Welcome to FPL PAZ’s FPL GW34 Transfer Targets and Watchlist, where I highlight the THREE best transfer targets in each position for the upcoming Gameweeks. FPL GW34 Transfer Targets

Daniel Munoz CRY £4.5

Projected Points GW34-38: 19.5

With an unexpected clean sheet in GW33, Crystal Palace defenders showed what they are capable of going into their double GW in GW34. Munoz is great as he flies up the pitch and puts himself in great positions for those coveted attacking returns. Palace defense is better for managers who are on an FH in GW34 or who are dead-ending into a GW35 Wildcard, as Palace fixtures for defenders do turn for the worse after GW35.

Palace have 2 home games in DGW34 and their underlying defense numbers at home look really good.

With a 0.16 xGI per 90 minutes, Munoz also has the underlying stats that can lead to massive returns in any given GW. With great fixtures in GW34, managers who are in need of a differential attacking defender should look at Munoz.

Eberechi Eze CRY £6.0

Projected Points GW34-38: 33.6

With a goal in GW33, the Eze bandwagon is up and running ahead of their DGW34 against the porous defenses of West Ham and Newcastle. Moving forward, Eze is one of the best assets in GW34 and should be on everyone’s radar. Aside from having the best attacking fixtures in the DGW, Eze also has a 0.62 xGI, which is great considering his price and likely being on penalties for Palace. As a long-term hold, Eze is also great with the 2^nd easiest fixtures until the end of the season. With great fixtures, great underlying stats, and great for managers with or without a free hit, Eze is firmly one of the players at the top of my GW34 watchlist.

Matheus Cunha WOL £5.6

Projected Points GW34-38: 29.3

Matheus Cunha was finally fit enough to receive his first start since GW23, and he did not disappoint with a massive 12-pointer thanks to his 2 goals in GW33. Cunha was always a player to watch if his fitness held up, and it looks like he has made a full recovery, making him a great option for GW34. Cunha should be on penalties for Wolves and has a good xGI of 0.49 xGI per 90 minutes, which gives you good value for his price.

Cunha does face Arsenal as part of his DGW34, but he also faces a less-than-stout defense in Bournemouth. With 2 home games, on penalties, and with secured minutes, managers looking for a DGW striker should look at Cunha as one of their options.

Update: This article was written before Wolves Press Conference and the latest news is that Cunha is ruled out for the first game of DGW34 vs Arsenal.
