FPL GW34 Differential Picks (<10% ownership)
Trent Alexander Arnold vs Fulham(A), Everton(A), £8.4m, TSB: 8.6%
Never thought we will ever be putting Alexander Arnold as a differential pick. But, here we are, ahead of a double Gameweek, stating that TRENT ALEXANDER ARNOLD can be the differential to propel your rank upwards.
Team | Big Chances Conceded |
Luton | 115 |
Sheffield United | 95 |
West Ham | 94 |
Fulham | 93 |
Fulham have the fourth-worst record in the league for big chances conceded so far. Furthermore, no team has conceded more % of chances down the right flank than the West Londoners (28%). We know exactly where Trent Alexander Arnold operates.
Liverpool’s right-back has created more big chances (13) than any other defender, barring Trippier (13) this season. Besides, the Englishman registered a goal and an assist to go along with 3 bonus points in the reverse fixture against Fulham, at Anfield.
Team | Goals Scored |
Sheffield United | 30 |
Everton | 32 |
Burnley | 33 |
Crystal Palace | 37 |
Meanwhile, Everton have scored the second-fewest number of goals so far this season. This record becomes even worse at home as they have scored a paltry 16 goals, fewer than any other team.
Sean Dyche’s men have failed to score in 6 out of their 10 matches against the traditional big six this season, including a blank in each of their last three such matches.
Besides, given the fact that their fixture against Liverpool is sandwiched between the Nottingham Forest and Brentford games, if Calvert-Lewin were to be given a rest (which is likely), it will probably happen against Liverpool, as the other two games are relegation six-pointers. Therefore, Liverpool’s chances of a clean sheet are very high.

Eberechi Eze vs West Ham(H), Newcastle(H), £6.0m, TSB: 5.6%
Crystal Palace produced the standout result of the previous game week as they ran out 1-0 winners at Anfield. Eberechi Eze scored the winning goal in that match as he picked up an xGI of 1.28 in his 10-point haul.
Not only do the Eagles have a great double-game week, they also have a winnable run of fixtures from now up till the end of the season. 4 of their 6 matches are at home. They’ve only lost one home game (Bournemouth) against the non-traditional big six sides this season.
Five of Eze’s seven goals this season have come at Selhurst Park. Three of their last four wins have also come at home, in which Eze contributed to 3 of the goals. Effectively, the stage is set for Eze to deliver again at home in a favourable double GW.

FPL GW34 Ultra Differential Picks (<1% ownership)
Daniel Munoz vs West Ham(H), Newcastle(H), £4.5m, TSB: 0.5%
Crystal Palace kept their first clean sheet since GW26 last time out, at Anfield. Besides, Oliver Glasner’s men have the best pair of fixtures in FPL GW34. Daniel Munoz has registered 1 assist and 2 clean sheets in 11 matches. Not so inspiring, for sure. But he makes a classic case for upside chasing!
Team | Goals conceded | Rank | NPxGA | Rank |
Crystal Palace | 10 | 4th | 9.7 | 7th |
The Eagles have significantly improved defensively since the arrival of the new manager. They are joint fourth in the league for goals conceded since his arrival. This is in spite of the fact that the South Londoners have faced the likes of Spurs, Man City, and Liverpool. In fact 7 of the 10 goals they have given away have come against Spurs and Man City.
There is not much to choose between Mitchell and Munoz. Both of them are priced at £4.5. But what gives the Colombian the edge is his significant outperformance in terms of touches in the box and shots in the box over Mitchell. If we were to bet on one of them to score a goal, it would probably be Munoz.

Ben Brereton Diaz vs Burnley(H), Man Utd(A), £5.0m, TSB: 0.4%
Sheffield United are another one of those that have a great pair of fixtures this week. While on paper, the trip to Old Trafford seems daunting, numbers tell a different story.
Manchester United are in the bottom 3 for shots, shots in the box and NPxGA conceded so far this season. As it would have it, Burnley are in the bottom five in all the three lists. Furthermore, Manchester United are the worst in the league for Expected Clean Sheets (xCS) since GW13. In other words, Sheffield United couldn’t have imagined a better pair of games than this one.
Player | Shots | Shots in the Box | Big Chances | xGI | Points |
Brereton Diaz | 13 | 11 | 6 | 3.5 | 39 |
Since making his debut, Brereton Diaz has registered 4 goals and 1 assist in 8 appearances. In this time, he is top for shots, shots in the box, big chances, and points among Sheffield United players.
Sheffield United with BBD | Sheffield United without BBD
Goals scored/ match | 1.5 | 0.75 |
Sheffield United play significantly better with BBD in the side when compared to without him. Their goals per-match tally in the games he has played is twice as much as without him.

Michael Olise vs West Ham(H), Newcastle(H), £5.6m, TSB: 0.7%
It has been another injury-hit season for Michael Olise. The Frenchman has only had 13 appearances all season, of which 4 have been a sub appearance. In spite of that, he has registered 9 goal involvements (6 G 3 A), to along with 14 bonus points- the most among Crystal Palace players.
Crystal Palace with Olise and Eze | Crystal Palace Without Eze and Olise
Goals Scored / Game | 1.8 | 1.04 |
Points Won / Game | 1.8 | 0.89 |
Eze and Olise have started 5 games together so far this season. The Eagles have won 3 out of those 5 games, and have scored 9 goals. Bear in mind, in one of the games which they lost, Eze was subbed off early due to injury.
Six of Olise’s nine attacking returns have come at home this season. Four of the Eagles’ next six matches are at Selhurst Park. Olise will be looking to make more merry at home.
The former QPR man is in the top 6 of xGI per 90 among midfielders in the league so far this season. Interestingly, Ben Brereton Diaz makes the list as well! Both of them are really good options going into FPL GW34.
Quick Tip: If you are having to choose between Olise and Eze to bring in to your teams, we would suggest going with Eze because of xMins risk involved with the former. However, if you’re on a FH, it would be best to attack it by going with both of them in the team.
