It has been a maddening GW 20 which saw a lot players rested leading the FPL managers to turn their heads to their benchwarmers. As the second half of the season is starting this new year, it could be your chance to have a fresh start, by racking up the green arrows and jumping up in ranks 💪. We have picked out 5 players to watch out for who could help you climb up in your leagues. So check out our FPL GW 21 tips for who could you haul points this week and get them in your team.

FPL GW 21 FORWARDS:

Sergio Agüero – 11.7 MIL TSB: 10.7% VS: EVERTON

After almost a month on the sidelines with an injury, City’s all time top scorer is back and he’s back with a bang.

The defending champions have been struggling this season as their defensive woes have been affecting their performances consistently.

With their main man back at the front, the players seem to have a certain boost in terms of their performance.

The City forward scored a goal on his return from injury against Sheffield and was subbed off after 81 minutes.

So the forward could feature against a rejuvenated Everton who have been great lately. With a very less TSB % Sergio Agüero could also be a FPL GW 21 captain pick for the week.

TROY DEENEY – 6.2 MIL TSB: 0.8% VS: WOLVES

After a devastating start to the 2019/20 season, it looks like Watford are starting to turn their form.

Since the start of the season Watford have sacked 2 managers and are on their 3rd manager for the rest of the season.

The appointment of Nigel Pearson seemed to be a strange one but is seeming to work and has had a record of 2-W 1-D 1-L.

Watford have climbed from the 20th position where they were present for a long time to 19th position.

The key player in this resurgence has been the Watford forward Troy Deeney. In the last 3 matches he has managed to score 3 goals, with a brace against Aston Villa.

The problem for Watford this season has been scoring goals, with the least number of goals in league (15 goals). Out of those 15 goals, 6 have been scored in the last 4 games.

Deeney’s Watford are coming up against a good side in Wolves who have been in amazing form lately. But with Watford fighting for their survival and Deeney’s form in the recent games, it could be a different story.

FPL GW 21 MIDFIELDERS

Adama Traoré – 5.5 MIL TSB: 13.9% VS: WATFORD

The high flying wolves seemed to have found a new talisman this season in Adama Traoré.

After a disappointing start to the 2019/20 season, wolves have picked up their form and are placed 7th in the table, 5 points off top 4.

The player who has been a revelation for wolves this season has been Adama Traoré. He has managed to score 4 goals and provide 4 assists this season and has been immense lately.

He is coming up against Watford who are placed at 19th position in the league. But Watford have picked up some form and a match at Vicarage road is always a tough test, especially now. Since Adama has been in great form and was rested along with a lot of his first team mates he could be the key for Wolves in this fixture.

FELIPE ANDERSON – 6.6 MIL TSB: 2.9% VS: BOURNEMOUTH

The start of this 2019/20 season for West Ham United was really great, but has downhill since then. They have a record of 2-W 7-L in the last 9 matches causing them to be placed at 17th position with just 1 point of the relegation zone.

Due to the poor and inconsistent performances this season Manuel Pellegrini has been sacked and replaced by former Everton and West Ham manager David Moyes.

With a point to prove, David Moyes has given an impressive first press conference as the new West Ham manager.

Their Star man Felipe Anderson has been one of the let downs of the season with very little number impressive performances.

He has managed to produce just 4 assists and has scored 0 goals this season 😱😨, compared to his 9 goals and 4 assists last season.

FPL GW 21 Defenders

Joe Gomez – 5.1 MIL TSB: 1.8% VS- SHEFFIELD UNITED

The 2019 year is coming to an end and it is by far the best year for the Liverpool fans. Especially this season having played 19 games and have managed a record of 18-W and 1-D.

One of the cheap, dependable and overlooked defenders in FPL has been Joe Gomez. With Both Lovren and Matip injured Joe Gomez has been a regular starter for Liverpool. He has been tipped to FPL GW 21 Defender for this week.

With 5 starts this season Joe Gomez has managed to keep 4 cleansheets and Liverpool have managed to keep 6 cleansheets in total this season.

The England international is coming up against Sheffield United who have been impressive this season. They are currently placed 8th in the league and are just 6 points off top 4. But Anfield has been a fortress for the past few years and it will be difficult match for both sides.
