Welcome to our FPL GW34 Scout Picks blog. Our fantastic scout @FPLDaggaFC (Do follow him on Twitter) is back with his Scout picks for Gameweek 34, as always our Scout picks are backed up by eye test, stats, and analysis.

Last season our scout picks won 21.5 vs 15.5 against the Official FPL Scout picks. This season the score is 16.5-16.5 heading into GW34 with the scores level!

FPL GW34 Scout Picks

FPL GW34 Scout Picks – Goalkeeper

Henderson takes the gloves in our GW34 Scout Selection with a Home Double vs West Ham and Newcastle. He is coming on the back off a 9 pointer vs Liverpool in GW33 courtesy a clean sheet, 5 saves and 2 Bonus Points.

Henderson has made 18 saves from the last 4 matches– 4th Highest among all the GKs during this time. Even if Henderson and Palace manage to keep one cleansheet, it is highly likely that Henderson returns with a Double Digit haul.

FPL GW34 Scout Picks – Defenders

The defense is spearheaded by Arsenal double defense of Gabriel and Saliba. Arsenal are arguably the Best Defensive side in the league. Arsenal have the least xGC(22.69) in the league this season. To put things into context, Manchester City are ranked second with a xGC of 30.32 with almost a difference of 8.0 xGC between 1st and 2nd. We have gone with a Double Arsenal defense over due to the Higher Expected minutes and less chances of center backs getting a rest.

Arsenal Defensive Rank this season:

• xGC- 1st
• Big Chances Conceded- 1st
• xCS- 1st
• Clean Sheets- 1st

Matchup alert: Wolves and Chelsea are ranked 15th and 18th for Shots conceded from Set pieces this season. We all know how dangerous Saliba and Gabriel are on set pieces and they would like to most of this matchup.

Virgil Van Dijk completes the defense with a Double Gameweek vs Fulham(A), Everton(A). Liverpool are one of the teams with the best fixtures for the DGW and we can say that VVD is nailed to play 180 minutes as he has played 90 minutes every game since GW6.

They face Everton and Fulham in DGW34. Everton have been in poor scoring goal off late with just 10 goals from the last 15 games- Ranking 20th in the League for Goals scored. Fulham are also ranked 15th for Goals scored during this time. This increases the clean sheet odds for Liverpool in GW34 and makes him a great option.

FPL GW34 Scout Picks – Midfielders

Salah takes up the arm-band in our Scout team as he comfortably tops the FPL GW34 Captaincy Metrics comfortably. Salah has not bad a phenomenal season by his own standard but still has 17 goals, 9 assists in the league. Among the players who have a Double Gameweek in GW34, Salah Tops the numbers among all players for Big Chances/90, Shots inside the Box and xG/90.

Salah Per 90 Stats Since GW20(Rank among players Double in GW34):

Minimum 450 minutes

• Shots inside the Box- 4.91(1st)
• Big Chances- 2.0(1st)
• xG- 1.21(1st)
• Big Chances created- 1.09(1st)

Salah also has a good record vs these teams:

• 4 goals, 1 assist in 7 games vs Fulham
• 7 goals, 1 assists in 10 games vs Everton including 3 goals in last 2 matches.

Luis Diaz completes the Liverpool double up attack as he is good form with 5 goals, 4 assists from the last 11 games averaging more than 6 points/game. Luis Diaz is ranked 3rd for xG, 3rd for Big Chances, 2nd for Shots in the league during this time. Liverpool’s opponents form are not great as Everton have won only once in the last 15 games as well.

Saka is a no-brainer pick with the form he is in and considering the good Double Gameweek he has. Talisman, Key Player, On Penalties for a title chasing team- It is as good as it gets. Saka has 8 goals, 2 assists, 83 points from the last 10 matches averaging 8.3 points/game. Saka also loves playing Wolves as he also scored in his last 2 matches vs Wolves.

Eze is right up there as one of the Top Midfield Picks for DGW34 with a Home Double vs Newcastle and West Ham. Despite having taken only one penalty this season, Eze is right up there among the elite midfielders for xGI/90 mins this season. He should one of your Top Transfer Targets for DGW34 if you don’t own him yet.

• Salah- 1.02
• Palmer- 0.89
• Saka- 0.81
• Mbeumo- 0.78
• Eze- 0.61
• Luis Diaz- 0.59
• Son- 0.58

Brereton Diaz has registered 4 goals and 1 assist in 8 appearances since making his debut. In this time, he is top for shots, shots in the box, big chances, and points among Sheffield United players. FPL GW34 Scout Picks – Forwards

Dominic Solanke leads the forward line with 2 away fixtures vs Villa and Wolves. Solanke has scored 17 goals from 32 appearances this season with only Haaland(20), Palmer(20) and Watkins(19) having more goals in the league. He has been a consistent goal scorer in the league this season.

Matchup alert:

• Wolves are ranked 18th for Big chances Conceded/90, 16th for xGC/90 and 14th for Goals conceded at Home this season
• Aston Villa have conceded 30 Big chances since GW24- 5th Highest among all the teams in the league.

Mateta rounds up the GW34 Scout Selection as he is in decent form with 4 goals, 1 assist from last 8 matches. He will be up against West Ham and Newcastle at home and these two sides do not have a great defensive form away from home as seen below.
