All Premier League Teams Predicted GW20 Lineups
Arsenal
Mikel Arteta had the same line-up against Newcastle as they had in their 4-2 win against Brighton. The match ended up being a goalless fight, as the in-form Newcastle United were able to keep the league leaders on a leash. Arsenal seems pretty fixed on their current line-up and are expected to continue with the same against Spurs.

Arsenal PC/Injury Update:
Gabriel Jesus and Reiss Nelson are still ruled out due to injury. Emile Smith Rowe is back from his injury, coming in as a substitute against Oxford United in the FA Cup. Here are Arteta’s comments ahead of the NLD(via Arsenal website)
Mikel Arteta believes that Gabriel Jesus’ recovery from his knee injury is going well, however doesn’t expect his striker to be back in action in the near future.
“He’s working really hard. He’s in the right place in his recovery regarding the time that we set for him, but he’s still a bit far [away] to be back.
Saka fine after limping off against Oxford united in the FA Cup game.
Aston Villa
Emery made one change to Villa’s line-up after their massive 2-0 win against Spurs. Matty Cash started ahead of John McGinn (injury concerns). In GW19, they drew against Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Ings scoring their only goal, coming off the bench. Martinez was back in the eleven.

Aston Villa PC/Injury Update:
Matty Cash is doubtful for the game against Leeds after picking up a knock in the FA Cup. John McGinn remains sidelined while Diego Carlos is “a month or two” away from a return.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth made two changes to their squad going into GW19. Mepham came in for Zemura, pushing Kelly to left-back. Billing started as a striker, along with Solanke, and Christie came in for Moore.

Bournemouth PC/Injury Update:
Adam Smith is definitely out through suspension, while Murara Neto, David Brooks, Marcus Tavernier, Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas have all been sidelined of late and may be among the names O’Neil alluded to above.
Moreover, Gary O’Neil gave vague updates on the presser, saying that they are going to make a couple of late calls.
Brighton
Brighton saw a lot of changes in their squad on their trip to Goodison Park. Trossard sat on the bench vs Everton and was entirely missing in the FA Cup game against Middlesbrough. Veltman was seen starting ahead of Lamptey at the Left-Back position. Lallana and Gilmour also started the match on Bench, with Sarmiento and Caicedo starting ahead of them. Mac Allister is also back in Brighton colors scoring two goals in the FA Cup game.

Brighton PC/Injury Update:
Leandro Trossard won’t be considered for selection for tomorrow’s game, with boss Roberto De Zerbi questioning the Belgian’s attitude after being omitted for the FA Cup game at Middlesbrough last weekend.
Brentford
Thomas Frank made two changes to their squad in their whopping 3-1 win against Liverpool. Wissa came in for the injured Ivan Toney, and Janelt started ahead of Dasilva from their 2-0 win against West Ham.
Brentford are in dominating form right now and will play more or less an unchanged squad against Bournemouth.
Ajer was also back for Brentford in the FA Cup game against West Ham and Toney is not far away from returning.

Thomas Frank in his press conference:
“Ivan is fit and available and will start tomorrow, so I just named one out of 11,”
“[Shandon] Baptiste is in a good place,” he continued, “he’s trained fully for a week and will hopefully be ready for selection soon.
“[Aaron] Hickey is also training fully and will play for the B team tonight [Friday]. He’s progressing, but he’s not ready for tomorrow.
“[Frank] Onyeka is still a few weeks from potentially being involved in the squad.
“Pontus Jansson is progressing but unfortunately he’s not available yet.”
Chelsea
Chelsea unexpectedly saw a tide of injuries coming their way in their match against Manchester City. Mason Mount was not in the squad for the match. Sterling was also subbed off early on in the match. Jorginho was also not in the squad. Mount however returned from the injury in the FA Cup game also against Man City.

Chelsea PC/Injury Update:
James, Kante, Pulisic, Mendy, Ben Chilwell, Broja, Loftus Cheek, Kante, and Fofana are surely ruled out. There is no timescale on how long Sterling will be out after suffering a hamstring injury vs Man City. (More on Chelsea injuries here via Football.london on 10/01/23)
Joao Felix was sent off in their loss against Fulham and will now be suspended for three games.
Crystal Palace
There were no changes to Crystal Palace’s squad in their loss against Spurs. Viera is expected to go with the same line-up against United with only one direct change as Mitchell should be back after his 3-game suspension.

Patrick Vieira added that “everybody from the last game has trained all week”. There don’t seem to be any fresh injury concerns for the Eagles, who welcome Tyrick Mitchell back from a three-match ban.
Everton
As expected, Lampard reverted their lineup back to a 4-2-3-1 against Brighton, with Mcneil back in the squad. Davies also got a start ahead of Onana. As they go on to face Southampton, they should stick to this formation only.

Everton Press Conference Updates:
Nathan Patterson will be out for around six weeks with a medial knee ligament injury.
James Garner, Andros Townsend, Michael Keane, and Nathan Patterson are all out injured. Alex Iwobi who was predicted to be out for three weeks has responded well to treatment and a late call will be taken on his availability according to Lampard
Fulham
Marco Silva made one change to their squad with Adarabioyo starting ahead of Diop. However, after scoring their only goal, Mitrovic picked up a yellow card leading to his one-match ban against Chelsea.
Mitrovic should be back for his GW20 fixture against Newcastle. Robinson is suspended for the game which means Kurzawa will take his spot at LB.

Fulham PC/Injury Update:
Marco Silva updated that Aleksandar Mitrović is available once again, following suspension. While Antonee Robinson is suspended.
Leeds United
Leeds went in with a few changes in their 2-2 draw against West Ham. Summerville and Roca started ahead of Harrison and Forshaw. The remaining squad was the same as the previous week’s.

