FPL DGW27 Players to Target
Before going into the players to target let’s quickly have a look at the xG and xGA tables home and away this season especially given the fact that Brentford play both away from home whereas Brighton play one home and one away game in FPL DGW27.

Brentford
In the upcoming double gameweek, Brentford plays Everton(A) and Southampton(A). Currently 9th in the table and unbeaten in their last twelve games, Brentford will be playing against two teams in the relegation zone. They will look to carry on this fine form against two teams under the new management. Everton currently has Minutes per expected goal conceded (xGC) of 62 under Sean Dyche, while Southampton has 66.4.
Here are some of the players you should target from Brentford starting FPL DGW27:
Ivan Toney
Ivan Toney currently has the 3rd highest number of goals in the premier league, outscored only by Erling Haaland and Harry Kane. Toney has scored 15 goals and 3 assists this season. He has also been involved in 45% of all the goals scored by Brentford. 2,94,406 have already bought him into their squads and it is clear to see why.
He has an xG of around 0.62 per 90 and averages 19.9 touches in the final third. He also averages around 5.25 touches in the penalty box, hence his 13 goals from inside the box. He is also a penalty specialist, scoring 5 from 5 this season.
In the Premier League, he has a penalty record of 10/10 with only Yaya Toure(11/11) having a better penalty record than him in PL history. In his career, he has taken 22 penalties and scored all of them!
He should be on your transfer shortlists!

David Raya
The next player on this team to target is the Spanish goalkeeper David Raya. He is currently leading in saves having made 103 of them and has kept eight clean sheets this season. He is also the second-highest-scoring goalkeeper in FPL and is joint top highest for bonus points too.
Brentford have easy games in this upcoming double gameweek and Raya can be expected to keep a clean sheet or two.

Rico Henry
Our third player to target from Brentford is Rico Henry. In 23 appearances, Rico Henry has scored three goals (joint most goals by an FPL defender) and assisted one. Brentford usually deploy the 4-3-3 formation, but have also used the 3-5-2, especially against tougher teams. When using the latter, Henry has played as a wing-back, which makes him an interesting option to have in your team.
He has created the most chances amongst the Brentford defenders with fourteen and is priced at just 4.5 million, he is a great player to have on your team.
Honourable Mentions: Ben Mee, Ethan Pinnock, Bryan Mbeumo, Hickey.
Hickey could also be a differential option if you’re considering a Brentford defender.
Brighton
In the upcoming double gameweek, Brighton plays Leeds United(A) and Crystal Palace(H). Currently 8th in the table, Brighton would want to continue building on this season and will look to carry on this fine form.
These are some of the players you can target from Brighton Starting FPL DGW27:
Kaoru Mitoma
Ever since Mitoma has broken into the Brighton first team, he has been a threat to be dealt with. In the 11 appearances from gameweek 14 onwards, Mitoma has scored six goals, while assisting a further three.
He has an xG of around 0.25 per 90 and averages 32.79 touches in the final third. He also averages around 7 touches in the penalty box, hence why 5 out of his six goals have come from inside the box. He is also a very good finisher, scoring from 30% of his shots. Only Bentancur and Haaland have better conversion rates in the same time period.
A detailed look at March vs Mitoma vs Mac Allister Ahead of FPL DGW27:
All the detailed stats, matchups, and predicted points covered in this blog below, do check it out.
Alexis Mac Allister
With Adam Lallana injured, De Zerbi has been using Alexis Mac Allister in a more advanced role. He recently got a goal and assists against West Ham too. He is currently on six goals and one assist for the season.
He has an xG of around 0.36 per 90 and averages 18.96 touches in the final third. He also averages around 1.46 touches in the penalty box and has created 23 chances and 2 big chances. He also takes penalties sometimes hence making him more of an exciting choice in this new role of his.

Solly March
Our third option from Brighton is another midfielder, Solly March. While unlucky to not score or assist against West Ham, March stood out as an exciting option. He currently has five goals and six assists to his name this season.
He has an xG of around 0.25 per 90 and averages 34.5 touches in the final third. He also averages around 4.65 touches in the penalty box and has created 37 chances and 12 big chances! He is also on set-piece duty from time to time, adding to his allure.
Is March on your shortlist?

Pervis Estupiñán
Our last option from Brighton is their left back, Pervis Estupiñán. He currently has five assists to his name and will look to build on it in the upcoming double gameweek. He has also helped Brighton keep five clean sheets.
He currently averages 23.48 touches in the final third and averages 2.26 touches in the penalty box. He has also created 25 chances and 4 big chances this season. Priced at just 4.8 million with a low ownership of 9.2%, Estupiñán can be a real differential in the upcoming double gameweek.
Will you look to buy him for your team?
Honourable Mentions: Jason Steele, Pascal Gross, Evan Ferguson, and Danny Welbeck.
We hope this article helped at least some of you with the upcoming double gameweek!
