FPL GW11 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper
Johnstone has 4 clean sheets this season which is the joint 2nd highest among all teams this season. Palace are up against Burnley in GW11 whose attacking numbers have been poor- 2nd Least for Big Chances(10), 2nd worst for xG(8.56), 2nd worst for Goals scored(8) as well. Another clean sheet is likely on the cards for Palace and Johnstone in GW11.
Even after this game, Palace fixtures look good over the next 5 games.

FPL GW11 Scout Picks- Defenders
Matty Cash has been a no-brainer selection in the FPL GW11 scout picks due to his attacking threat which is unmatchable among other defenders.
Cash Rank among Defenders this season:
- xGI- 1st
- xG- 1st
- Big Chances- 1st
- Shots inside the Box- 1st
- Goals- 1st
Along with this, he also has a good matchup- Forest has conceded 131 crosses from their right flank(2nd highest in the league) which opens up the opportunity for a Cash finish via a cross from the left side(Digne).
Manchester City have the best defense in the league this season- Least xGC, Second least Big Chances conceded, Least Goals Conceded this season. Stones created 3 chances in GW10 vs Manchester United which was the highest among all defenders in GW10. Stones has been playing the inverted role this season for Manchester City which means that he is occupying attacking spaces playing almost like a Midfielder/No.10 when City have the ball.
Tsimikas is the final pick among defenders. From 9 games, Liverpool have conceded only 9 goals(Joint 3rd best) and xGC of 11.95(5th best). At 4.4 Tsimikas is a good budget option with Robertson ruled out for few months. Liverpool’s fixture run looks good till GW16 and Tsimikas should also get few attacking returns during this run.

FPL GW11 Scout Picks- Midfielders
The Egyptian king Salah is the Top Midfield once again in GW11. From 10 games, Salah has blanked only once getting 8 goals and 4 assists in the process.
He tops all the underlying attacking metrics among Midfielders- xGI and Big Chances. Luton are a much defensive side at home compared to away which means that Salah misses out on Captaincy this week in our Scout team.
After getting just 6 points from the 3 games before GW10, Foden exploded in GW10 vs Manchester United- 1.7 xGI, 1.48 xG, 4 Shots inside the box, 3 Big Chances. Only Haaland(4) had more big chances than Foden among all players in GW10. He has played 90 minutes in the last 4 Premier League games so far and can be a good differential still at less than 10% TSB.
Foden’s GW11 opponent Bournemouth are ranked 2nd worst for xGC(22.2), and 3rd worst for Big Chances conceded(33) in the league. Foden, in this current form, can create havoc against Bournemouth.
Mbeumo up against West Ham(H) is the next pick in the GW11 Scout Selection. Over the last 2 Gameweeks, Mbeumo has 2 goals, 2 assists and 27 points- Highest among all players. He has punished his sellers in GW9 and GW10. Even without penalties, his underlying numbers are good. In fact, He has the best Non-penalty xGI among all Midfielders this season.
Non-Penalty xG among Midfielders this season:
- Mbeumo- 4.61
- Son- 4.24
- Bowen- 4.14
- Salah- 4.01
He also has 9 Big chances from 10 games- Only Salah(10) has more Big Chances among Midfielders than Mbeumo.
Mitoma is the final pick among defenders. Even though he has blanked in the last 4 games, the upcoming fixtures should favour a return to form for him. Everton have also conceded 35 chances from their right flank(6th highest among all teams) and this matchup should favour Mitoma.

FPL GW11 Scout Picks – Forwards
Haaland silenced the FPL managers who didn’t captain and doubted him in GW10 with 2 goals, 1 assist, and a massive 16-point haul. He got 4 Big chances and recorded an xGI of 2.5 in GW10 which are very impressive numbers. Overall(from GW1-GW10) he tops all the attacking data- Big Chances, xG, Goals and Shots inside the Box. He takes up the armband in GW11 Scout Selection due to this mouth-watering home fixture vs Bournemouth.
Bournemouth Away Defense Team Rank(Per 90 mins):
- xGC- 20th
- Big Chances Conceded- 18th
- Shots inside the Box conceded- 19th
- Goals Conceded- 19th
Darwin Nunez has an impressive xGI/90 of 1.1 this season. He’s also had 2.15 big chances per 90 minutes this season. Darwin registered a goal and an assist vs Forest in FPL GW10 and then followed it up with the winner vs Bournemouth in the midweek Carabao Cup game. He’s expected to start in GW11 against Luton and is a great option to consider this week!
Name | App | Mins | Shots | Shots on Target | Shots Inside the Box | Big Chances | xG |
Salah £12.8 | 5 (0) | 434 | 3.73 | 1.45 | 2.9 | 1.24 | 0.93 |
Darwin £7.5 | 4 (1) | 279 | 3.87 | 2.26 | 3.23 | 1.61 | 0.7 |
Big Chances/90 minutes this season
- Wilson- 2.57
- Darwin- 2.15
- Haaland- 1.92
- Isak- 1.82
Watkins was unfortunate not to return in GW10 vs Luton after registering an xGI of 1.4 which included two big chances and a big chance created. It was only his second blank this season and his first in the last six games. Watkins and Villa are up against Forest this week and have got Fulham(H) next week both good fixtures for Watkins to get back amongst the goals and assists. The matchup also favors Watkins this week with Forest have conceded more chances through the middle(33), compared to the right (32) and left zones(23)
