FPL Gameweek 32 is upon us soon with an early Friday deadline. It’s a ‘reduced’ gameweek as it coincides with the FA Cup semi-finals meaning popular assets from Manchester City, Manchester United, Brighton and Chelsea will all be blanking. This looks like a good week to use a Free Hit chip considering the popularity of assets from the aforementioned clubs. That said, in the event that FPL managers want to navigate this week with transfers, the suggestions made here are keeping in mind this and upcoming GWs!

FPL Gameweek 32 Transfer Tips: Two Players to BUY
Gabriel Martinelli (6.9, MID, Arsenal)
The Brazilian winger has benefitted the most from the return to fitness of Gabriel Jesus and has arguably the best attacking fixture this week, up against a struggling Saints side. He’s now joint top for points for midfielders alongside Mo Salah (who was a ‘BUY’ suggestion last week and hence hasn’t been repeated here but is a strong buy option and captaincy contender this week). With only one blank since GW23, Martinelli is a great option from now for the entire season run, given Arsenal’s push for the title.

2. Alexander Isak (6.7, FWD, Newcastle United)
The classy Swede has started and played over 65 minutes in 5 of Newcastle’s last 6 league games including co-existing with Callum Wilson on the pitch for some of those. He’s Newcastle’s penalty taker and ‘talisman’ for goals when he’s on the pitch. He’s scored 5 in these 6 games averaging 1.02 goals per 90 minutes(2nd amongst forwards during the period) and comes up against a Spurs side who look devoid of confidence and conceded 3 to Bournemouth this past weekend.
Isak follows that with a run of Everton, Southampton, Arsenal, Leeds, and Leicester which looks very favorable from an attacking standpoint and Newcastle also have an upcoming fixture with Brighton still to be rescheduled hence a likely DGW before the season end(Expected to be added to DGW36). A nice differential.

FPL Gameweek 32 Transfer Tips: Two Players to HOLD
Pervis Estupinan (4.8, DEF, Brighton)
Estupinan blanks this week and managers might be tempted to sell the fullback this week in favour of a playing defender however I would exercise caution in that decision.
Brighton play Forest away, Wolves at home, and Everton at home in their next 4 fixtures including a double GW34, when they return to action and have 2 fixtures still to be rescheduled meaning they have 3 DGWs likely between GW34 and 38. (Confirmed & Likely FPL Double Gameweeks From FPL GW32)
Bruno Fernandes (9.5, MID, Manchester United)
Similar to Estupinan, Bruno has a blank this GW and is coming off the back of a run with no attacking returns in his last 6 league games. However, the underlying numbers show that Bruno has been quite unfortunate not to return across this run including notching over 0.65 xGI in his last 2 outings, respectively.
His strong underlying numbers coupled with the significant difference it makes to the team and his attacking freedom to have Casemiro and Eriksen back, Bruno is primed for returns and has a decent DGW34 on the horizon. Hold.

FPL Gameweek 32 Transfer Tips: Two Players to SELL
Ben Chilwell (5.9, DEF, Chelsea)
In general, I really like a fit Ben Chilwell especially when he’s playing left wing-back. However, Chelsea are in complete disarray at the moment. It seems like they can’t keep a clean sheet and they can’t score a goal. Their fixtures remaining are relatively difficult, especially from a defensive point of view and I’d find it hard to justify a ‘premium’ price outlay on a defender from Chelsea at this time, especially when Trent might be making one final push for FPL relevance this season. He blanks this GW and it’s a good time to sell.

Kai Havertz (7.4, FWD, Chelsea)
Havertz, again. There’s a case for eventually selling Barnes or even Toney but it didn’t make sense to make the recommendations in a reduced GW where transfers would be best used putting out a full XI. Having suggested Isak, with Haaland and Watkins in top form, Kane being as consistent as he is and Solanke producing the goods as the budget pick, it made sense to suggest selling a FWD that had seen lots of recent investment and is likely in a bunch of ‘active’ squads. Sell asap.
