All Premier League Teams Predicted GW10 Lineups
Arsenal
Mikel Arteta continues to be one of the easier managers to predict when it comes to his starting 11. We can assume they’ll remain unchanged for Liverpool from the side that beat Tottenham at the weekend.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Arsenal GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Arsenal GW10 Predicted lineup:
Ramsdale
White – Saliba – Gabriel – Zinchenko
Xhaka – Partey – Odegaard
Saka – Jesus – Martinelli
Aston Villa
Villa’s injury worries got worse on the weekend. With Cash and Digne out for the Leeds, Augustinson, who replaced the latter, also went off with a muscular injury. Cash should be back for this week but both left backs will be out for the foreseeable. As such, Chambers, who missed Leeds as a precaution, may come in at left-back.
Buendia too could come in following a disappointing showing from Bailley(also nursing a minor muscle issue) and from the attack as a whole.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Aston Villa GW10 Predicted Formation
- 4-3-1-2
Aston Villa GW10 Predicted Lineup:
Martinez
Cash – Mings – Konsa – Chambers
Ramsey – McGinn – Luiz
Coutinho
Bunedia – Watkins
Aston Villa injury/PC update(06/10/22)
Ruled out: Lucas Digne and Ludwig Augustinsson are both unavailable with their respective injuries. Cash and Chambers are training, Bailey could be a doubt.

Bournemouth
Interim boss Gary ONeil changed things up a little, deciding to adopt a 442 against Brentford with Moore coming into the side to play alongside Solanke. However, the lack of attacking success this brought them may mean that he reverts to the 433 that has brought him a decent amount of success so far.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Bournemouth GW10 Predicted formation
- 4-2-3-1
Bournemouth GW10 Predicted lineup:
Neto
Smith – Mepham – Sensei – Zemura
Cook – Lerma
Christie – Billing- Tavernier
Solanke
Bournemouth injury/PC update(06/10/22)
Midfield duo Joe Rothwell and Ben Pearson have trained well with the team all week. Ryan Fredericks has been really promising on the grass and done some really good work. Junior is coming along as well, maybe not quite so far along as Ryan, Ben and Joe, but Junior’s made good strides. Club captain Kelly is still out for this week. Long-term absentee: David Brooks.
Brighton
An impressive performance against Liverpool should mean that the Brighton lineup remains the same for Tottenham.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)
Brighton GW10 Predicted formation
- 3-4-2-1
Brighton GW10 Predicted lineup:
Sanchez
Veltman – Webster – Dunk –
March – MacAllister – Caicedo – Estupinan
Gross – Trossard
Welbeck
Brentford
There were a couple of surprises in Brentford’s lineup on the weekend. Hickey was left out after playing three games for Scotland over the international break but he should come back in against Newcastle. Damsgaard also came in for his first Premier League start. By all accounts, he wasn’t particularly effective so Wissa may come in for him. Jansson also went off injured, so I’d expect him to be the one to make way for Hickey, with Ajer dropping into the centre of defence. Dasilva may also come in to bolster the midfield in place of Baptist.
Frank confirmed that Pinnock is now available, but he’s lacking match sharpness so he may not come in immediately.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
Brentford GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Brentford GW10 Predicted lineup:
Raya
Hickey – Ajer – Mee – Henry
Janlet – Jensen
Da Silva
Chelsea
Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Palace didn’t come without its difficulties. Thiago Silva in particular struggled and it wouldn’t surprise me if Koulibaly came in for him.
Elsewhere, Gallagher could come back in following his impressive cameo.. Graham Potter confirmed that the knee injury sustained by Wesley Fofana, though not as bad as feared, will keep him out for a month.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Chelsea GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Chelsea GW10 Predicted lineup:
Kepa,
Reece James – Silva – Koulibaly – Chilwell
Gallagher – Jorginho
Mount – Sterling – Havertz
Aubameyang
Crystal Palace
Viera opted for quite an attacking lineup against Chelsea, maybe partly influenced by the injury to Anderson. Olise and Eze both started for the first time this season, with ward starting at centre back. With Clyne going off with quick a serious looking injury, Andersen should come back in for him with Ward going for right back.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Crystal Palace GW10 Predicted Formation
- 4-3-3
Crystal Palace GW10 Predicted lineup:
Guaita
Ward – Guehi – Andersen – Mitchell
Eze – Olise – Doucoure
Ayew – Edouard – Zaha
Everton
Everton picked up their second win on the bounce. With their starting 11 looking more and more cohesive with every game that goes by, I’d expect no changes for the clash with Man United in GW11 aside from Gordon coming back in after missing the Southampton match due to illness.