Leeds United PC/Injury Update:
Patrick Bamford has returned to training and will be in the squad to face Aston Villa. Luis Sinisterra is not yet ready to return, while Crysencio Summerville has been ruled out for a month with an ankle injury.
Leicester City
Due to Daka’s injury, Vardy was back in the starting eleven along with Tielemans. Maddison continues to miss out due to his knee injury. Daka is however back from injury and should start.

Leicester City PC/Injury News:
“He’s progressing well but he won’t be available for the game,” Rodgers said of Maddison’s condition. “He’s still with the medical team.
“[Dewsbury-Hall] is not back [in training] yet. He won’t be training tomorrow (Friday), so it’ll be sometime next week.”
Praet has been recovering from an issue with his side, suffered in the Boxing Day loss to Newcastle. Pérez, meanwhile, picked up a knock against his former side earlier this week.
Discussing Praet, Rodgers said: “He’s back in training with the squad and that was his first day this morning, so he looked fine. We’ll see later how he is after the session and how he feels, but it’s good to have him back.
“Ayoze, we’ll have to keep an eye on him after game the other night, so we’ll see where he’s at tomorrow.”
Liverpool
Liverpool’s centre back, Van Dijk suffered a hamstring injury and had to come off at half time in their loss against Brentford. Going into the match, Klopp made three changes with Konate in place of Matip, and Fabinho coming in for Henderson.
Liverpool should go ahead with a similar lineup with Matip replacing Van Dijk against Brighton in GW20.

Jurgen Klopp on Darwin Nunez: “If he cannot train today, then yes, that would rule him out. So we are waiting for more information. It’s not a major one but it has still kept him out of training. So we have to wait for that.”
James Milner has returned to training while Roberto Firmino is still out.
Manchester City
Cancelo was seen back in the eleven against Chelsea. Pep also switched to a 3-2-4-1, with Haaland up front. Mahrez scored the only goal in their win.

Manchester United PC/Injury Update:
Pep Guardiola on Mahrez: “The quality of Riyad is everything. He loves to play football, he helped us to play the game,” Mahrez also opened the scoring in their FA Cup tie, thereby impressing Pep.
Guardiola says, “He is not ready”. John Stones will not be available to face Manchester United in GW20.
PEP (On Phillips) He’s always ready. He needed a little bit of time but he’s ready. We have to see (if he will start) but he’s intelligent. Normally a holding midfielder. He has an incredible work ethic.
Manchester United
Ten Haag rotated a few players in this Manchester United side with Lindelof, Van De Beek getting a start. Malacia was on the bench, causing Luke Shaw to shift to left-back, where he also ended up getting a goal.
They should proceed with the classic 4-2-3-1 formation ahead of Gameweek 20 in the Manchester Derby.

Manchester United PC/Injury Update:
Diogo Dalot is unavailable for the Manchester derby, while Anthony Martial will be assessed for a small leg injury that has affected his ability to train this week. Weghorst will not be signed in time for the derby and Donny Van de Beek has been ruled out of the season.
Newcastle United
Newcastle only saw one change to their squad with Wilson starting ahead of Chris Wood. This squad should be continued for next game week also.

Nottingham Forest
Steve Cooper finally seems to have settled on a first 11 as he made no change after their draw against Chelsea, and clinched a win against Southampton. They have been putting up decent performances with this squad.

Willy Boly limped out of Wednesday’s cup win over Wolves, while Taiwo Awoniyi (muscle fatigue) and Neco Williams (facial injury) missed the game altogether. Cooper had previously said he was hopeful of having Awoniyi back for this one.
“I don’t know how serious it is, but his ankle is full of ice now,” Cooper said of Boly. “We’ll keep our fingers crossed on that one.
“Taiwo didn’t make it for this one. We’re working away with him for the weekend. We’ve got our fingers crossed on that one.
Southampton
Jones made quite a few changes to his squad after their defeat against Fulham. They switched to a
3-1-4-2 formation with Maitland-Niles on the bench, and Mara starting up front along with Che Adams. New signing Orsic could also make his full debut for Southampton.

Southampton PC/Injury Update:
Stuart Armstrong, Armel Bella-Kotchap, Juan Larios and Tino Livramento are still absent but Alex McCarthy and Theo Walcott could return this weekend.
“Alex and Theo are much closer, so we’ve got a big decision to make with those. Armel is a timescale of 7-10 days, and we won’t rush him because of the trickiness, not the gravity, but the trickiness of the injury. And it’s the same with one or two others who are out. New signing Charly Alcaraz may also feature.
Spurs
After a disappointing result against Villa, Spurs managed to pull off an important win against Palace, where Kane scored a brace. There were two changes in the squad with Skipp and Dier starting ahead of Bissouma and Ben Davies.

Conte on Spurs team news: “The news for sure the situation is going to improve, especially for Deki, for Kulusevski. He had training session in the last few days with us. He’s going to be ready to play. About Richy and Rodrigo, both situations are improving.
“I think in this moment Deki is much more ready to play and especially don’t take risks. For us, it is important to have patience ahead of this period and not to risk accelerating and lose them for a long period. We will see.
“We have another training session tomorrow to monitor the situation with Rodrigo and Richy.”
West Ham
After West Ham’s three-at-the-back formation didn’t work, Moyes went back to a 4-3-3 against Leeds. There were a few changes to the squad, with Fornals and Soucek starting. Cresswell started the game on the bench. Interestingly against Brentford in the FA Cup Moyes went back to 3 at the back, it remains to be seen if it will be 3 at the back against Wolves.
