Best FPL Team to select ahead of GW30+ Deadline with No WC

After a long break exhausting from English football, the Premier League is back. Although the title race may be over there is still a lot to fight for in the league. The cards for the top 4 , European football and relegation battle is still on the table to make it interesting for all our FPL managers.

The return to FPL, English football starts with GW 30+ on 17/06 and all the managers have been given an interesting updates by the FPL. The new update being an Unlimited amount of transfers allowed for all managers for GW 30+.

With the opening week being a Double GW, FPL managers with Wild Cards(WC) are using this opportunity to use this unlimited transfer to set the best team with every player having a Double GW fixture. But some of us FPL managers might not have a Wild Card to change the FPL team after the end GW 30+.

So in this blog, we will guide you with the best GW 30 + FPL team that us FPL managers who do not have a WC can opt for taking into account the future GW fixtures coming ahead.

Goalkeeper Picks

FPL Team for GW30+
Solid duo?

Rui PatrĆcio, Price: Ā£5.2, TSB: 9.8%

Wolves have managed to keep 8 clean sheets this season and their upcoming 8 GWā€™s have FDRā€™s of two or three(4-2ā€™s and 4-3ā€™s). With no injuries and the comeback of Willy Boly, Rui PatrĆcio could be the best option for the future.

Pepe Reina, Price: Ā£4.5, TSB: 0.7%

Since we donā€™t have a WC for changing the squad for future we can think of permanent starter whose points can be of use in GW 30+ by using bench boost if any FPL Mangers do have one available. Although he might not be the best goalkeeper in terms of points he is definitely one of the best backups.

Defender Picks

FPL Team for GW30+
Hereā€™s the best set of defenders for the reminder of the season without WC

John Egan, Price: Ā£4.6, TSB: 2.8%

With 10 CS and a reasonable price for a definite starter John Egan seems to be the best choice for the long term and for the upcoming GW. The double GW makes it a added bonus for all FPL managers as well šŸ˜‰.

Jamaal Lascelles, Price: Ā£4.3, TSB: 4.6%

One of the best differential choices for a cheaply priced defender is Newcastle Unitedā€™s, Jamaal Lascelles. Newcastle have managed to keep 9 clean sheets this season 7 of which have come under Lascellesā€™s start. A definite starter with a number of favorable fixtures coming and he definitely seems to be the best choice for the future GWā€™s.

Enda Stevens, Price: Ā£5.2, TSB: 3.1%

Doubling up on Sheffield Unitedā€™s Defense might seem a bit terrifying for some managers but it might definitely be worth it. The fixtures may not be entirely favorable for Sheffield but they have been really reliable defensively this season. With 10 CS and 4 goal contributions, he might definitely one to watch out this GW.

Adam Masina, Price: Ā£4.3, TSB: 0.3%

One of the most under rated defense this season has been Watford F.C. They have managed to keep 9 CS this season just 3 behind the best defensive side Liverpool(12-CS) despite their relegation battles.

Masina not only is cheap he is also a goal threat and a definite starter for Watford F.C. could prove to be key in Watfordā€™s survival in the league.

Serge Aurier, Price: Ā£4.9, TSB: 5.5%

An overlooked defender right now in FPL is definitely Spursā€™s Serge Aurier. With 7 goal contributions and 5 CSā€™s Aurier definitely seems to be the best Spurs defender at the moment and an attacking threat as well.

With a number of favorable fixtures incoming he definitely seems one for the future and threat if you have Bench Boost.

Midfielder Picks

Hereā€™s the best midfield line for the season without WC

Kevin De Bruyne, Price: Ā£10.6, TSB: 46.8%

The most obvious pick of all timešŸ˜œšŸ¤£. The Stats just seem to justify his pick with 8 goals and 18 assists this season so far. He is coming up against Arsenal against whom he got a whopping 19 points this season and a double delight coming up against Burnley.

Although some fear the risk of bench I think he is so crucial to pep that he will start both the matches but might not complete 90 minutes both games.

John Fleck, Price: Ā£5, TSB: 5.9%

With a double GW coming up for John Fleck his price and his goal scoring exploits definitely puts him as one of the most overlooked midfield option.

He has managed to score 5 goals and provide 2 assists and is the leading goalscorer this season for Sheffield United. Definitely one to watch out for.

Fernandes, Price: Ā£8.6, TSB: 17.1%

Since his arrival to United he has been a revelation , United have been on a great form since his debut against Wolves.

He has managed to score 2 goals and provide 3 assists in 5 PL matches. With a lot of injury returns it really has boosted Man Unitedā€™s squad strength and this could really benefit Fernandes his performance.

Man Unitedā€™s hunt for Champions league spot could be benefited by their run of favorable fixtures and Fernandes might play the crucial role in this story.

Jack Grealish, Price: Ā£6.4, TSB: 21.4%

One player who has caught a lot of eye this season has Villaā€™s Grealish. He has led them quite remarkably from the front as they still have a chance to stay in the top-tier. He looks like a must-own for GW30+ as Aston Villa have a Double Gameweek for GW30+ facing Sheffield and Chelsea.

Jack Grealish Stats

  • Seven goals and seven assists this season.
  • Fourth most chances created among midfielders this season(69).

Mason Mount, Price:Ā£6.2, TSB: 15.4%

After an impressive start to his debut season Mount has definitely hit a rough patch. But his performance has been really impressive in the closed door games. He definitely needed break to rejuvenate. He has managed to score 6 goals and provide 5 assists. With the injury returns he could really comeback strong and punish everyone.
