After what felt like an eternity, we’re finally back to FPL action for FPL Gameweek 25! While the last match of the Double Gameweek (DGW) was played just a few hours ago, the long 10-day gap between fixtures made it seem like a distant memory. The break may have given managers some much-needed breathing room, but now it’s straight back into the chaos, with another DGW on the horizon. Liverpool assets are in high demand as they enjoy the rare privilege of doubling in back-to-back gameweeks, making them prime candidates for the Triple Captain chip. The flurry of Triple Captain activations and reliance on Assistant Managers last week was just the beginning—expect more of the same in the coming days.
Beyond the immediate DGW, the fixture schedule for the remainder of the season is beginning to take shape. The outcomes of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup have helped clarify the blanks and doubles ahead, with BGW29, BGW34, DGW33, and DGW36 now coming into focus. With managers now able to roll as many as five transfers, strategic planning is more crucial than ever. Whether you’re looking to navigate the upcoming blanks or capitalize on the doubles, the decisions made in the next few weeks could define your season. Buckle up—it’s going to be a thrilling ride!
So, let’s start with our BUY-HOLD-SELL article for this GW, sponsored by …. Well, nobody. We are poor, but you can help here if you want 😊

FPL GW25 Transfer Tips: Two Players to BUY
PS – I am not mentioning Salah, as he is non-negotiable at this point. I assume he is already in your team.
Justin Kluivert (£5.9m) – MID, Bournemouth – 22.0% TSB

As often happens in DGWs, players with just one fixture tend to be overlooked. However, that’s not the case with Kluivert, who, despite Bournemouth’s single match, is the most transferred-in player this week—and for good reason.
Since GW21, amongst MIDs, Kluivert is ranked:
- 3rd for Big Chances
- 3rd for xGI
- 2nd for xG
- 2nd for BPS
- 2nd for Bonus
- 1st for Goals Scored
- 1st for Goal Involvements
- 1st for FPL points
Let the last line sink in. He has outscored THE MO SALAH at his peak, despite playing one fewer match..
And his GW25 opponent? Southampton, the worst defensive team in the league, ranking dead last (20th) for:
- Shots in Box Conceded
- Shots on Target Conceded
- Shots from Set Pieces Conceded
- Big Chances Conceded
- NPxGC
- xGC
- xCS
- Goals Conceded
Even beyond GW25, Bournemouth’s fixtures look extremely enticing, making Kluivert a long-term asset rather than just a short-term punt.

His combination of form, fixture, and underlying stats makes him an outstanding pick this week and a must-buy for FPL managers looking for an edge.

Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m) – MID, Brentford – 35.1 % TSB

The tough run of fixtures for Brentford is over where they faced Man City, Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Spurs. Now they have a wonderful series of matches in the short term.

Both West Ham and Leicester are prime targets for attacking returns as they are ranked in the bottom 5 for:
- Shots Conceded
- Shots in the Box Conceded
- Shots on Target Conceded
- Big Chances Conceded
- Goals Conceded
- xGC
- xCS
Mbeumo himself has been a standout performer in midfield. Amongst MIDs, the Cameroonian star is ranked:
- 2nd for Goals Scored
- 3rd for xGI
- 3rd for Goal Involvements
- 3rd for BPS
- 3rd for Bonus Points
- 3rd for xPts
- 3rd for FPL points scored
His ability to convert chances, create opportunities, and secure bonus points makes him an excellent transfer target this week. With Brentford facing vulnerable defenses, Mbeumo offers an ideal mix of form, fixtures, and underlying stats, making him a highly recommended pick for FPL managers looking for a midfield option with strong upside.

Cole Palmer (£11.2m) – MID, Chelsea – 63.8% TSB

How quickly we forget. Back in GW6, Palmer delivered a jaw-dropping 25-point haul against Brighton. A lot has changed since then, but as fate would have it, he’s facing them once again.
And Brighton? They’re in dreadful form, winning just two of their last 12 league games—making Palmer an even more tempting option this week.
Yet, surprisingly, he’s among the Top 3 most transferred-out midfielders.
A look at his stats tells a different story. Among midfielders, Palmer is ranked:
- 1st for Key Passes
- 1st for Big Chances Created
- 1st for xA
- 2nd for Shots on Target
- 2nd for Big Chances
- 2nd for xGI
- 2nd for xG
- 2nd for Goal Involvements
- 2nd for Goals Scored
- 2nd for BPS
- 2nd for Bonus Points
- 2nd for xPts
- 2nd for FPL points
Palmer has the form, the fixtures, and the stats to keep delivering. Selling him now? That could be a decision you regret.

Alexander Isak (£9.5m) – FWD, Newcastle – 59.3%

Speaking of goldfish memory, the most transferred-out forward this week is Isak. Yes, the same Isak who ranks among forwards as:
- 1st for Goal Involvements
- 2nd for xPts
- 2nd for FPL points
- 2nd for BPS
- 2nd for Bonus Points
- 2nd for Shots on Target
- 2nd for Key Passes
- 2nd for Big Chances Created
- 2nd for xGI
- 2nd for xG
- 2nd for Goals Scored
- 2nd for xA
- 2nd for Assists
And who’s he up against? Manchester City.
315114. No, that’s not my bank account number—that’s the sequence of goals Man City have conceded in their last six games. 15 goals shipped.
Since GW10, City rank bottom six for NPxGC, xGC, and xCS.
So before rushing to offload him, ask yourself—does it really make sense to sell an in-form striker just before he faces a defense leaking goals? Isak has the form, the stats, and now the perfect fixture to deliver. Don’t be surprised if he makes sellers regret it—just like Wood did last GW.

Robert Sánchez (£4.7m) – GKP, Chelsea – 9.6% TSB

Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Filip Jorgensen has taken over as Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper, displacing Robert Sanchez as the club looks to regain momentum in the Premier League.
Sanchez, 27, has struggled this season, with several high-profile mistakes—including one in last month’s 3-1 loss to Manchester City—proving costly. Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s upcoming clash with Brighton, Maresca explained his decision, emphasizing the need to give Sanchez time to reset both mentally and physically.
“The intention isn’t to rotate goalkeepers game by game,” Maresca clarified. “At this moment, Filip is our No. 1. He started in our last Premier League win against West Ham, while Robert played in the FA Cup. But right now, Filip is our main option.”
Given the current situation, moving Sanchez on could be a logical step.

Nicolas Jackson (£7.8m) – FWD, Chelsea – 9.9% TSB

Enzo Maresca has provided an update on Nicolas Jackson’s injury, revealing that the striker will be sidelined until at least April—and potentially even longer. The initial hope was that the issue wasn’t too serious, but a recent scan confirmed it’s more significant than first thought.
“We were aware it was a muscular problem, but we weren’t sure of the severity,” Maresca explained. “Initially, his response suggested it wasn’t too bad, but unfortunately, the scan showed otherwise. He’ll be out for around six to eight weeks.”
With Jackson ruled out for a considerable spell, Maresca now faces a selection dilemma in attack. Likewise, FPL managers who have him in their squads will need to start planning for an alternative up front.
