FPL GW20 Injury News:

  • Newcastle: Joe Willock and Harvey Barnes continue to work behind the scenes, but we don’t have an update on them. Jamaal Lascelles’ injury we don’t think is serious, we hope to get him back very soon.
  • Aston Villa: Lucas Digne faces up to a month out after suffering a hamstring injury at Old Trafford. Robin Olsen remains unavailable while Pau Torres is still not 100 percent and unlikely to start against Burnley.
  • Man City: Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and John Stones are all OUT of Saturday’s PL match against Sheffield United
  • Wolves: “Both ‘Dawson’ and ‘Chan’ are fit, both fully trained today and are available for selection tomorrow,” said O’Neil. Pedro will be involved against Everton, we’ll put in as many minutes into him as we see correct at this moment
  • Bournemouth: Andoni Iraola says that Hamed Traorè will be out for “some time” after a spell in hospital with Malaria.
  • Spurs: Kulusevski and Bissouma are suspended. Oliver Skipp is expected to return after missing the Brighton game due to a knock.
  • Brentford: Thomas Frank says it will be “touch and go” if Mathias Jensen starts for BrentfordFC against Crystal Palace tomorrow. Schade & Lewis Potter – they are longer term. I don’t know exactly but they are definitely not in my picture for the next month at least but it could be longer. “Kristoffer Ajer is more positive and could be available for Nottingham Forest.” Frank also said Shandon Baptiste missed the defeat to Wolves with a “minor foot injury” and he “may be available” for Crystal Palace. The plan with Josh Dasilva is for him to make his return from injury in next weekend’s FA Cup tie against Wolves.
  • Crystal Palace: Sam Johnstone will not be back for the GW20 fixture. Odsonne Edouard, we will see in the training session tomorrow, it will be touch and go.
  • Luton Town: Kabore trained today [Friday] and he’s available which is great news,” said Edwards. Marvelous Nakamba, who has had an operation on his meniscus and now faces a spell on the sidelines.
  • Chelsea: Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that Mykhailo Mudryk needs to be assessed ahead of tomorrow’s game after he limped off during the second half of our victory over Crystal Palace. Lavia has also picked up a knock from the Palace game
  • Fulham: Silva on Fulham team news – Tim Ream and Adama Traore are out. “We have to keep assessing Willian. We expected him to be ready (for Bournemouth), but he wasn’t, he’s a doubt (for Arsenal).”
  • Pep on Haaland: Still he’s not with the team. He feels better but he hasn’t made one training session with us. Hopefully, in January he can come back”. “It’s not a stress or fracture but a question of when the pain will disappear. Hopefully, [January]. He’s not like Foden, who is small and skinny; Erling is huge, so it’s difficult at times. He’ll be fine, and when he is, he’ll be back and play”
  • Brighton: Kaoru Mitoma (ankle) is out for up to six weeks. Adingra is out injured with a hamstring injury expected to miss AFCON. Igor (tendon) & Facundo Buonanotte (muscle) suffered injuries. I don’t know if they can play the next game at West Ham. Igor could not continue for the second half.
  • Man United: Luke Shaw and Sofyan Amrabat missed the victory over the Villans through minor issues and it seems as though the pair will also be sidelined for this encounter, with Ten Hag suggesting that no injured players would be ready to return to the matchday squad.
  • Liverpool: “Mac Allister, we will see what he can do today – if he can step into team training or not. The decision is not done yet, it’s pretty early and the Doc is not here; or maybe he is here but I didn’t see him yet. So, we will see.” Robbo still needs more range in his shoulder,” said Klopp. “Obviously it was a big surgery. [He is] still not even close to team training or whatever. Thiago expected to return to training in January
  • West Ham – Moyes on Paqueta injury: We think it should be OK, but again we’re waiting on scans etcetera before we can clarify what it is. I have no idea yet [if he will be fit to face Brighton].
  • Moyes on AFCON: I can’t give you an answer on that either, because we’ve got three or four players who are due to go to the African Nations and we’ve not had confirmation on any of them really on their join-up dates, which is incredibly strange that they’ve not come about. You’d have thought they would be ready by now and we’re still waiting on that.
  • Moyes on Kudus: “Kudus is a really important player, as he would be to any team so we’re hoping there is a chance he could be [available to face Brighton].”
