Best FPL GW34 Free Hit Drafts to Consider | Free Hit Guide

FPL GW34 is certainly not a bad gameweek to Free hit if you have two free hits left as you cannot play the two free hits back to back in GW36 and GW37, which are both double gameweeks now. The upside of a free hit in GW34 is huge with the Chelsea having a double and both the title contenders(City and Liverpool) playing at home against Relegation candidates. Let’s look at some potential drafts to consider, the drafts will give you a birds-eye view, eventually helping you to arrive at your perfect Free Hit draft.

Why Free Hit in GW34?

• Manchester United and Chelsea have a Double Gameweek in GW34.
• Manchester City is up against Watford. This is another fixture to target on Free Hit.
• Some of the players to target on GW34 Free Hit- James, Mount, Havertz, Werner, Robbo, Salah, Sancho, De Bruyne, and Cancelo.
• If you have two free hits you cannot play it back to back in GW36,37. So GW34,36 or GW34,37, GW34,38, and GW36,38 seem to be the best possible pairs.
• You can go with a triple Chelsea/Double or Triple City and Double or Triple Liverpool. A dream-back four of Cancelo, James, TAA, and Robbo can be made possible on the Free Hit.

FPL GW34 Free Hit Draft One:

Salah plus KDB Draft

Pros of the above draft:

• Salah plus KDB in the team without disturbing the balance too much
• Werner a very good option considering his form and low ownership
• No rotation risks majorly

Cons of the above draft:

• No Cancelo and Kulusevski covering Son and Kane
• Not so great bench options

FPL GW34 Free Hit Draft Two:

James, Havertz, Mount from Chelsea. Cancelo, Laporte, KDB from City. Jota and TAA from Liverpool. Pretty strong draft covering all bases. Cancelo, KDB, and Laporte are the three nailed city assets IMO.

Pros of the above draft:

• Covers all bases including an attacker from City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs.
• Mount plus Kai a big upside

Cons of the above draft:

• Lack of bench strength
• Mateta not so great option

FPL GW34 Free Hit Draft Three:

Salah plus KDB and Chelsea mids double up draft

Pros of the above draft:

• Solid all-around with four double gameweek assets
• Salah and KDB have a big upside

Cons of the above draft:

• Kulusevski ahead of Kane/Son to afford KDB and Salah
• Pukki based on his recent form

Differential draft

Pros of the above draft:

• Chelsea double defence in James + Alonso, Alonso surprisingly overlooked
• Double city mids in KDB and Foden

Cons of the above draft:

• No Salah in the draft with Jota taking his place to save money for Kane

Son plus KDB draft with a Chelsea asset each in defence, midfield, and forward positions.

FPL GW33 Free Hit draft Six

A 4-5-1 draft with a midfield of Sterling, Salah, Mount, Mahrez(Can also be Grealish/Foden based on the lineup vs Brighton), and Kulusevski(Could also be Saka).

Pros of the draft:

• Salah plus two city mids gives enough upside for points
• James, TAA and Cancelo triple up

Cons of the draft:

• Fourth defender slot goes to Coady who plays Burnley
• Werner could be a rotation risk

Few Other players that you can target(Not seen in the above drafts)

Ronaldo(If he’s available, Wishing him and his family the best during tough times), Rudiger, Sancho, Silva, Grealish, Mane/Diaz.