As far as injuries are concerned, Paterson remains out so Coleman should continue to fill in. CalvertLewin is also back in contention, but his lack of match fitness will probably see this match come too soon for him
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Everton GW10 Predicted formation
- 4-3-2-1
Everton GW10 Predicted lineup
Pickford
Coleman- Tarkowski – Coady – Mykolenko
Onana – Iwobi – Gueye
McNeil – Gordon
Maupay
Fulham
Marco Silva made a few changes to the side. Kurzawa made his first start of the season at left-back, as did Mbabu on the other side of the defence. Kurzawa came off injured in the second half so Diop may come back in.
More worrying for FPL managers was the injury suffered by Mitrovic. The fact that Mitrovic was a doubt to start the game with a foot injury which was the reason for him going off against Newcastle could mean that he was taken off as a precaution. Marco Silva wasn’t particularly helpful in his press conference, stating tt he was “doing work outside but still a doubt. I’m going to take that as Silva playing his cards close to his chest and Mitrovic should be fine to start.Palhinha should also come back in after returning from suspension.
Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)
Fulham GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Fulham GW10 Predicted lineup:
Leno
Mbabu -Tosin – Ream – Diop
Palhinha – H Reed
Willian – Andreas – Reid
Mitrovic
Leeds United
The headline news for Leeds was that of Kristensen returning from injury, along with Liam Cooper receiving his first start of the season at the expense of Llorente. The sending off to Sinisterra means that the front 4 will be shuffled about a bit. In all likelihood, Rodrigo will take Sinisterra’s place on the wing with Bamford playing up top.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
Leeds United GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Leeds United GW10 Predicted lineup:
Meslier
Kristensen – Cooper – Koch – Struijk
Adams-Roca
Rodrigo- Aaronson – Harrison
Bamford
Leicester City
Leicester made a single change from the side which was trounced by Tottenham, the Vardy coming in for Daka who was recovering from a bit of an illness. With Vardy being off the pace and Daka coming off the bench to score, I’d expect the latter to come back in for Bournemouth. Ndidi has also picked up a hamstring injury which will keep him out for a while so Soumare will fill in in all likelihood.Considering how complete the performance otherwise “, the rest of the team should remain the same.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Leicester City GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Leicester City GW10 Predicted lineup:
Ward
Justin – Faes – Evans – Castagne
Tielemans – Soumare – Dewsbury Hall
Maddison – Daka- Barnes
Leicester City injury/PC update(06/10/22)
Nigeria international Ndidi is expected to miss ‘a few weeks’ with a hamstring strain, with Senegal midfielder Mendy suffering an issue with his knee in training.
“His maturity, on and off the pitch, has developed, that’s what happens with growth. He’s a very respected voice within the squad, and one for the younger players who have seen him come through. They have a big respect for him.”
Brendan Rodgers on James Maddison’s role in the squad
Liverpool
Rather surprisingly, Elliott dropped out of the side for Henderson in spite of the latter’s poor performances thus far this season. With Liverpool once more being overran in midfield, I’d expect Elliott to come back in. Firmino also kept his place over Nunez and after yet another goal, he should stay in the side.
On the injury front, Andy Robertson is available for selection so should come back in.
Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)
Liverpool GW10 Predicted formation
- 4-3-3
Liverpool GW10 Predicted lineup:
Allison
Alexander Arnold – Van Dijk – Matip – Robertson
Elliott – Fabinho – Thiago
Salah – Firmino – Diaz
Manchester City
The main news from an FPL perspective was that De Bruyne was named on the bench in midweek, and Haaland only played 45 minutes so both should be starting. Elswhere, Walker will be out for a while so Gomez may once again fill in for him.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
Manchester City GW10 Predicted formation
- 4-3-3
Manchester City GW10 Predicted lineup:
Ederson
Gomez – Dias -Akanji – Cancelo
De Bruyne- Rodri – B.Silva
Foden– Haaland– Grealish
Manchester United
The demolition by their local rivals has brought about a number of talking points, particularly that of Casemiro’s continued exclusion from the starting 11. After the performance, McTominay put in, that change may finally come.
