All Premier League Teams Predicted GW14 Lineups

Arsenal

Arsenal’s lineup should once more remain unchanged, with the only small uncertainty being over Tomiyasu at left back but he seems to be favoured there at the moment.

Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)

Arsenal GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-3-3

Arsenal GW14 Predicted lineup:

Ramsdale

White – Saliba – Gabriel – Tomiyasu

Xhaka – Partey – Odegaard

Saka – Jesus – Martinelli

Arsenal PC/Injury News(28/10/22)

Gabriel Magalhaes limped down the tunnel at the end of the game. Looked to be grimacing in pain ~ @SamJDean

on Matt Turner’s absence:

Yesterday in training he had some discomfort in his groin. He tried this morning but he wasn’t well, so Aaron had to play.

on if Turner’s injury is serious:

I don’t know – we’ll have to assess him. It didn’t look a serious injury, no. via Arsenal website from Arteta post-match press conference vs PSV. There was no mention of Gabriel in the post-match press conference.

Aston Villa

There were a host of Villa changes after Gerrard’s departure with Ramsey, McGinn, and Bednarek all being dropped. Though Emery has taken charge since the 4-0 victory over Brentford, he’d be wise to persist with something very similar that what yielded them so much success on Sunday.

Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)

Aston Villa GW14 Predicted Formation

  • 4-3-1-2

Aston Villa GW14 Predicted Lineup:

Martinez

Cash – Mings – Konsa – Digne

Dendoncker – Bailey – Douglas Luiz

Buendia

Ings – Watkins

Aston Villa PC/Injury Update(28/10/22):

Aston Villa PC/Injury Update

Danks: “Lucas Digne has done a full week of training with the group so we’ll welcome him back into the squad. “Boubacar is much closer, he’s not with the team yet but he’s back on the grass.”

“After that, it’s very much like we were last week, one or two little knocks and niggles that we’re going to have to manage through today but, on the whole, really positive.”

Danks on the squad: “They know where they should be and they are really driven to keep pushing us.”

Bournemouth

Yet again, Bournemouth went into the match unchanged. However, they looked far better on Monday night when Zemura came on so he could gain his place back in the side.

Neto also went off injured so Travers should come in for him. Solanke was also off injured in the first half and his injury is not as serious according to Gary O’Neil. If he misses out Moore could replace him.

Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted all 11 starters correctly last week)

Bournemouth GW14 Predicted formation

  • 4-2-3-1

Bournemouth GW14 Predicted lineup:

Mark Travers

Zemura – Mepham – Sensei – Smith

Cook – Lerma

Christie – Billing- Tavernier

Bournemouth PC/Injury Update(27/10/22)

Solanke injury update

“Neto will be out, he has an issue with his hamstring. We’re not sure how long, but it won’t be short term.”

“Dom Solanke is a lot better than expected, so that’s good news and we’re hopeful.”

Brighton

Slightly surprisingly, Brighton went in unchanged for City and although they lost 3-1, they played reasonably well so the same may happen in GW14 against Chelsea.

Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)

Brighton GW14 Predicted formation

  • 3-4-2-1

Brighton GW14 Predicted lineup:

Sanchez

Veltman – Webster – Dunk

March MacAllister – Caicedo – Trossard

GrossLallana

 Welback

Brighton PC/Injury Update(28/10/22):

Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that Joel Veltman (calf) is a doubt but Kaoru Mitoma and Adam Lallana are back in training and should be available for selection.

Brentford

In what came as a bit of a surprise, Thomas Frank decided to stick with a back 3 for Villa and it didn’t go particularly well. That may mean he goes back to a back 4. Mee dropped out for the first time and given how much that effected them defensively, he should come straight back in.

Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)

Brentford GW13 Predicted formation:

  • 4-3-3

Brentford GW13 Predicted lineup:

Raya

Ajer – Pinnock – Mee – Henry

Janlet – Jensen Onyeka

Mbeumo – Toney – Wissa

Brentford PC/Injury Update(28/10/22)

Thomas Frank says it’s unlikely Christian Norgaard will be available for Brentford against Wolves tomorrow. “It’s going very well. But probably too early to involve him in the squad.” Norgaard has been out with an Achilles injury since August.

Thomas Frank says Keane Lewis-Potter is in a “much better position” in regards to his fitness and he will be involved in BrentfordFC’s squad for their match against Wolves tomorrow.

Chelsea

There were two things to take from Chelsea’s lineup against United. firstly, Koulibally was left out due to injury and Potter confirmed GW14 will be too early for him to return. Cucurella going off after 35 minutes also received plenty of headlines but that may have simply been a tactical switch rather than anything suggest that’ll be him out of the side longer term.

Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)

Chelsea GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 3-4-1-2

Chelsea GW14 Predicted lineup:

Kepa,

Chalobah – Thiago Silva – Cucurella

Azpi – Loftus Cheek – Jorginho – Chilwell

Mount

Sterling Aubameyang

Chelsea PC/Injury Update (28/10/22)

Potter on team news: “Pretty much the same as we were against Salzburg. Mateo Kovacic had a problem with his calf but it was just fatigue. Koulibaly is okay but no chance for tomorrow, maybe Wednesday.”

Crystal Palace

Doucoure being suspended was obviously a huge issue for Palace against Everton so him coming back in should improve them considerably.

Given the difficulty of the opponent, Olise will probably start instead of Ayew.

Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)

Crystal Palace GW14 Predicted Formation

  • 4-3-3

Crystal Palace GW14 Predicted lineup:

Guaita

Ward – Guehi – Andersen – Mitchell

Schulpp – Eze – Doucoure

OliseEdouard – Zaha

Crystal Palace PC/Injury Update(28/10/22):

No fresh injury concerns for Palace and Vieira with Doucoure back from his one-game suspension. Clyne, Richards, and McArthur are long-term absentees. Nathan Ferguson is back from a long injury break and is looking to build match fitness with the U21s.

Everton

Everton were unchanged again for Palace and it more than paid off so that should almost certainly remain the case for the weekend.

Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)

Everton GW14 Predicted formation

  • 4-3-2-1

Everton GW14 Predicted lineup

Pickford

Coleman- Tarkowski – Coady – Mykolenko

Onana – Iwobi – Gueye

Gordon – Gray

DCL

Everton Injury/PC Update(27/10/22):

Frank Lampard has confirmed Nathan Patterson is fit and will be involved in Everton’s matchday squad for the trip to Fulham this weekend.

“It’s a really good [selection] headache. It’s exactly what I wanted.

“Nathan has been really, really good this season until he got his unfortunate injury.

“That allowed Seamus to come in, find fitness and performance and I think that hit the peak last weekend against Palace and against Zaha, who is one of the hardest players to play against in that position.

“It’s a really healthy competition between two lads – one who has been here a long time and one who is coming through.

“They get on really well and I’m more than happy with the situation.”

Ben Godfrey (fractured fibula), Yerry Mina (calf) and Andros Townsend (ACL) will not be available for Everton.

Fulham

Silva made two changes for Leeds with Wilson coming in for Kebano and Tosin coming back in for Diop. Regular RB Tete is back but it remains to be seen if he’ll start from the beginning or if Reid will continue with Tete coming off the bench.

Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)

Fulham GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-2-3-1

Fulham GW14 Predicted lineup:

Leno

Reid – Ream – Diop – Robinson

Palhinha – H Reed

Kebano – Andreas – Willian

Mitrovic

Fulham PC/Injury Update(28/10/22)

Marco Silva On team news: “Not a big difference (from the last game), but Kenny Tete will be ready to be involved in the squad.”

Silva says Tete will be on the squad list. “He started at a good level.” Says theyre trying to avoid repeat injuries. “With Kenny they happen too often. The best thing we can do is keep them in the best condition we can.”

Silva says Mitrovic is performing in the same way as last season. “The numbers of Mitrovic are unbelievable. Since I joined he scored 52 goals in 57 games. What I want is to keep enjoying the moment with him, to keep improving. If we provide for him, he will keep scoring.”

Leeds United

Marsh made a forced change from the defeat against Leicester with Sam Greenwood replacing Adams who missed out due to a minor injury and it didn’t really have the desired effect as Leeds were once more opened up defensively.

Rodrigo also came in for Bamford and I’d expect him to now keep his place.

Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predict 8 starters correctly last week)

Leeds United GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-2-3-1

Leeds United GW14 Predicted lineup:

Leeds United Injury/PC Update(27/10/22)

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: “ Joe Gelhardt , Rodrigo, Luis Sinisterra, Liam Copper and Tyler Adams are all a little bit in question, we’ll see how the next 48 hours goes for all those players.”

Leicester City

Rogers made the changes we expected him to for Wolves, with Maddison and Daka coming in for Praet and Vardy. The team should remain the same for GW14.

Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted all 11 starters correctly last week)

Leicester City GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-4-2

Leicester City GW14 Predicted lineup:

Ward

Justin – Faes – Amartey – Castagne

Tielemans – Soumare – Dewsbury Hall

Maddison – Daka – Barnes

Leicester PC/Injury Update(27/10/22);

“In terms of the squad, we’ll monitor Jonny over the next few games,” manager Brendan Rodgers told the media on Thursday. “Wilfred Ndidi has been back training with the squad. The most important thing is he’s back training in the squad and he’s looked fine with the players.

“Availability is the important thing and thankfully he’s available. Marc Albrighton was obviously back last weekend. We’re all fine.”

