The premier league is finally back after the unfortunate and unforgiving COVID – 19 pandemic and our favorite players are giving it they’re all in training to get back to fitness and put on a show for all of us fans and spectators and bring some much-needed change in our daily life.
The league and football have taken an unexpected turn and FPL is as exciting as ever and it is going to be a good battle.
Here’s our FPL GW30+ captain’s choice for this week. It is essential to keep in mind the fitness of our players and the trend of players in other leagues to avoid contact with others when the league starts and for us in choosing players

FPL GW30+ Captain picks

1. Kevin De Bruyne vs ARS (H), BUR(H), TSB- 46.4%, Price- 10.6

City’s Belgian maestro has been one of the star performers this season and was almost an underdog considering his ownership and cost at the beginning of the season. He has racked up an impressive 178 points, just shy of Salah’s 186 and has scored 8 and assisted 18 in the process.

He has been very essential to Pep and has good minutes behind him to assure us he won’t be susceptible to substitution by Pep. He is a must-have with a double GW against defensively hollow Arsenal and a home match against Burnley will help him bring out his strengths

2. Sergio Aguero vs ARS (H), BUR(H),

City’s highest goalscorer ever has been very good this season despite very few numbers. He has 16 goals and 4 assists from just 1384 mins and he is also fit owing to the break. He is susceptible to being subbed but a DGW will ensure he gets enough time to score a goal or 2.

3. Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang vs MCI(A), Brighton(A) TSB-27.6%, Price- 11.1

Another player who can help us in this DGW is Arsenal talisman Aubameyang. He has looked great under Arteta and might start to play centrally too with Tierney and Ceballos back and he’ll be at his best. He’s scored 17 and assisted a further 3 this season already.

Furthermore, Aubameyang is a bonus point machine. No one has picked up more bonus points(29) this season than the Arsenal captain.

Arsenal rely heavily on their captain to step up away from home. To put it in numbers, 9 of his 17 goals have come on the road. In all Arsenal have scored 14 goals away from home, Aubameyang has been involved in 11 of them.

Despite facing city in this DGW, he can make most of it and there’s a good chance that if Arsenal do score goals, Auba will be involved.

4. George Baldock vs AVL(A), NUFC(A) Price: 5.1 Mil TSB:11.6%

A defense captain is always risky given the focus of points on clean sheets but looking at Sheffield’s track record and their fixtures against Aston Villa and Newcastle who have been very poor at attacking all season, he can be an underdog captain’s choice

Lord Lundstram’s place was doubtful with the record signing of Sander Berge and Baldock is the next highest scoring defender for Sheffield and has helped his team amass 10 CS while eve scoring 2 and assisting 4 in the process.  Baldock also has 16 Goals+Assists+CS so far, just one shy of Lundstram.

5. Raul Jimenez vs WHU(A), TSB- 32.4%, Price-8.1

The Mexican started this season on the high of last season and a lot doubted if he could return in a similar form. He proved all his doubters wrong and has been exceedingly impressive for Wolves. He’s the 3^rd highest scoring attacker this season with 147 points with 13 goals and 6 assists.

Wolves face a West Ham side who have been defensively abysmal last time they played but with Fabianski, things might change with a change in form owing to break. Wolves will definitely want to start out well and will look upon their striker up top to deliver.
