Welcome to our FPL GW37 Scout Picks blog. Our fantastic scout @FPLDaggaFC (Do follow him on Twitter) is back with his Scout picks for Gameweek 37, as always our Scout picks are backed up by eye test, stats, and analysis.

Last season our scout picks won 21.5 vs 15.5 against the Official FPL Scout picks. This season the score is 18.5-17.5 heading into GW37 with AllAboutFPL scout having the lead!

FPL GW37 Scout Picks

FPL GW37 Scout Picks – Goalkeeper

Petrovic takes the gloves in our GW37 Scout Team- Up against Forest(A), Brighton(A). Petrovic has 3 clean sheets from the last 5 games getting 25 FPL Points in the scores- 3rd Highest among all the Goal Keepers during this time.

Brighton have just scored 4 goals from the last 8 games- Ranking 20th among all the teams in the league. There are good clean sheets chances for Chelsea in GW37 with games vs Forest and Brighton.

Chelsea’s opponents in GW37- Rank for Goals scored since GW28:

• Forest- 17th
• Brighton- 20th

FPL GW37 Scout Picks – Defenders

Gvardiol is the Top Defender Pick for DGW37 with games vs Fulham(A) and Tottenham(A). Manchester City have kept 2 clean sheets from the last 3 matches. But the highlight has been Gvardiol with 2 goals, 2 assists from the last 4 matches. Gvardiol is the Highest scoring Defender in the game with 39 points during this time and 3rd Highest scoring player across positions.

He has been bombing down the left almost playing like a left winger in recent weeks.

Pedro Porro is the next pick with 2 home games vs Burnley, Man City. Even though the clean sheet chances look really slim for Spurs, Porro is always capable of getting an attacking return. Porro is Top for xGI(8.6), Top for Shots(47) among Defenders this season.

Dan Burn rounds up the defense with fixtures vs Brighton and Man United. Schar is injured, Trippier is just coming from injury and Burn is the most safe pick from Newcastle at the moment. Brighton have just scored 3 goals from the last 7 matches – Lowest among all the teams in the league. There is good clean sheet potential in that home game.

FPL GW37 Scout Picks – Midfielders

Cole Palmer is the Top Midfield pick for yet another week and is a no-brainer at this point. He did slightly disappoint his owners with just a 8 point haul in GW36 considering Chelsea won 5-0. Since his full debut in GW7, Palmer has the most goals(21), Most Goal Involvements(32), Most Bonus Points(29), Most FPL Points(220) in the league. In fact, Palmer has the Most Digit hauls in the league this season.

Players with Most Double Digit Hauls this season:

• Palmer- 10
• Saka- 9
• Salah- 9
• Odegaard- 8
• Rodri- 8
• Son- 8

With Richarlison likely ruled out, Son is expected to start as a striker in both the DGW games vs Burnley and Manchester City. Even though Spurs have lost their last 3 games, Son has scored in 2 off these games vs Arsenal and Liverpool and is also on penalties.

Matchup alert:

• Son has a good record vs both Burnley and Man City. 9 goal involvements- 6 goals, 3 assists in 12 games vs Burnley. 9 goal involvements- 5 goals, 4 assists in 15 games vs Man City.
• Burnley have not kept a clean sheet in the league since GW19
• City do not have a great record vs Spurs away from home.

Foden has been having a extra-ordinary season with 16 goals, 8 assists from 32 appearances this season. Foden and Man City are on the title charge and must win games. So they would expect Foden to step up again. City have 2 away games vs Spurs and Fulham and his away form has been great with 6 goals from his last 4 away matches.

Gordon rounds up the midfield having 1 goal, 5 assists from the last 4 matches. Up against Brighton(H), Man United(A)- Gordon is a great pick. Manchester United are poor defensively and are ranked 18th for xGC and 19th for Big Chances conceded since GW30. The other fixture is vs Brighton at Home and Gordon is arguably one of the Best players at Home this season.

• Gordon- 22
• Watkins- 19
• Palmer- 19
• Haaland- 19
• Salah- 17

Gordon also has a good record vs Brighton with 2 goals in his last 3 games vs Brighton.

FPL GW37 Scout Picks – Forwards

Haaland has returned to form with 4 goals and a massive 21 point haul. Haaland has returned in 4 out of his last 5 matches. Haaland also takes the arm-band in the Scout team as he tops the GW37 Captaincy Metrics as well.

Haaland has a good record vs Fulham as well with 5 goals, 1 assist from 3 games which includes a hattrick and assist in the previous encounter. Spurs are also in poor form having conceded 13 goals from the last 4 matches.

Isak rounds up the GW37 Scout team who has been in sensational form since GW27. Isak has 10 goals, 2 assist from the last 9 matches. He is also Top for xG(8.70) and Joint Top for Big Chances(14) during this time.

Jackson rounds up the Scout team with DGW fixtures vs Forest and Brighton. Over the last 5 matches, Jackson has 4 goals, 3 assists and 40 points averaging 8 points/game. In the last GW vs West Ham, Jackson got a 16 point haul vs West Ham with 2 goals and an assist. He is still owned by only 16.0% managers and can be an excellent differential along with Palmer as Chelsea attack double up if you are looking to catch up ranks.