Liverpool

Nunez was unavailable for Forest but he should be back for the clash for the clash with Leeds. Besides that, the team should be as expected. Jones wasn’t particularly impressive in his first start back so he will almost certainly drop out.

Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)

Liverpool GW14 Predicted formation

  • 4-3-3

Liverpool GW14 Predicted lineup:

Allison

TAA – Van Dijk – Gomez – Robertson

Fabinho – Thiago

Firmino

Salah – Nunez – Fabio Carvalho

Liverpool PC/Injury Update(28/10/22)

Jordan Henderson sustained at AFC Ajax in midweek will continue to be assessed, as Naby Keita, Joel Matip, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Arthur Melo remain sidelined.

“With Hendo, we have to wait a little bit.

“It’s a knock, he was a bit stiff yesterday, had only treatment yesterday. So we will see how he will be today. I expect him to be OK, to be honest.

“And Thiago is back. Naby not yet. Joel will not be back – he’s here training but rehab. You don’t have to ask about Diogo for a while and not for Luis for a while.”

Ibrahima Konate returned to the matchday squad for the victory in Amsterdam on Wednesday night.

“I would say the Ajax game, we didn’t have more subs, so we could take him with us,” Klopp explained. “But he was not really ready for this game – in a very serious situation, last five minutes maybe.

“So now we have to see. He’s a step closer, definitely, a few days more and he’s around now and is now available. How long? We will see but he’s available.”

Manchester City

Guardiola made a surprise change with Foden dropping out for Mahrez. You’d have to assume it was just a rest and he’ll come back in. Laporte also came in for Ake and that should be a more permanent change.

Man City PC/Injury Update (28/10/22)

Nothing concrete from Pep on Haaland.

Pep Guardiola: “If [Erling] Haaland doesn’t play, then [Julian] Alvarez is the natural first option to replace him. I don’t judge Julian on how many goals he has scored…” [via @IanCheeseman]

“Play 90 minutes every game and he [Julian Alvarez] will score goals, maybe not like Erling [Haaland], but he will score goals…” [via @alex_brotherton]

Manchester United

Ten Hag made a solitary change from the victory over Tottenham with Eriksen coming back in for Fred.

Varane went off with yet another injury so Lindelof will probably take his place.

Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)

Manchester United GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-2-3-1

Manchester United GW14 Predicted lineup:

Eriksen – Casemiro

Anthony – Bruno – Sancho

Man United PC/Injury Update(27/10/22)

Ten Hag says Martial is doing individual work back out on the grass but still uncertain if he’ll play before the World Cup.

“I hope,” Ten Hag said of Martial possibly returning within the next fortnight. “He’s making progress, he’s outside, he’s working there, he’s on the pitch and we’re waiting for his step back in team training.

Newcastle United

Eddie Howe made one change to the Newcastle side which beat Everton in midweek with Willock coming in for Murphy. That may have been more down to the opponent and Murphy could come back in for Villa.

Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)

Newcastle United GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-3-3

Newcastle United GW14 Predicted lineup:

Pope

Trippier Botman – Schar – Burn

Longstaff – Bruno Guimares – Joelinton

Almiron – Wilson – Murphy

Newcastle United PC/Injury Update(28/10/22):

Eddie Howe on Allan Saint-Maximin’s availability: “There’s a chance. We’ll see how training goes today. He’s made really good progress and I’m very pleased with how he’s attacked his rehab & the work he’s put in so there’s an opportunity to hopefully get him fit and available.”

Eddie Howe on Elliot Anderson: “He’s OK. He had a minor niggle [before Spurs] and it was nothing serious, so he’s back in the squad for this week.”

Eddie Howe on Jonjo Shelvey’s role before the World Cup: “He’s got real qualities we need. He has experience, he understands his position and he’s got that range of passing that the team clearly needs so he’s going to have a huge role to play.”

Eddie Howe on Callum Wilson: “He performed to a very high level physically. Everyone knows how we want to play and with that comes a big responsibility on the number nine to set us off in our off the ball plan. I thought he executed that very well as he always has done for me.”

“With the ball he has certain demands placed upon him as well and his all-round game is very good. His goal was an excellent one and it’s probably underestimated how good that finish was. I was very pleased with him.”

Nottingham Forest

Forest put in their best performance of the season as they beat Liverpool 1-0. As such, it’d be harsh for any of the players who started that game were dropped. Therefore, although Lodi is back fit, he may have to sit this one out.

Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)

Nottingham Forest GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 4-3-3

Nottingham Forest GW14 Predicted lineup

Henderson

Williams – Cook – McKenna – Aurier

Kouyate – Yates – Frueler

Lingard – Gibbs White – Awoniyi

Nottingham Forest PC/Injury Update:

“We haven’t picked up any new injuries from the last game or this week’s training. The boys who are out a little while are still going through the process, but no new news,” Cooper said.

