Greeting everyone, the double Gameweek for Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, and Wolves is here. There are a lot of chip strategies in the game right now but for now, let’s take a look at the best players to own from the above-mentioned teams ahead of FPL DGW25.
Note: Gameweek 25 is also a blank gameweek for four teams including Man United, Brentford, Newcastle United, and Brighton because of the Carabao cup final between Man United and Newcastle United.

FPL DGW25 Players to Target
Arsenal
The team at the top of the table are ostensibly going to gain traction towards them in double Gameweek. They are in great form and their fixtures look like this:
They have a double against Leicester and Everton in GW25. Both of these fixtures are favourable for them to gain points. They both are in the bottom half of the table and also in the bottom half for expected goals conceded over the past 5 weeks. Even after this, they face Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace, and Leeds.
Arsenal double in GW25 and also have a sure game vs Crystal palace in GW28 when a lot of teams blank due to FA Cup quarter-finals. Also note, they’ll not double in GW29 as they don’t have any pending fixtures to be rescheduled (Confirmed and potential blanks/doubles starting FPL GW25)
Now, let’s take a look at some of the best assets to own from their team.
Best Arsenal FPL DGW25 Assets to Consider
Gabriel (5.2m) / White (4.7m)
Starting from their backline, Gabriel and White are great options to have in your team. They help cover the clean sheet prospects that Arsenal provide. Although the number of clean sheets have been reduced, there is still the possibility of getting those extra returns in a DGW.
Out of the two Gabriel is the safest option as he’s nailed to start. White could be rotated with Tomiyasu as seen in the last few weeks. The priority lies in the attack and let’s look at the Arsenal attackers below.
Saka (8.4m)
The best player to own from there is currently Saka, who also has assured minutes to his name. Since GW19, he has had an xGI of 0.5 per 90 minutes and is also taking a lot of shots. Moreover, the matchup is expected to provide Saka with a lot of opportunities to run behind their defences and get involved in goals. Moreover, he has not blanked for the past three weeks and is expected to continue the same.

Odegaard (7.0m)
A slightly cheaper option in the midfield position is Martin Odegaard. He has an xA per 90 of 0.36 over the past 5 weeks and creates a lot of big chances for them. Since restart, he has been an incredible asset to own, and many managers went for the Saka and Odegaard double-up in midfield as well.
Odegaard’s xA of 3.52 from GW17 till GW24 is also the 5th highest amongst all players.

Nketiah (6.8m)
The forward option from The Gunners is Nketiah. At the price of 6.8m, he is arguably one of the must-haves in the game right now. He averages around 4 shots every 90 minutes, out of which half are from inside the box. He has an xG of 0.61. Although a mins risk going in the long term he’s still an excellent option for GW25 as he’s expected to start both games.
Nketiah between FPL GW17 to GW21 vs FPL GW22 to GW24
Martinelli (6.5m)
Although he got a goal in the previous game week, coming off the bench. He is a big risk in terms of minutes and taking up that 3rd Arsenal spot.
Saka vs Odegaard vs Nketiah Comparison ahead of FPL DGW25
The three best attacking options from the team are these players. Out of them, let’s try and look at which comes out on the top:
In terms of goal threat, it is mainly dominated by Saka and Nketiah. Saka tops both of them and has a higher xG on average. However, Nketiah is not too far behind and is in fact higher in terms of non-penalty xG. Moreover, Nketiah has more goal chances from inside the box and a higher number of big chances as well.
In terms of distribution and creative ability, Odegaard is the main man. As we can see above, he had the highest chance created. Moreover, as he is more involved in playmaking, he is at a higher BPS baseline.
Therefore, Saka seems to be the best option out of the bunch and the next player depends on the structure of your team.

