Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal Team Analysis
- Offensively, 39% of their chances are created down the middle through Jesus, then 31% from the right, and 30% from the left, showing an even split between the work by Martinelli and Saka.
- Arsenal Cross more from the left at a 52% rate as opposed to 48% from the right.
- The creative outlet is from the left, as shown by Saka’s five assists, and the directness is from the right, as demonstrated by Martinelli’s three goals.
- Defensively, Arsenal struggle defending the left flank as they allow the most crosses and chances from that flank.
- Key Battle: TOT 4th best-ranked attack against Arsenal’s 2nd best-ranked defense in a derby that has produced an average of 2.9 goals in the last ten matches.
Tottenham Hotspur Team Analysis
- Offensively, 40% of their chances are created down the middle through Kane and Son cutting in, then 28% from the right, and 32% from the left, showing the work that Perisic and Son do.
- Spurs Cross more from the right at a 51% rate as opposed to 49% from the left.
- Spurs need to attack Arsenal’s left flank as that is their biggest weakness in an otherwise stout defensive unit
- Defensively, Spurs struggle defending the middle as they allow the most chances down the Center of the pitch.
- Key Battle: Spurs’ patience in the counterattack as Conte will gladly let Arsenal have the ball until it is time to strike.
Players To Target in FPL GW9 from the Arsenal vs Spurs Fixture (Ranked):
- Harry Kane TOT £11.4: 4.8 Predicted Points
- Heung-Min Son £11.7: 4.7 Predicted Points
- Bukayo Saka ARS £7.8: 4.1 Predicted Points
- Gabriel Jesus £8.0: 4.0 Predicted Points
- Gabrielle Martinelli £6.6: 4.1 Predicted Points

Leicester City vs. Nottingham Forest

Leicester City Team Analysis
- Offensively, 45% of their chances are created down the middle, mostly through Maddison KDH and Tielemans, then 29% from the right and 26% from the left.
- Leicester City Cross more from the right at a 57% rate as opposed to 43% from the left.
- Leicester will need to attack the middle of the Forest defense as that is where they allow the most chances.
- Defensively, Leicester struggle with the flanks as they concede equally as many chances from the right flank as from the left flank.
- Key Battle: The two worst defenses in the league face in what can be a track meet and decided by which team defends the LEAST bad.
Nottingham Forest Team Analysis
- Offensively, 36% of their chances are created down the middle, then 30% from the right, and 34% from the left.
- Forest Cross more from the right at a 51% rate as opposed to 49% from the left.
- NFO will need to get down the flanks with their wingbacks as Leicester struggle to defend both flanks.
- Defensively, NFO struggles to contain the middle of the defense as they have been carved there the most, which bodes well for Maddison and whoever the starting striker is (Daka, Vardy, Iheanacho).
- Key Battle: Lordi and N.Williams need to get up the pitch and filter balls into the box as this are how you exploit the Leicester defense.
Players To Target in FPL GW9 from the Leicester vs Forest Fixture (Ranked):
- James Maddison LEI £7.9: 5.4 Predicted Points
- Harvey Barnes LEI £6.9: 4.6 Predicted Points
- James Justin LEI £4.3: 4.6 Predicted Points
- Brennan Johnson NFO £5.9: 4.1 Predicted Points
- Morgan Gibbs-White NFO £5.5: 2.8 Predicted Points

Manchester City vs. Manchester United

Manchester City Team Analysis
- Offensively, 40% of their chances are created down the right, mainly through Foden and KDB/ Cancelo overlapping runs, then 28% from the Center, and 33% from the left.
- Manchester City Cross more from the left at a 51% rate as opposed to 49% from the right.
- Manchester City will need to attack the left of the United defense as this is the biggest area of weakness for United.
- Defensively, Manchester City needs to control the middle and the right, given that is where they concede the most chances.
- Key Battle: Foden/Silva on the right against the left flank of United. This is where City create most of their chances against where United concedes most of theirs.
Manchester United Team Analysis
- Offensively, 45% of their chances are created down the right mostly, then 38% from the Center, and only 17% from the left flank.
- Manchester United Cross more from the right at a 57% rate as opposed to 43% from the left.
- Manchester United will need to the middle of the City defense as that is where they are the most vulnerable; this can bode well with a player like Rashford making those cuts inside behind the defense.
- Defensively, Manchester United needs to control the left flank as that is an area in which teams have attacked United.
- Key Battle: Varane/Martinez vs. Haaland. You cannot stop the Norwegian, but United needs to contain him to have any shot at this game.

- Erling Haaland MCI £12.0: 7.9 Predicted Points
- Kevin De Bruyne MCI £12.3: 6.9 Predicted Points
- Phil Foden MCI £8.0: 5.7 Predicted Points
- Joao Cancelo MCI £7.2: 5.6 Predicted Points
- Bernardo Silva MCI £7.0: 4.6 Predicted Points
