FPL GW 37+ Captain Picks:

Ings vs Bournemouth(A) TSB:30%

Danny Ings FPL GW 37+
20 goals already for Danny Ings so far this season!

Danny Ings has been firing on all 4 cylinders and has been a great asset to Southampton. Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has also told the press that Ings is very fot and can be expected to play all 90 and work hard.

He has 20 goals and 2 assists to his name and is closing up to Jamie vardy in the race for Golden boot. With an xG of 0.47 and a game against a defensively leaky Bournemouth side, he may look to go for the golden boot.

Ings in Numbers:

  • An amazing stat is that Ings has scored the most bonus points of any player with 38 and that will greatly increase his return when captain multiplier comes in.
  • Danny ings has registered 3 bonus points on 10 separate occasions this season.
  • Bournemouth have conceded 15 goals since the restart, only Norwich have conceded more.
  • With an xG/90 of 0.47 and averaging 3 shots per 90, he can surely be on the scorecard against Bournemouth.

2. Aubameyang vs Aston Villa(A)  TSB: 21.7%

Aubameyang FPL GW 37+
Aubameyang

Arsenal’s talisman came on from the bench against Liverpool to save energy for the FA cup clash. Post that, there is no reason for him to be rested and he should play.

Villa have been weak defensively and Auba has been nothing short of amazing for Arsenal with 20 goals and 4 assists to his name. Arsenal under Arteta have looked much better and their confidence will be high after defeating Liverpool.

Villa have conceded 66 goals which is the 2nd most by a team in the league and this will be a good opportunity for Arsenal to exploit the defence and finish season on a high

Aubameyang in numbers:

Anthony Martial vs West Ham(H)  TSB 21.8%

FPL GW 37+ Martial
Tony Martial will look to continue his scoring run at OT

He has looked really hungry for goals since the restart and along with Bruno, he has been one of the best United players.

He’s the 4th highest scoring midfielder this season and has scored almost 50 points over his previous best season. With an impressive 17 goals and 7 assists and returning in all but 1 game since the restart, he should give great returns.

There isn’t a better love story at the moment than Martial and Old Trafford. With scores of 21, 14, 13 in the last three-gameweeks, he has been lethal at home. Facing a West ham side who have conceded a total of 59 goals this season, martial will look to exploit it.

Martial in Numbers:

  1. Martial has scored 48 points in his last 3 Home matches. This is a crazy stat and though West Ham have improved, thy still look defensively susceptible
  2. He has a shooting accuracy of 51%! With an impressive 2.75 shots per 90, this is a great indicator of how lethal he can be in front of the goal

Mo Salah vs Chelsea (H) TSB:34.1%

Salah vs Chelsea FPL GW37+
Mo Salah against former club chelsea

Liverpool wouldn’t have liked how their season went and to not get the 100 point record wouldv’e been a disappointment.

But they will come back stronger and against a defensively weak Chelsea, Mo Salah will look to aim for the golden boot. He’s the highest scoring player in FPL currently with 19 goals and 9 assists.

He still needs to go a long way to get the golden boot but he’s made his intentions clear and a Liverpool team with a lesser burden would be a treat to watch now.

Salah in Numbers:

  • He has a number of 0.59 goals per match with a shooting accuracy of 46% and is also on Pens for Liverpool.
  •  He has an xG of 3.8 since the restart and enough of rest, while Chelsea will look tired after their FA cup semifinal fixture at the weekend.
  • Salah is averaging 5 goals per 90 since the restart and goals are surely around the corner.
  • Top for shots, SITB, SOT, 2nd for BCs, xG, 3rd for xGI, there’s no doubt that he’s in the thick of the action. Over the last 2 GWs especially he’s been very unlucky to not get at least 1 attacking return with 6 SOT & 3 BCs.

George Baldock vs Everton (H)  TSB 11.8%

Baldock could be a ultra differential option

This can be a great differential if it works. Sheffield face a weak Everton and their defence looks to have regained it’s consistency

Baldock in Numbers:

  • He’s just 1 point behind Stevens and the 6th highest scoring defender in fpl.
  • He’s scored 2 goals and has 4 assists In addition to 13 CS.
  • Most crosses into the penalty box in PL this season.
