Two years ago, I was at Selhurst Park watching Palace vs Bournemouth on the final day of the Premier League season. Both teams were safe in mid-table and ‘on the beach’. A ‘boring’ Crystal Palace against an ‘out of form’ Bournemouth side with neither team anything to play for left me worried about a dull game of football. 90 minutes later I had seen 8 goals, some brilliant attacking play, and a game to remember.
