In this article, we look at the best wildcard team for GW27 which will help you set up for Double Gameweeks 28 and 29 and also the Blank Gameweek 30. This might be a good strategy for those left with only one Free Hit chip.

FPL GW27 Wildcard Draft
Planner used ~ fpl.team
Strategy, Plan and Pointers for the above mentioned FPL GW27 Wildcard draft:
- 2.1M in the bank to do Fernandes to Salah in GW28
- Bench Boost in GW28(-4) with 8 Double Gameweek Players. Other 7 Single Gameweek players with good/decent fixtures.
- 7 Double Gameweek players in GW29 including Salah Triple Captain(if you have it still) without doing any transfers. Also includes other 4 players with very good single Gameweek fixtures.
- 7 confirmed players for the Big Blank Gameweek 30 without doing any transfers. Will be 10 players if Southampton lose to West Ham in FA Cup 5th round which we will know before GW28 deadline.
GW28 Squad- Bench Boost
Planner used ~ fpl.team
- Planned transfers- Bruno and Roberts to Salah and Digne.
- Bench Boost in GW28(-4) with 8 Double Gameweek Players- Dubravaka, Livramento, Digne, Kilman, Ramsey, Raphinha, Broja.
- Other 7 Single Gameweek players with good/decent fixtures-
- Kane and Son against Everton
- Trent Alexander Arnold, Salah against West Ham
- Ramsdale, Saka, White against Watford
- Might become if 11 Double Gameweek players and 4 Single Gameweek players if Arsenal vs Chelsea get rescheduled in GW28 and Arsenal get a Double Gameweek.

- Weghorst vs Brentford
- Broja & Livramento against Watford

- Possible transfer in for Maddison for Son. Good and confirmed fixture in GW30 fixture vs Brentford and has 3 games yet to be rescheduled for Leicester.
Pros of the above FPL GW27 Wildcard draft:
- Able to maximize the Double Gameweek 28 and 29 and navigate the blank in GW30.
- Minimum of eight Double Gameweek players for GW28.
- Minimum of seven Double Gameweek players for GW29 without taking any hits.
- Minimum of seven players in Blank Gameweek 30 without doing any transfers.
Cons of the above FPL GW27 Wildcard Draft:
- No City players to attack GW27
- Not going with higher owned players like Bowen and Cancelo.
- No Chelsea players. And Chelsea might possibly double in GW28(not announced yet) and have good fixtures afterwards.
