I would like to say a few words before starting this article. I would like to thanks @allaboutfpl for letting me write this article. @allaboutfpl has given me the opportunity to write this article. This is my first article on behalf of them, by which I will be able to give you a fair idea. There are only 25 days left until the start of the 2021/22 Premier League which we are eagerly awaiting. The FPL has already been launched, which has led to discussions about the FPL on social media. As fixtures and player prices have been revealed, FPL managers have started building teams like them. So my article is about the two most studied and discussed players of last year. They are none other than the top scorers in the FPL last season and the top scorers in 2017/18 and 2018/19. One is Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes who is known as ‘Penandes’ in the FPL world and the other is Liverpool’s heartthrob Mohamed Salah whom we know as ‘King Salah’.

I will review the performance of the two in the FPL last season. I will also discuss the performance against the Big Six team.
In this comparative discussion, I am presenting to you some of the FPL metrics against Big six Teams
Bruno and Salah against top six oppositions in 2020/21
Bruno Fernandes and Mohamed Salah have both started 10 matches, playing 837 and 871 minutes respectively. They scored 3 and 5 goals and 0 and 1 assists respectively.
Bruno Fernandes and Mohamed Salah made 271 and 250 final third touches and 73 and 27 touches in the penalty area respectively.
Fernandes and Salah both received 175 and 226 passes in the final third, with both of them successfully passing 125 and 197 in the final third, which are 75 and 81% respectively.
Fernandes and Salah created 15 and 19 chances, with Big chance created 2 and 4. They got 3 and 5 Big chances.
Fernandess and Salah attempted 25 and 30 on goals. Fernandes and Salah took 10 and 18 shots inside the box and Fernandes and Salah had their shots accuracy at 36 and 36.7.
Fernandes and Salah’s goal conversion 12 and 16.7 and their xA is 3.17 and 4.04 1.79. xG is 2.33 respectively. The xGI of the two of them is 4.96 and 6.27.
Bruno and Salah against Rest of the Teams in the 2020/21 FPL Season
Bruno and Salah have both started 25 and 24 matches and Both have scored 15 and 14 goals respectively. Both played 2268 and 2208 minutes and 17 and 5 provided assists.
Fernandes and Salah both received 787 and 686 passes in the final third, with both of them successfully passing 1639 and 734 in the final third, which are 79 and 84% respectively. Successfully crossed 31and 7 which 24.2 and 30.4%. Fernandes and Salah created 80 36 chances, with Big chance created 18 and 8. They got 17 and 28 Big chances.
Fernandes and Salah attempted 96 and 96 in goals. Fernandes and Salah took shots at 38 and 80 inside the box and Fernandes and Salah their shots accuracy 42.7 and 42.7.
Fernandes and Salah goal conversion 15.6 and 5.99 and their xG is 12.93 and 5.99 xA is 7.88 and 4.88 respectively. The xGI of the two of them is 20.81 and 10.17.
Summary
We saw that Salah is ahead of the Big Six teams by a lot of FPL metrics and against the other 14 teams. Bruno Fernandez far ahead of Salah against the remaining 14 teams. It is very clear that Bruno is attacking from the bottom with the Big Six team and Salah is playing as the main attacking threat against the Big Six team.
In the 2021/22 season, the First Five gameweek is a strong captaincy contender for both Salah and Fernandes. FPL managers will benefit if these two are given rotation captaincy options.
