets and 6 Clean Sheets in the last 8 games.
Overall, GW32 provided plenty of talking points and potential differentials for astute fantasy managers to consider as they plan their strategies for the upcoming Gameweeks. The midweek European games are over and it’s time to plan for GW33.
So, let’s start with our BUY-HOLD-SELL article for this GW, sponsored by …. Well, nobody. We are poor, but you can help here if you want 😊

FPL Gameweek 33 Transfer Tips: Two Players to BUY
Cole Palmer (£6.1m) – MID, Chelsea – 45.7% TSB
Since GW7 and since every subsequent GW, Cole Palmer is the leading FPL scorer in home games. Take a moment to absorb the scale of consistency here. We are talking about a 7-month period out of 8 months played so far. This week Palmer plays Everton at home.
Last week, Everton kept their first Clean Sheet since January against Burnley, a team which is ranked 19th in terms of goals scored. And no team has scored fewer goals since Gameweek 22 than The Toffees.
Hence, I recommend you buy Palmer this week for attacking returns as well as Clean Sheet point.

Bruno Fernandes (£8.2m) – MID, Man Utd – 9.8% TSB
Man Utd has managed to score five goals in their last two matches against formidable opponents, despite their recent struggles. The challenging stretch of facing Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool over five games has concluded, paving the way for a more promising outlook ahead. Their upcoming fixtures against Bournemouth (A), Sheffield United (H), Burnley (H), and Crystal Palace (A) present a favourable run.
- In the last 6 games, Fernandes has scored 39 points (team highest).
- His XGI during that time is double that of his nearest teammate.
- The Portuguese midfielder had scored 20 points from these 4 reverse fixtures.
So I recommend buying Bruno Fernandes as a shrewd differential.

Brentford Assets
A wretched run of fixtures starting from GW22, saw Brentford face Spurs, City (2), Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd in 7 of their last 12 matches. Now the fixtures turn for the better starting with the easiest fixture of this GW – a home game against the last boys.
Toney, Mbeumo, Wissa, Flekken, Reguilón – all of them can be excellent differentials as none of them have ownership greater than 10%.
Therefore, my recommendation is to retain Brentford players in your squad.

Anthony Gordon (£6.0m) – MID, Newcastle – 11.8% TSB
A failure to appear and a scoreless performance in the last two GWs might have led some managers to doubt Gordon’s abilities. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to recognize that he remains the second highest-scoring player in home matches this season. Gordon has only failed to score once in home games this season.
Most Goal Involvements at Home in Premier League this season:
- Gordon- 17
- Watkins- 17
- Salah- 14
- Bailey- 14
- Foden- 14
- Palmer- 13
- Haaland- 13
Gordon is scheduled to play against Spurs at home in the next match. Spurs have only kept two clean sheets since Gameweek 10, with only Sheffield United recording fewer clean sheets during that period.
Therefore, retaining Gordon in your team is recommended.

FPL Gameweek 33 Transfer Tips: Two Players to SELL
Richarlison (£6.8m) – MID, Spurs – 2.9% TSB
Postecoglou: “Richarlison will miss the game this week due to knee injury. He is close but with next weekend off, the last two rounds are stacked with games and having him ready for that is more important”.
As we approach the critical stage of the season, it’s crucial to make decisive transfer decisions with the limited time remaining. Consequently, considering Richarlison’s absence, he becomes a prime candidate for removal. Moreover, Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming matches don’t seem very promising either.
Therefore, it’s advisable to offload the Brazilian this week.

Jarrod Bowen (£7.8m) – MID, West Ham – 20.0% TSB
Jarrod Bowen is unlikely to recover in time after missing the Leverkusen trip due to a back injury. Looking ahead to GW33 and beyond, his fixture schedule doesn’t offer much promise.
In GW34, he travels to face Crystal Palace, a team he failed to score against in the previous encounter, and notably, he doesn’t have a Double Gameweek.
From GW35 onwards, he’s set to take on formidable opponents like Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
Given these factors, it’s wise to seriously consider parting ways with Bowen.
