The UCL Campaign is only a few days away, the quest for being crowned Europe’s finest is upon us and so is the UCL Fantasy game for the 22/23 season. Today we will be discussing how to use the Limitless Chip in the game, which is one of the 2 chips provided and dare I say it, the most useful!

Introduction to the limitless chip in UCL Fantasy

• You have the opportunity to select your ideal team through Limitless for just one gameday. When you play it, there are no spending limits on the number of free transfers you can make for that particular matchday. Your squad will resume its previous configuration following the conclusion of the matchday if you used a Limitless chip.
• When playing Limitless, the standard regulations for automatic substitutions, manual substitutions, captain changes, formation restrictions, and the number of players you can select from one team still apply.
• When you play Limitless after making transfers in advance of a matchday, all of your prior transfers and any point deductions are undone.
• Select “Activate Limitless” to start playing your Limitless, and then confirm the transfer moves you want to make. Your modifications take effect as soon as you save your transfers.
• With the exception of Matchday 1 and Matchday 7 (the round of 16), this chip can only be used once and can be utilised at any time. It cannot be cancelled after it has been activated.

Difference between Limitless Chip and Free Hit in FPL

The Free Hit Chip in FPL allows managers almost the same level of benefits like the limitless
chip in UCL Fantasy except Budget constraints. When using the Free Hit, you have to create a squad for one match week only within the total value your team has generated. Whereas the Limitless chip allows you a dream squad with NO Restrictions at all!

When to use the Limitless Chip during the 2022/23 UCL Fantasy Season

The best time to use this chip is somewhere between Matchweeks 2-6 because there is a lot of
potential to get mega hauls in those gameweeks. This is because you can’t use it in the first week + the knockout stages of the competition generally throws up cagey affairs in addition to being unpredictable, so there is not much scope there for points in our opinion.

Matchday 2 Fixtures:

Limitless could be played in MD2 with PSG playing Juventus in MD1 but play Maccabi Haifa F.C in MD2. Similarly, Barcelona play Bayern in MD2 so you potentially remove their assets for MD2 using limitless.

• Maximum Points Potential: Group stages are kind of predictable more often than not. So
• It makes it easier to identify the biggest points gaining fixture
