The year end is always hectic in the English premier league with three gameweeks coming one after the other in quick succession! GW 21 is the final of the sequence and the next GW is only on the 11^th of January. Teams would have been stretched by now and players would’ve been a little tired. This period is always a nightmare for FPL managers to guess which player makes the starting 11 and who doesn’t. Let us look into the five FPL GW 21 captain picks

FPL GW 21 Forwards Captain options:

Jamie Vardy vs Newcastle United (A):

Vardy has been on hot form this season and is leading the golden boot standings by a margin! He’s been a neat scoring streak and until the Liverpool game, scored 12 and assisted 4 in 10 games! We know he can be deadly in front of the goal and he missed the West Ham game due to the birth of his child but is confirmed to play against Newcastle. Newcastle were the opponents against whom Leicester’s performance made them into a force to be reckoned. Harry Kane vs Southampton (H)

Jose Mourinho’s men have been scraping victories and narrowly avoided defeat against Norwich but they are still scoring goals. The absence of Son seems to have affected them but their talisman in Harry Kane is still delivering. Southampton hasn’t been the best defensively and Jose’s men will look to make use of that to the fullest. Kane has scored 11 goals already and has scored in the last 2 and he’ll look to continue on that streak.

Sergio Aguero vs Everton (H)

Pep Guardiola would’ve never imagined his season to go this way after what they’ve done the last 2 years. They’re 3^rd in the table and are miles off Liverpool! Aguero has come back to full fitness and will be looking to score past Carlo Ancelotti’s men. Kevin De Bruyne has been in hot form too but Aguero has more goalscoring chances. He’s missed almost 6 games but still has scored 10 goals and this shows why this man is deadly and can never be written off.

Marcus Rashford vs Arsenal (A)

Arsenal have had a really bad start to the season and their season seems to get worse. Their defense has fallen apart and their mid hasn’t improved either.  Rashford has looked very good for United this season scoring 12 and assisted 5 and Ole’s men would like to keep the run going. With Pogba’s potential presence, they might just try to get a win past Arsenal and Rashford will be relied upon

Sadio Mane vs Sheffield United (H)

Sheffield is really good in defense but with the way Liverpool attack is playing right now, nothing can stop them. Mane has been in great goalscoring form and with Salah fluffing his chances, mane looks to have more probability at giving points returns. Mane has an impressive 10 goals and 8 assists and will look to add more to that tally making him ao obvious FPL GW 21 captain pick.
