FPL GW32 Sunday Fixtures Player Stats

Stats from FFScout

Starting with the massive top-of-the-table clash at the Etihad, stat’s sometimes don’t fully capture a performance and I think that was the case with Kevin De Bruyne. He was exceptional. He had 2 shots, 1 from inside the box, created 2 chances including 1 big chance for an xGI of 0.48.

Gabriel Jesus scored and spurned a quality opening where he should’ve centered for an easier finish. He had 4 shots, all from inside the box including 1 big chance and created 1 chance for an xG of 0.69 and xGI of 0.85.

Raheem Sterling had 1 shot, a big chance taken inside the box with an xG of 0.41 and created 1 chance.

Joao Cancelo was at his marauding best, especially in the first half. He had 1 shot, taken inside the box and created 2 chances including 1 big chance for an xGI of 0.30.

Mahrez came on as a sub and had a great chance late on. He had 2 shots, both taken from outside the box for an xG of 0.28.

Diogo Jota, as is usually the case when he sees minutes on the pitch, had 2 shots from inside the box, both big chances, for a huge xG of 0.77.

Salah had just 1 shot, taken from inside the box but created 3 chances including 2 big chances for an xGI of 0.50.

Trent Alexander-Arnold created 1 chance, a ‘big chance’ for an xA of 0.46.

Sadio Mane rounded up the threat from Liverpool’s front 3 with 1 shot, a big chance from inside the box and created 1 chance for an xG of 0.32 and xGI of 0.37.

Brentford convincingly beat a West Ham side with some probably residual fatigue from their European game midweek.

Mbeumo managed a whopping 7 shots, all from inside the box including 1 big chance and also created 1 big chance for an xGI of 1.15.

Toney joined the party with 3 shots, all from inside the box including 1 big chance and created 5 chances for an xGI of 1.

West Ham had an off day with Declan Rice‘s 2 shots, 1 from inside the box, for an xG of 0.24 being the only stats-based silver lining.

Maddison had 3 shots, all from outside the box and created 3 chances for an xGI of 0.52 but zero big chance involvement.

Budget option Dewsbury-Hall had 2 shots, both from inside the box and created 1 chance for an xGI of 0.42.

Lookman also had 2 shots from inside the box and posted a decent xG of 0.50.

The highlight for Crystal Palace was Wilfried Zaha who’s penalty (worth 0.76 xG) and then rebound account for a big chunk of his expected data. He had 5 shots, all from inside the box including the aforementioned 2 ‘big chances’ for an xG of 1.23 and created 2 chances for a total xGI of 1.42.

Teemu Pukki remains underrated and may well come into the picture if Norwich continue to show some fight with an upcoming Double Gameweek and good stats to boot in a season where forwards have underwhelmed. He had 7 shots against Burnley, 5 from inside the box including 1 big chance, created 3 chances including 1 big chance for a huge xGI of 1.36 on the day.

For Burnley, Max Cornet had 3 shots, 2 from inside the box including a big chance and created 2 chances for an xG of 0.75 and xGI of 0.87.

Jay Rordiguez was bright, with 3 shots, all from inside the box and 1 chance created giving him an xG of 0.43 and xGI of 0.46.