“Lewis and Renan are back training. Lewis O’Brein has only come back in the past few days while Lodi was a substitute in the 1-0 win over Liverpool.

Cooper is still without long-term absentees Moussa Niakhate (hamstring), Omar Richards (hairline fracture of the leg) and Harry Toffolo (hamstring), while Jack Colback has recently been struggling with a back problem.

Southampton

Due to WalkerPeters being out for a while, Lyanco came in at right back and he gave a decent account for himself so can be expected to stay in the side.

A more surprising change was that of Adams dropping out for the first time in a while, but he should come back in for Palace.

Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)

Southampton GW14 Predicted formation

  • 4-2-3-1

Southampton GW14 Predicted lineup:

Diallo – Ward Prowse

Stuart Armstrong – Aribo – Adam Armstrong

Che Adams

Southampton PC/Injury Update(27/10/22)

“We’re hoping some players are coming back from injury,” confessed the boss. “Roméo today was, for the first time, back in the session.

“With Armel, he also looks good. It could be that he starts next week to train next week with the team. He wants to try from next week on, he could be an option for the Newcastle game maybe.”

It’s a disappointment for Kyle Walker-Peters, though, who is unlikely to see a return until after the international break.

“With Kyle it’s not that good, I think it could be he doesn’t make it to the last game against Liverpool, so we’ll see if it’s possible or not. Low chance, I think.

Tottenham

Conte made a couple of changes from the side that lost to Man United in midweek. Lenglet, Sanchez, and Sessegnon came in for Romero, Davies, and Perisic. Perisic was in all likelihood just rotation but Romero missing out was due to a minor injury complaint. Romero has a calf problem, while Pierre missed out against Newcastle as he’s been struggling with a thigh issue. The duo made their comeback against Sporting and should start this weekend as well.

At right wingback, Emerson is likely to start vs Marseille as a more defensive performance is needed with just 1 point needed to progress and Doherty to play Bournemouth.

Last week’s success rate: 7/11 (We predicted 7 starters correctly last week)

Spurs GW14 Predicted formation:

  • 3-4-3

Spurs GW14 Predicted lineup:

Lloris

Romero – Dier – Davies

Doherty – Bentancur – Bissouma – Hojbjerg – Sessegnon

Kane – Son

Spurs PC/Injury Update(28/10/22)

Antonio Conte has confirmed Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison are still out and will miss THFC’s trip to Bournemouth

West Ham

Due to Paqueta’s injury being a bit more serious than first hoped, Downes started once more and he gave a pretty good account for himself. The team for United could therefore remain the same as the one which beat Bournemouth. Bowen is an injury doubt after missing the UECL game due to an ankle injury and if he’s out Fornals/Antonio could come in. Summer signing Aguerd put in a top performance on his competitive debut for West Ham coming back from a injury he sustained in pre-season, he could take Johnson’s spot in the defense.

Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)

West Ham GW14 Predicted Formation

  • 4-2-3-1

West Ham GW14 Predicted lineup:

Bowen -Scamacca – Benrahama

West Ham PC/Injury Updates (28/10/22)

Moyes on Bowen

Moyes explained that Jarrod Bowen, who missed the midweek fixture against Silkeborg IF, has an ankle injury, but has been training on grass ahead of our trip to Manchester United.

“We need to see how Jarrod is,” explained Moyes. “We need to see if he can do many things. We need to see if he can twist and turn – all the other parts that come [with playing football].

Moyes on Paqueta

But Moyes confirmed the Hammers will be without Lucas Paquetá, who has been out of action since he picked up an injury in our 1-1 draw with Southampton.

“He is not available,” said Moyes. “He won’t be available until next week.”

Moyes on Aguerd

I was really pleased for Nayef. It was a good game for him to play in. There wasn’t a great deal of contact and we had a lot of the ball, and he’s a comfortable footballer.

“The physical side and the fitness are still to come a bit, and he’s got to get used to the Premier League. He needs a little bit of time to adapt, and we’ll give him that. I thought he did really well to play the best part of 75 minutes tonight.”

Wolves

After impressing in midweek, Hugo Bueno started at left-back again. However, the 4-0 defeat to Leicester could mean that Ait Nouri comes back in.

Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)

Steve Davis On team news: “Diego picked up a knock on Wednesday but we hope he’s OK. He trained today. Toti has started running this week but tomorrow will be too soon for him.” via @LiamKeen_Star

Raul Jiminez, Chiquinho, Sasa Kalajdzic, and Pedro Neto are all long-term absentees.

  1. Danks is in charge of the Villa game still, as Emery won’t be official before 1/11 due to paperwork.
Also, you’ve put Bailey as a CM in a 4-3-2-1?! Villa played a 4-2-3-1 at the weekend with Bailey as a LW.
