First things first, we wouldn’t recommend using Wildcard Chip in GW20 due to the Bigger Double and Blank Gameweeks coming up later in the season. But if your team is in an absolute mess, requires an immediate big fix and you plan to cover the Doubles later in the season with other chips- Wildcard could be a decent strategy in GW20. Remember there is no right or wrong in FPL. - Triple City, Triple Arsenal, Double United, Double Newcastle– Covering all the in-form top teams with good fixtures
- 6 Double Gameweek 20 players- Haaland, De Bruyne, Stones, Rashford, Shaw, Kane
- 6 Double Gameweek 23 players- Haaland, De Bruyne, Stones, Martinelli, Odegaard, White
- United have a confirmed Double in GW20 & a probable double in GW22. So one United spot is kept open. Bruno, Martial, Dalot are all good options
- Wilson can be Martial/Nketiah for the Doubles
- Kane- Mr. Consistent. 19 returns from 18 games blanking only 4 times
- No Salah/Nunez is a slight risk but you can attack the Double Gameweeks well with this
- Mitoma is a great Budget pick in Midfield– Over the last 6 matches, Mitoma is second for Big chances among Midfielders.
Injury Update: Stones is injured and ruled out of the manchester derby, Akanji/Laporte are good short-term options to consider from the Man city defence instead of Stones. Botman is also a great option to double on Newcastle’s defence.
