With the confirmation of Double Gameweeks for Man United, Crystal Palace, Man City and Tottenham, it is crucial that we target the best fixtures and players. In this article we will analyse the FPL DGW20 Bookmakers Odds to draw some trends to help us pick out players with haul potential. A lot can be drawn from the Bookmakers predictions and we will perform the analysis on a team level as well as a player level.

Teams Predicted To Score in DGW20
Man City
Being one of the teams with a Double Gameweek in GW20, most of us would be looking to bring in players from City, and the Bookies agree that this is the right move. City are 90% likely to score against Spurs (A) and 83% likely to score against Man Utd (H). Mega hauls seem to be in store for City attackers so our focus later on will be which ones to go for.

Newcastle & Chelsea
The inspired revival of Newcastle this season rages on and the Bookies have them at 87% to wipe out Fulham’s cleansheet. With the firepower in Newcastle’s attack, it is hard to see Fulham keeping them out, and we could see the likes of Wilson, Almiron and Joelinton rack up returns yet again.
Chelsea have offered precious little since the restart and their 87% likelihood of scoring against Palace comes down to how poor Palace have been defensively. They most recently shipped 4 goals at home to Spurs and this time out it does not look good for them either, as they visit Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Brentford & Liverpool
The injury to Ivan Toney did not phase Brentford who breezed to a 3-1 victory against Liverpool at the Brentford Community Stadium. This time they face Bournemouth who have been leaking in goals for free and are on a run of 3 straight defeats since the restart. All eyes on Mbuemo and Wissa who have been in and amongst the goals in Toney’s absence.
Liverpool face Brighton at Anfield for GW20 and the Bookies have them at 84% to score against Brighton. The Seagulls have not kept a clean sheet since GW13 and they are set to concede again this weekend. The introduction of Gakpo to Liverpool’s attack will add a different element to their game and could bode well for Nunez and Salah owners who have kept the faith.

Teams Predicted To Keep Cleansheets in DGW20
Man City, Brentford & Newcastle
Sitting at 40% projections to keep Cleansheets, defenders from these 3 teams are the favourites to bank those Cleansheet points. Trippier looks set to continue to tick along, Ben Mee who has found his way into 6.4% of FPL Teams could be staring at his second cleansheet after the restart and as for City, things get a little trickier. Pep has been tinkering at the back since the restart and that has involved him playing a different backline every outing so far. Picking the right defensive asset could prove vital as City are 40% and 31% to keep a cleansheet in their respective DGW20 games.
Chelsea
Another team that the bookies have given a high chance of keeping a Cleansheet is Chelsea. With a 39% chance to keep a Cleansheet against Palace, Chelsea defensive assets that we currently have due to the double in Gameweek 19 could be held. Chelsea have not looked the best at the back, but playing at home against a Palace side that have struggled since the restart, the bookies seem to fancy the Blues keeping Palace out.

Players With Haul Potential for DGW20
Haaland, Foden, Mahrez & KDB
The Man City attackers all make the Top 10 for the Anytime Scorer Odds and it’s no surprise that the bookies back them heavily to return in this Double Gameweek. Erling Haaland tops the table with a whooping 79% chance of scoring and he will no doubt be a very popular captain pick. The thought of Triple Captaining Haaland has been floating around the FPL Community since the announcement of DGW20, and the odds seem to justify that decision to a certain extent.
As for the other City attackers, Foden sits at 46%, Mahrez at 40% and KDB at 38%. Pep has been experimenting heavily with his starting 11 picks and though Foden and Mahrez rank higher than KDB in this metric, his minutes are arguably the most secure of the 3. If Foden and Mahrez had better xMins, going for them over KDB would be ideal given their style of play. However, the risk of them being benched for either of the DGW20 games is incredibly high, and we could be forced into going for KDB as the other City attacker. Should we decide to punt on Foden or Mahrez, we have to accept the risks that come along with it.

Kane & Zaha
It’s no surprise to see the Spurs talisman take second spot on the Anytime Scorer Odds and at 60%, bookies back Mr Consistency to deliver once again. Kane’s 15 goals and 4 assists in 18 games this season have been sorely overlooked because of the meteoric numbers Haaland has been putting up. In his own right, Kane has been ticking along really nicely, delivering against strong and weak opponents alike. Though DGW20 may not be the best match up for Spurs, Kane can deliver with even a sniff of a chance. The bookies back him strongly to put the ball at the back of the net for at least one of his games and you wouldn’t put it past Kane to do it.
A somewhat differential inclusion in this metric, Zaha takes third spot. Palace have been largely uninspiring since the restart and you could do better than to bring Zaha in. However, for those who already have him, it would be wise to hold him and give him a chance to repay your trust in him. The bookies have given Zaha a 47% chance to score in DGW20, so now could very well be the chance to cash in on those returns.
