No double game week this time, so choosing the captain for this GW is going to be from the toughest and trickiest decisions this season as fixtures aren’t impressive and there is no standout captaincy pick this GW unlike the reverse GW when KDB was the standout, but I don’t think he is this GW. As the fixture as they are all tricky underlying stats, form, and gut feeling all have a bigger impact than they used to do. This GW is also a massive chance to go uber differential.
FPL GW28 Captain picks
Kevin De Bruyne-FUL(A)
I don’t think KDB is a standout pick this GW as Fulham improved vastly ,in fact they have one of the best defensive stats lately ,also the game is away from home and City struggled to score against United and West Ham. I thought about Cancelo as a captain but his attacking returns doesn’t look like they are coming and City defense isn’t as solid as it was. KDB minutes will be managed , I expect him to play till the 70th minute if City are leading as they have a very important clash in the UCL. He still can do a lot of damage in the minutes he will play due to the fact he is on pens , set pieces, assist potential and he manages to be in very good positions.

Fulham stats are impressive ,and I guess we all stopped targeting them way before .They really improved and I can see them causing trouble to City ,but see them keeping a CS . I think KDB contribution might be big if City are to win.

Mohamed Salah-WOL(A)
Liverpool and Mo Salah are in terrible form right now ,but also Wolves are . Liverpool looked good in their two nil win against Leipzig and Wolves defensive stats are not good at all ,also Liverpool won all their PL games against Wolves since they went up even in the season Wolves were amazing in Klopp find a way to take the three points from them. Liverpool need this win a lot and I think the leagues top scorer who has been on a goal drought for a while will contribute in this game. The past fixtures for Liverpool haven’t been easy ,that is not the only reason they didn’t preform ,but definitely a contributing factor.
I know a lot of people are getting rid of Salah but Wolves defensive stats are absolutely horrible and with Liverpool and Salah record against Wolves I can see Salah getting double digits

He is stats aren’t bad at all ,but he doesn’t get the attacking returns , I reckon he can end his drought next GW.

Kai Havertz-LEE(A)
Kai Havertz played a very advanced role as a false 9 ,and from the eye test last game he got in extremely good positions, he could have had a much bigger haul than the two assists he already got . I was watching him last season at Bayer Leverkusen and most of his attacking returns at this position . Chelsea are in fantastic form and I think we can get the win in that fixture. The only problem is Leeds sloppy pitch

Harry Kane-ARS(A)
The English Striker is in brilliant form ,he had huge haul last GW scoring a brace and assisted twice. He has a brilliant record against Arsenal playing 14 scoring 11 and having 3 assists. His stats are amazing and Arsenal defensive stats aren’t . He drops deep less often since Bale begun to start.

BruNO?
Bruno isn’t having a good fixture , West Ham are pretty solid , they did make lots of big teams struggle against them lately ,Bruno stats aren’t as good as they were , he is a very popular pick this GW and I think his EO will surpass 100% ,so you should probably captain if you are planning on going safe . His recent hauls were against Newcastle and City, he got pens in both . Do you expect him to get a pen every week? His np xG(0.49) is very low last 4 GWs (5 games) for contest Havertz had an xG of 0.34 last game only and that’s even not high. Of course he can haul as always, but I see this GW as an opportunity to go with someone bellow 100%.He also started in the midweek game. I am not saying he is not a good option , I mean I think there is more interesting picks that can score more. West Ham are going to concede anyway and there is a high chance Bruno become a part of it.

My Favorite Captain Pick for FPL GW28
It is Mo Salah , the fixture is the best between other options , underlying stats are not bad also have a feeling about him, but he is form isn’t good ,but hopefully he could turn this around , his EO won’t be high as most people are selling and not many are captaining . I would have captained Havertz if I did own as he ticks everything for me. Also I am considering Kane as his form and underlying stats are so good , have a gut feeling towards him, fixture isn’t bad at all ,but it is a derby so anything could happen. Salah for now might change to Kane.
