FPL GW30 Defenders & Goalkeepers Combinations
FPL Goal Keeper Rotation:
This is mainly for GW30/GW31 Wildcarders looking for the Best Goalkeeper Rotation for their bench boost in either Gameweek 34 or Gameweek 37. We have listed four options, two each depending on the bench boost scenario.
Bench Boost- GW34(2 options)
1. Raya(£5.0) & Pickford(£4.6) :
Rotating the Everton and Arsenal goalkeepers will give you four fixtures in DGW34 as both of them double in Gameweek 34. This combination also avoids a big six side in 8/9 remaining gameweeks.
Raya and Pickford are also 1st and 2nd for most clean sheets this season with Raya keeping up 9 clean sheets and Pickford keeping 8 clean sheets so far this season.

Pickford(£4.6) & Neto(£4.7) :
If you want to not waste an Arsenal spot then you can also go for a Pickford and Neto combination with an aim for a GW34 bench boost. Both Everton and Bournemouth double in GW34, Also in GW37 Everton will have Sheffield at home, If the Blues keep a clean sheet in that match then Pickford can come close or match other DGW37 goalkeepers who’ll have two fixtures(Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Spurs, Man United, and Newcastle United).

Bench Boost- GW37(2 options)
Petrovic(£4.5) & Ederson(£5.5):

Some Notes on the FPL GW30 Goalkeepers Combinations
- 1. Alisson & Pickford too rotate well for GW34 Bench Boost.
- But we haven’t gone there for three reasons:
- Injury return not clear yet
- Blocks TAA+ Darwin+ Salah for DGW34
- £5.7 is too much for a goalkeeper
- Kelleher is also a no-go because Alisson is expected to be back before the DGW34.
- Crystal Palace have decent fixtures in GW34- WHU(H), NEW(H) But fixtures around it are really difficult as they play Man City, Liverpool, Man United, and Villa around it.
- Petkovic+Johnstone is a good budget rotation if you don’t have Bench Boost yet as you will get 3 DGWs for Goalkeepers
- Raya plus Petrovic is a also a good combination if you don’t have Bench Boost yet as you will get 3 DGWs for Goalkeepers. Raya doubles in GW34, and Petrovic likely doubles in GW36 and 37!
- Brighton rotate really well with Everton. But there is GK rotation between Steele and VB. So it makes sense to rotate Van Hecke(£4.1) and Branthwaite(£4.2) for 5th DEF rather than Goalkeeper rotation
- Onana+ Pickford / Petrovic+ Pickford are other budget options to consider for GW37 BB even though Everton don’t double in GW37
- Dubrakva + Petrovic is also a good combination but Pope is expected back before the double gameweek 37 which makes it tricky. You can instead go for Gusto/Burn or Lascelles or Trippier and rotate them in defence.
- Ederson + Onana is a decent combination but it’s an expensive pairing with Ederson being 5.5 Million and Onana being 4.8 Million

FPL GW30 Defenders Rotation Combinations
Gusto (£4.2m) plus Munoz £4.5m
Chelsea full-back Gusto and Crystal Palace’s January signing Munoz both rotate well from GW30 until the end of the season.
Crystal Palace will double in GW34, whereas Chelsea are likely to double in GW36 and GW37 which gives you three double gameweeks from now until the end of the season.
Crystal Palace play in an attacking 3-4-3 formation under new manager Oliver Glasner. Munoz operates as the RWB and occupies attacking positions on the pitch which can be seen from his heatmap below.
If you want to save money you can go for Chris Richards who has played 90 mins in all games from GW14 and the USA defender is priced only at 3.9 Million!

Rotations involving Rayan Aït-Nouri
- Ait Nouri plus Munoz rotate really well till GW35. You can go with the duo and then target Gusto/Van Hecke/Newcastle defender for their double in GW37. This is handy especially if you’re planning to Bench Boost in DGW34 as both Wolves and Crystal Palace double in GW34
- Ait Nouri & Branthwaite is also a wonderful combination for Bench Boost in DGW34. You can even hold Branthwaite for GW37 as they play Sheffield United(H) & sell Ait Nouri for a DGW37 defender(Gusto, Van Hecke, Lacelles etc)
- Ait Nouri & Gusto is a sensational combination. You get Two Burnley games, one Luton game, One Sheffield game, and a double gameweek between GW30 and GW35. You can start Ait Nouri in DGW34 and sell him later for a DGW37 defender if your plan is to bench boost in GW37.
Newcastle defender plus Everton defender
Jamaal Lascelles (£3.9m) and Branthwaite (£4.2m)
Everton double in GW34 and Newcastle double in GW37 which makes the combination of Branthwaite and Newcastle defender(Lascelles/Burn/Trippier) a good FPL GW30 defender rotation combination to consider.
Lascelles was the one who replaced Botman when he was injured earlier in the season and it is expected that’s the scenario once again with Botman ruled out of the season. However, there’s a slight chance Burn can fit into CB with Trippier and Livramento as the full-backs. If you’re not sure of Lascelles xMins then you can go for Burn/Trippier(If budget permits)

Gusto (£4.2m) plus Branthwaite (£4.2m)
The rotation combination of Gusto and Branthwaite will give you three double gameweeks with Everton doubling in GW34 and Chelsea likely to double in GW36 and GW37. Branthwaite is a 100% nailed option having played every minute since GW18 for Everton, If you’re looking for goal threat as well in your Everton defender then Branthwaite’s partner, Tarkwoski could be a decent alternative, he’s priced at £4.6m which is 0.4 Million more than Branthwaite.
Note: Branthwaite is also on 7 yellow cards, if he picks up three more yellow cards before GW33 he’ll be suspended for two games. It is highly unlikely he gets 3 yellow cards in the next four games!

Van Hecke (£4.1m) and Branthwaite (£4.2m)
This combination of Van Hecke and Brantwaite is an excellent combination, only in DGW37 and GW38 one of the two defenders will have to face a big six team. FPL managers can get this combo for just 8.3 million and the duo offers good value, if you want to bench boost in GW37 this combo is still good with Everton facing Sheffield United who’ll be most likely confirmed to be relegated by then and will have nothing to play for.

Van Hecke (£4.1m) and Gusto (£4.2m)
The last defender combination is the duo of Van Hecke and Gusto. Both of the teams are likely to face each other in GW37 and they would double which makes them a good combo if you’re considering a GW37 bench boost. Additionally, Chelsea are also likely to double in GW36. Both of them have tricky GW34 fixtures and if you’re not free-hitting then you can bench both in DGW34.
