UCL Fantasy MD5 Fixtures To Target

Dynamo Kyiv vs Bayern Munich

Despite being not in great form Bayern should easily get past this fixture. Having lost the last 2 league games the men in red will look to turn things around here where they have had a perfect start so far winning 4/4

Robert Lewandowski, 9.2M FWD

UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview Robert Lewandowski Bayern Munich
MD4: 18 points

A no-brainer and essential pick in my UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview, Lewandowski with the form he is in. 13 goals in the last 10 matches and only blanking in 2 of them tells you how important he is.

Leroy Sane 9.2M MID

UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview Leroy Sane Bayern Munich
MD4: 10 points

A poor last match and not up to the mark but his recent form has been really good. He’s back to his best and playing in that left inside role he could thrive once again. At 51 points he’s the highest-scoring player in the game right now.

Leon Goretzka 7.7M MID

UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview Leon Goretzka Bayern Munich
20 Ball Recoveries in 3 UCL games

Further in my UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview, at 7.7m a punt on Goretzka could pay off in the absence of Joshua Kimmich. 20 ball recoveries in the 3 games so far and his runs in the box could get you an attacking return.

If not him then any defender could be the way to go for a clean sheet.

Nianzou at 4.0m could potentially start this fixture with Sule out and Upamecano suspended.

Inter Milan vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Despite the lack of clean sheets recently the Inter full-backs could be a good buy for this game. Along with them the strikers, Martinez and Dzeko could be great buys as inter has scored 15 goals in the last 7 matches (all comps) and are well set to score 2+ this time too according to the odds.

Liverpool – Porto

Even though Porto are playing well this season and is top of the league right now, Liverpool has been on fire this season and are expected to win this game. Playing at home they are absolutely relentless and this should be another of those fixtures where they win comfortably.

Mohammed Salah – 10.7M MID

UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview Mohammed Salah Liverpool
37 points in 4 UCL games

This should not even be brought up as the Egyptian king has been putting in some spectacular performances and is in red hot form. Despite no goals in the last 2 league games he’s got 2 assists and has an eye for goal always. A captaincy option too but a player to own for sure.

Diogo Jota – 8M FWD

Diogo Jota Liverpool MD5
MD4: 8 points

In the absence of Firmino, the Portuguese should start again and is expected to play in the front 3. He scored a goal against Atletico and picked up the mom award racking up 8 points. Playing for a side with one of the highest xG in the league this season Jota could be a great pick at his price of 8m.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6.4M DEF

Trent Alexander-Arnold MD5
MD4: 14 points

A clean sheet at home along with some attacking returns could easily be the case for Trent once again this week after his performance against Atletico ( cs + 2 assists ). One of the most attacking backs in the game he offers great potential.

Sheriff Vs Real Madrid

Karim Benzema – 10.2M FWD

Karim Benzema-MD5
MD4: 13 points

He has been putting in some great performances this season and this is another fixture where you can back him to get some returns. With 4 goals and 2 MOM awards in the last 3 fixtures, he’s a serious captaincy candidate on the second day.

Vinicius Junior – 8.3M FWD

Vinicius Junior MD5
MD4: 10 points

Playing in the front 3 Vinicius is having a great season so far. Scored recently this weekend and got 2 goals and 3 assists in the last 2 UCL fixtures he’s one of the best budget options to consider in my UCL Fantasy MD5 Preview and offers great value at his price of 8.3m

Eder Militao – 5.5M DEF

Eder Militao MD5
MD4: 6 points

Along with clean sheets, Militao is getting a lot of ball recovery points every week. (34 in 4 apps). Real should keep a cs this game and along with his BR points, he could score well and is currently the 3rd highest point scorer for his team.

Differentials for MD5

Defenders for UCL Fantasy MD5:

Nianzou – 4M

At just 4m a starting Bayern defender could be a gem for this fixture. Sule and Upamecano are out for this game and Nianzou is all set to start. Those on a chip or looking at just this week could transfer him in and spread the funds

N. Mazraoui – 4.9M

Great attacking potential for the wing-back along with a good chance to keep a cs is the perfect combo for a defender. Owned by just 5% currently, he’s one to watch out for sure.

Midfielders for UCL Fantasy MD5:

Sadio Mane – 10.2M

An expensive pick but those with a chip left could consider the Liverpool winger. Playing well right now and a double up with Salah could pay heavy dividends against a Porto side where Liverpool smashed 5 goals in the away fixture.

Riyad Mahrez – 9.2M

A risky pick with the PSG fixture and city playing on the second day but his attacking potential is unreal. With him being on penalties and some free kicks too the Algerian could be a good pick and has scored 4 goals in the UCL this season.

Forwards to consider for UCL Fantasy MD5:

Antony – 7.6M

1.5m cheaper than his teammate Haller who is heavily owned and has is just 10 points ahead of him. Third highest points scorer among forwards right now and he could continue his great form into this fixture after getting a goal and 2 assists against Dortmund in the last 2.

Duvan Zapata – 9.7M

A bit expensive for his price but Zapata has scored in each of the last 5 fixtures (all comps) and is on a hot streak currently. The fixture against young boys could be a joy for him and his owners as he is just sitting at 1% ownership.