Liverpool
The team next up is Liverpool. FPL managers were a bit underwhelmed by their options this season. However, it seems they have managed to turn it around over the past few weeks.
Liverpool have a double against Crystal Palace and Wolves, which are yet again lucrative fixtures to play against. Liverpool could blank in GW28 if Fulham beat Leeds and qualify for the FA Cup quarterfinals. Liverpool also double in GW29 vs Man City(A), Chelsea(A)(Confirmed and potential blanks/doubles starting FPL GW25)
Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.3m)
The defender to own for this double-game week has to be Trent. He is one of the best assets to own in the game and seems to be back in form as well. Over the last two matches, he created 2 big chances and had an xA of 0.92. He also had 5 Key Passes to his name. DGW25 could really see him score big points with a clean sheet combined with his attacking returns.

Mo Salah (12.6m)
Arguably the best and the most reliable player in their team is none other than Mo Salah. The Egyptian King scored 11 and 6 points over the past 2 weeks. He had an xGI of 1.63 and took a total of 8 shots. Out of these 7 were from inside the box and 4 were on target.
Cody Gakpo (7.7m)
Gakpo, surprisingly accumulated an xG of 1.68 along with an xA of 0.32. He even has had 4 big chances to his name and he even got into good positions during the game. He makes the runs into the box as he starts up front as well.

Darwin Nunez (8.7m)
Darwin Nunez is yet another amazing option to have upfront. He got a total of 10 points over the past two weeks. He had an xGI per 90 of 1.3 and he did take a lot of shots. Darwin doesn’t have a good conversion rate however, it could be worth having him for the double.
Salah vs Gakpo vs Darwin Nunez Comparison ahead of FPL DGW25
Now, comparing the three options from The Reds:
Mo Salah, as expected is the most versatile player here and recorded decent stats in almost all aspects. Darwin is also seen get a lot of attempts and shots. However, Gakpo has the highest goals and big chances. Also, Gakpo has a fairly well FPL Goal involvement as well.
Therefore, Salah seems to be the best out of the bunch. As for the second player, Gakpo seems to provide amazing value but it ultimately depends upon the team’s structure.
Everton
Next on the list is Everton.
Everton doubles against Villa and Arsenal in GW25. After which they have two more great fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Brentford. They don’t have many big hitters and are expected to have a somewhat underwhelming GW as they go against Arsenal.

Tarkowski (4.3m)
James Tarkowski is a great defender with an aerial goal threat and also attracts a lot of bonus points. For a defender, he had an xGI of 0.30 every 90 minutes, over the past 5 weeks. His xGI of 1.40 in the last 5 games is second amongst all Everton players!
He does have the potential to go big in the double-game week.

Alex Iwobi (5.4m)
Iwobi got an assist in their last match against Leeds. He had an xGI of 0.3 over the past two weeks. Iwobi has decent assist potential and could be a super punty option for the double if you’re on Free hit or looking for an ultra differential.
Wolves
The last team with a double in GW25 is Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves go against Fulham and Liverpool for their double, after which they have difficult fixtures as well. So it makes sense to get Wolves’ players just for their double. Wolves will also blank in GW28 if Leeds beat Fulham in the FA Cup 5th round and qualify for the FA Cup quarter-finals (Confirmed and potential blanks/doubles starting FPL GW25)
Kilman (4.4m)
The first player in the list is their defender Kilman. He gets decent options to fetch an attacking return, as he did in their win against Liverpool. Amongst all Wolves players he’s second for BPS(383) and bonus points(9) this season which shows his bonus potential whenever Wolves keep a clean sheet.

Craig Dawson (£4.8m)
Dawson is another solid option to consider from the Wolves back line. He’s currently preferred over Collins as the 2nd CB for Wolves. Dawson over the years has shown us how good he is aerially and offers a great goal threat. The only cause of concern is that he might be potentially benched for Collins once in a while which puts Kilman slightly ahead of Dawson on the players to consider from the Wolves defence.

Wolves attack
Wolves attackers stats seen above clearly indicate that there are too many options which makes them a rotation risk and also the fact that the attacking stats don’t look great at all. Sarabia, Neves, and Cunha have all been talked about on FPL Twitter and it would plainly be a punt just because they double.
