Welcome to FPL PAZ’s FPL GW30 Transfer Targets and Watchlist, where I highlight the THREE best transfer targets in each position for the upcoming Gameweeks. The goal is to give managers a watchlist for both the immediate Gameweek and future Gameweeks. All picks are analyzed with stats, fixtures, and current form. LET’S GET INTO IT:

FPL GW30 Transfer Targets

Rayan Aït-Nouri WOL £4.5

Projected Points GW30-35: 19.6

With a massive 10-pointer in his last time out, Rayan Aït Nouri is catching the eye of managers going into GW30. Aït Nouri has started 6 games in a row and is sometimes playing so high up the pitch that he looks like a winger.

Moving forward, I think whether it is on wildcard or through free transfers, Aït-Nouri is one defender I would have on my watchlist because of his explosiveness and upcoming fixtures. Aït-Nouri is posting a great 0.18 xGI per 90 mins, which is great for a defender at that price. Lastly, Wolves have the 3^rd easiest fixtures over the next 5 GWs, which includes a DGW in GW34, giving Aït-Nouri a higher floor and ceiling. A great budget-enabling defender, the Aït Nouri hype is on.

Ait Nouri has 4 Big Chance involvements(2 Big Chances and 2 Big Chances created) from the last 5 games.
Only Doughty and Robertson have created more than Ait Nouri among Defenders since GW24. It is to be noted that Doughty has played 2 games more than Ait Nouri during this period.

Ait Nouri also rotates well with other budget defenders till the end of the season as highlighted in our “Best Budget Defender Rotation till the end of the season“. Do check it out!

Mohamed Salah LIV £13.1

Projected Points GW30-35: 44.8

The FPL King is back, and with not that many managers being able to get him this GW, he is fairly on my watchlist as he will still be a differential in GW30. That will all be done in GW31 when everyone transfers him in for Sheffield United, but as of right now, it will be hard for managers to get to Salah without hits. Salah’s explosiveness speaks for itself, and this Liverpool side has amazing upcoming fixtures that make Salah a priority transfer in the next few GWs. Over the next 6 GWS, Liverpool have the 5^th easiest fixtures for attackers which includes a great DGW34 against Fulham and Everton.

Managers seeking to climb rank should be looking at Salah as a captain option this GW, as he faces a Brighton side that tends to leak goals. With great fixtures, explosiveness, and a great captaincy option, The King of FPL is firmly on my watchlist.

Darwin Nunez LIV £7.5

Projected Points GW30-35: 31.1

With Liverpool’s fixtures turning for the better, many managers are looking to get into their attack. The logical choice is Darwin Nunez, as we have plenty of midfield options right now, and our forward options are more limited. Darwin is a great pick going forward as he has the ceiling necessary to pay off in a massive rank rise, as shown by his 0.99 xGI per 90 minutes. Darwin also has great upcoming fixtures, with the 5^th best-attacking fixtures up until GW35.

Darwin – Attack Rank among Forwards this season(Per 90 Stats):

Shots- 1st
Shots on Target- 1st
Big Chances- 2nd
xGI- 2nd
Goal Involvements- 2nd

The only downside of Darwin is that he is on 8 yellow cards, so he needs to avoid 2 yellows in his next 4 matches to avoid a 2 match suspension. Nonetheless, Darwin’s amazing underlying stats make him worth the risk, especially when Liverpool has such amazing fixtures.
