FPL GW9 Scout Picks
FPL GW9 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper
Liverpool haven’t had a great start to the season defensively with just 2 clean sheets from 6 games, but the potential return of Matip should improve things. Alisson is also capable of getting save and bonus points even if Liverpool miss a clean sheet.

FPL GW9 Scout Picks- Defenders
Cancelo despite a slightly tough fixture vs Manchester United is the first name among defenders. Cancelo has 6 returns from 7 games- 4 clean sheets, 1 goal, 1 assist. He also has 7 Bonus points in this run which makes him the second highest scoring defender in the game with 42 points.
Reece James should be a must own pick from GW9 onwards. Despite playing just 5 games, James is joint top for Big chances created(2), 2nd best for Expected Assists(1.40) among Defenders this season. Manchester United(H) is the only Top 6 fixture Chelsea have till GW14.
Trippier has returned in 5/7 games so far this season. Newcastle have been strong defensively this season and have a relatively easy game in GW9 vs Fulham. Trippier on corners and set pieces increases his attacking potential as well as his Bonus Points potential.

FPL GW9 Scout Picks- Midfielders
Salah is back in the mix after a Blank fixture in GW8. He is up against a Brighton side who are with a new manager in his first game. You don’t often get a 35% owned Salah against a Non-Top 6 side at Anfield and its time to chase the upside with this pick! Salah also showed glimpses of his form with 2 goals for Egypt in the International break.
Maddison up against Forest is too good a pick to ignore considering the goof fixtures he has after that also. Bonus is that he comes in as a Differential pick at just 7.5% ownership. The 25-year old attacking midfielder has 3 goals and 1 assist in 6 games while attempting 20 shots. Forest have the worst xGC in the league and Maddison could haul big. Martinelli has not put a foot wrong this season with 3 goals, 1 assist this season and had risen in price from 6.0 to 6.5. He should fancy his chances in GW9 against Spurs in the North London Derby which is usually a high scoring fixture.
Harrison is up against a Villa side at home who are without their regular full backs Cash and Digne who are injured. Harrison is second for successful crosses for Midfielders less than 6.5 million. With Bamford back, Villa full backs injured, Harrison has good potential for GW9.

FPL GW9 Scout Picks- Forwards
Haaland is a no-brainer considering the form he is in as he has returned in all of his 9 games(7 PL, 2 UCL) in his City career so far. He also takes up the arm band as he tops almost all the metrics like Expected Goals, Big chances in the league.
Mitrovic has 6 goals from 7 games so far and the most shots in the league. Mitrovic(8) is only behind Haaland(14) for Big Chances this season. Even if Newcastle is a slightly tough fixture, Mitrovic has proved he can score against big teams by already scoring against big team like Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs this season.
Solanke, The FPL Twitter Favourite boy completes the squad coming in as a ultra-differential pick at just 0.8% ownership. His upcoming fixtures from GW9- BRE(H), LEI(H), FUL(A), SOU(H) makes him a good budget option till World Cup.
