Players to watch out ahead of GW 2:

Goal Keepers :

1. Jordan Pickford(5.5) :

The toffees defense looked like really good with Keane and Mina looking stable at the middle of the defense. The England number one keeper did keep a comfortable cleansheet Selhurst Park last week. With no games against top 6 in the next five weeks, Jordan Pickford seems to be a very good choice if you are looking for a replacement for Allison .

2. Tom Heaton(4.5) :

Aston Villa showed very good promise of what they are capable of last game only to be blown away by Spurs in the final 30 minutes of the game. Tom Heaton’s experience in PL should come in handy for stay in the Premier League. Aston Villa plays their next four games with fixture difficulty rating of two (which means they have easy fixtures), Tom Heaton seems to be a good bet.

Defenders :

1.Lewis Dunk (4.5) :

The Brighton defender could be set to record more attacking returns against the beleaguered Hammers’ defense.

New formation :

Under Potter, Brighton have adopted a back three system and Dunk has been deployed in the middle of the three and is encouraged to bring out the ball from the back. The Englishman provided arguably the assist of the weekend to set up the Seagulls’ third goal against Watford.

The defender chalked up 41 points in the BPS which was only bettered by Erik Pieters(43) among defenders.

2. Lucas Digne (6.0) :

Everton put in a disappointing performance against Palace last time out, but their defense looked fairly comfortable and Marco Silva’s men would look to get their first win this week when they take on his former employer, Watford.

Excellent defensive record :

The Toffees have kept 9 clean sheets in their last 12 premier league games, only ManCity have a better record in that period. The French full back put in a man of the match performance the last time these two sides met at Goodison. Digne scored a spectacular free kick in the dying moments of the game to grab a point for Everton.

3. Virgil Van Dijk (6.5) :

The Liverpool defender will look to continue his tremendous form when he locks horns against his former club Southampton on Saturday.

Goal threat :

After waiting for so long to score his first premier league goal for Liverpool, the Dutchman made his mark in the second half of last season, scoring 4 times. This season he has already got off the mark against Norwich and he very nearly scored in the Super Cup too in midweek.

Midfielders :

1.Gylfi Sigurdson (8.0) :

The Icelander will look to help Everton register their first win of the season when they take on the Hornets.

Shooting boots on :

In what was a dull game at Selhurst Park last weekend, Sigurdson looked the most likely person to come up with a goal in the game. The midfielder registered 4 shots on goal and also recorded 1 key pass in the game. The Everton number 10 also had one of his goal bound efforts cleared off the line.

2.Nicolas Pepe(9.5) :

Pepe put on an impressive cameo against Newcastle at St.James’ Park last Sunday.

Home debut heroics :

After getting his first minutes last week, Pepe is all set for his first start in Arsenal colors at the Emirates against Burnley. The winger will look to showcase his repertoire of skills in front of his home supporters on Saturday.

3.Anthony Martial(7.6) :

Martial is the third most transferred in player after Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford.

A potential differntial :

Despite his eye-catching performance against Chelsea last weekend , the Frenchman is owned by just 9.9% of the FPL managers. A number which is far less when compared to fellow star Marcus Rashford (Forward) who is owned by 23.4%.

Considering the fact Martial is playing as a center forward and is also a million cheaper than Rashford, the new Manchester United number 9 could well be a more viable option from the red devils.

Forwards :

1. Marcus Rashford(8.6) :

New season, new beginnings for Manchester United. The English wonder boy has repaid the faith Ole showed on him by scoring and also playing an integral part in the 4-0 win vs Chelsea. Rashord is the No.1 striker at the club right now and he will want to cement that place by adding more to his tally.

2.Callum Wilson(8.0) :

The FPL holders from Bournenouth endured a silent week in GW1 with the trio of Wilson, King, Fraser not among the big points. But we would suggest you to hold them for atleast one for week as they are up against the promoted Aston Villa.

3. Teemu Pukki(6.6) :

Scoring in Anfield against the European Champions is not by any teams a easy task. Pukki was on the score sheet in their 4-1 loss vs Liverpool and seemed to always in the game trying to break the Liverpool line of defense. Norwich with their attacking and positive style of play are bound to score goals in most of the games irrespective of the result and Pukki is sure to be one among them.
