In this FPL GW15 blog, we take a look at the popular player comparisons, Dennis vs King, Wilson vs Toney, B Silva vs Maddison

• Dennis has been more explosive
• Huge over-performance on his returns 12 GI vs 3.36 xGI
• In outrageous form but these numbers don’t seem to be sustainable
• King has had almost 3x the big chances than Dennis with fewer minutes played
• Dennis is currently not a part of the Nigerian national squad but there is a very slight chance that he might be called for AFCON
• King is on penalties

VERDICT: King over Dennis even if it costs 0.3m extra!

• NEW’s next 5 FDR is 3rd worst among all teams
• Next game is one of the biggest for them, if not the biggest
• Toney is the only player from BRE who has played all 1260 mins possible; fitness is top notch which couldn’t be said for Wilson
• Stats for both are close enough if one considers Wilson’s playing mins
• One of the big concerns, apart from the upcoming fixtures, for me is the points table
• NEW have already dug a deep deep hole for themselves & considering their season FDR (6th), they will be facing top half of the teams mostly going forward

VERDICT: Hold on to Toney if you own him. Could keep Wilson for the next game vs BUR but long term, its gotta be Toney

• 50% of Maddison’s FPL points have been attained in the last 2 GWs
• Both have consistently been in the squad. However, B.Silva is a much more nailed on prospect in spite of playing for Pep
• Pep this season has been way less experimental than previous seasons w.r.t rotating his players
• LEI has a crucial Europa league game next week. Maddison might be used for the same. Having said that, he has only played 188 mins out of a possible 450.
• B. Silva, on other hand, seems like he hasn’t taken a breather this season across competitions. He has played 367/450 mins in CL & 1117/1260 mins in PL (he missed GW1 completely)
• Even if B.Silva gets rested for a game, he is clearly has Pep’s trust in him and fixtures on his side

VERDICT: Bernardo Silva will be more consistent than Maddison across the next 5 or 6 GWs. Maddison can be looked at to target the next 2 games though.