Martial should also come back in following his brace, with Sancho possibly being the one to drop out.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)
Manchester United GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Manchester United GW10 Predicted lineup:
De Gea
Dalot – Martinez – Lindelof – Malacia
Eriksen – Casemiro
Anthony – Bruno – Rashford
Martial
Newcastle United
Joelinton missed his first match of the season as a precaution following an injury he’d picked up but he should come back in against Brentford. Howe confirmed that Isak was recovering and it shouldn’t be long before we see him again and Saint Maximin should be fit enough to feature in the squad. That would suggest he won’t be ready to start.
Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)
Newcastle United GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Newcastle United GW10 Predicted lineup:
Pope
Trippier – Botman – Schar – Burn
Willock – Bruno Guimares – Joelinton
Almiron – Wilson, Fraser
Nottingham Forest
Steve Cooper continues to be incredibly difficult to predict. On this occasion, he opted to select a back 4 and to drop GibbsWhite into midfield. Lingard also came back in but he failed to impress, as did the entire team in fairness.
After not starting a single game so far, Emmanuel Dennis may finally start his first match of the season. Awoniyi may be the one to miss out based on how wasteful he was in front of goal against Leicester.
Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)
Nottingham Forest GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Nottingham Forest GW10 Predicted lineup
Henderson
Williams – Cook – McKenna – Lodi
O’Brien – Gibbs White – Mangala
Lingard – Johnson – Dennis
Southampton
Hassenhuttl made a whole host of changes on the weekend, maybe out of desperation more than anything else. Of those, the most effective was youngster Juan Larios at left back who came in for Perraud. I can see him staying in the 11, along with Maitland-Niles who also made his first league start.
Last week’s success rate: 6/11 (We predicted 6 starters correctly last week)
Southampton GW10 Predicted formation
- 4-2-3-1
Southampton GW10 Predicted lineup:
Bazunu
Walker-Peters – Bella-Kotchap – Salisu- Juan Larios
Maitland Niles – Ward Prowse
Stuart Armstrong – Aribo – Adam Armstrong
Che Adams
Southampton injury/PC update(06/10/22)
Long-term absentees: Tino Livramento and Romeo Lavia.
“The team news, as I said, we’ve had a few players that have not trained the whole week,” admitted the boss. “We had some issues with Arma and Juan with small injuries but they should be available for the weekend.
“One or two players have been out with a little bit of illness but they have also been back on the pitch today so the group, so far, is together like it was.”
Ralph Hasenhüttl
Tottenham
The big news for Tottenham is that Emerson Royal, a mainstay for them this season, will be suspended for the next three matches after being sent off against Arsenal. Matt Doherty should come into the side. Kulusevski may also return after missing a few games due to injury.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)
Spurs GW10 Predicted formation:
- 3-4-3
Spurs GW10 Predicted lineup:
Lloris
Romero – Dier – Lenglet- Bentancur -Hojbjerg – Perisic
Kulusevski – Kane – Son
West Ham
David Moyes opted to make a couple of changes to his 11, one of which was Dawson coming back in for Coufal who has put in a string of sub par performances. With West Ham keeping their first clean sheet of the season, I’d expect the back 4 to stay the same. Cornet also came in to the side and impressed but he picked up a knock so will miss out against Fulham
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
West Ham GW10 Predicted Formation
- 4-2-3-1
West Ham GW10 Predicted lineup:
Fabianski
Kehrer – Zouma – Dawson – Cresswell
Rice – Soucek – Paqueta
Bowen -Scamacca – Cornet
Wolves
Wolves problems got even worse on the weekend. Not only did they lose 2-0, Pedro Neto also went off with injury. he’ll be missing for GW10. and for an extended period after that. Diego Costa, who made his debut from the bench, should come in. Neves will also serve a suspention after picking up 5 yellow cards
Following the shortage at centre back, Jonny and Neves came into a back three with Semedo and AitNouri playing as wing-backs. With Lage now gone, Toti Gomez could come back in with Wolves reverting to a back 4.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
Wolves GW10 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Wolves GW10 Predicted lineup:
Sa
Jonny – Kilman – Toti – AitNouri – Nunes – Moutinho Hwang
Guedes – Costa – Podence
