Projections Rank of our FPL Gameweek 21 Captain Picks

Projections Rank of our FPL Gameweek 21 Captain Picks

In the Fourth Phase of the article, I have used the Anytime Returns and Projected Points Tools available at Fantasy Football Hub. With the help of the Anytime Returns Tool, I have derived the Safety Rank, which helps in determining the Safest Captaincy Option of the week, while I have used the Projected Points Tool to determine the Explosion Rank, which helps in determining the Most Explosive Option of the week.

I have then averaged the Two Ranks to churn out the Average Rank Factor, which I have used to determine the Safest yet Explosive option.

Erling Haaland has the highest Anytime Returns Projections at 77%, while his Projected Points stand at 8.8 for the week.

Harry Kane has an Anytime Returns Projection at 76%, and the highest Projected Points at 8.6 this week, just behind the Manchester City talisman.

Kevin De Bruyne has an Anytime Returns Projections of 66% while the Projected Points stand at 6.6, which puts him in third place.

Ivan Toney has an Anytime Returns Projections at 53% and Projected Points at 5.3, and is tied last at the last spot with Mohammed Salah last, who has an Anytime Returns Projections at 49% and Projected Points at 5.6 .

Conclusion – Final Rank from our FPL Gameweek 21 Captaincy metric analysis

Final Rank from our FPL Gameweek 21 Captaincy metric analysis

In the Fifth and Final Phase of the article, I have aggregated the Ranks derived above to pull out the Cumulative Rank Factor (CRF). The Candidate having the lowest Cumulative Rank Factor is the most ideal Captaincy Option according to this metric.

As has been the case all season, it is Erling Haaland, who comes out on top with a CRF Value of 4.

His teammate, Kevin De Bruyne with a CRF value of 10 comes second behind Haaland, showing why he is such a strong pick again for the restart. Mohammed Salah only manages to finish third with a CRF value of 13, who beats Harry Kane and Ivan Toney who have a CRF value of 15 each.

Haaland tops the GW21 metrics which makes him the best captain option for FPL Gameweek 21
