FH34 clearly outperformed FH29, with the average score of DGW34 surpassing that of BGW29 by more than six times.
Although the upcoming DGW is a mini one, with only Spurs and Chelsea doubling this week, several teams playing only once have favorable fixtures, similar to GW34.
So, let’s start with our BUY-HOLD-SELL article for this GW, sponsored by …. Well, nobody. We are poor, but you can help here if you want 😊

FPL Gameweek 35 Transfer Tips: Two Players to BUY
“Magpie Maestros”
Anthony Gordon (£6.2m) – MID, Newcastle – 16.3% TSB
Alexander Isak (£8.1m) – FWD, Newcastle – 30.7% TSB
In the upcoming match, Newcastle will face Sheffield United, who currently sits in 20th place. Sheffield United’s defense ranks:-
- 20th for Clean Sheets
- 20th for Goals Conceded
- 20th for Shots on Target Conceded
- 19th for Big Chances Conceded
- 19th for NPxGC
- 19th for xCS
- 19th for xG Conceded
- 19th for Shots in Box Conceded
Gordon has consistently been one of the top scorers in home matches this season, only failing to score once at home.
Meanwhile, Isak has been the 2nd highest-scoring forward in the game since GW27.
Given these statistics, it’s clear that at least one of these players, preferably both if possible, deserves serious consideration when selecting your team lineup.

Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m) – MID, Man Utd – 15.1% TSB
With the focus primarily on DGW players, the Portuguese midfield maestro from Manchester United seems to be flying under the radar. Over the last three gameweeks, the United captain has dominated the stats. The Manchester United captain is ranked:
- 1st for Goals
- 1st for Goal Involvements.
- 1st for xGI
- 1st for BPS
- 1st for Bonus
- 1st for FPL points
In GW35, Bruno faces Burnley at home. Burnley’s defense ranks in the bottom five for nearly every defensive metric::-
- Shots Conceded
- Shots in Box Conceded
- Shots on Target Conceded
- NPxG Conceded
- xG Conceded
- xCS
- Goals Conceded
- Clean Sheets
Moreover, Bruno scored 10 points in the reverse fixture against Burnley in GW6. Additionally, Manchester United has two fixtures in DGW37.
Considering these factors, I highly recommend acquiring Bruno Fernandes.

FPL Gameweek 35 Transfer Tips: Two Players to HOLD
Cole Palmer (£6.2m) – MID, Chelsea – 47.6% TSB
Cole Palmer is the 5th most sold out midfielder currently. However, the highest scoring midfielder of the game having a DGW against two sides who have kept only 3 Clean Sheets across 20 games since GW24 – having Palmer should be an absolute priority.
- Palmer has returned 12 points against Spurs in the reverse fixture, showcasing his potential for high returns.
- Additionally, Aston Villa ranks in the Bottom Five for Goals Conceded since GW27, further enhancing Palmer’s prospects.
Moreover, Palmer is back in training after recovering from the injury that kept him out of the Arsenal game, and he is fresh from a well-deserved break.
In light of these factors, I strongly recommend acquiring Palmer this week. He also presents a compelling option for captaincy.

Son Heung-min (£9.8m) – MID, Spurs – 28.3% TSB
Since GW32, Son has experienced a price fall on three occasions. However, managers who succumbed to the selling frenzy may find themselves regretting their decisions, as the Spurs talisman is set to feature in two matches this week.
- In the first fixture, he faces Arsenal in the North London Derby, a match in which Son returned an impressive 14 points in the reverse fixture.
- Following that, he plays another London derby against Chelsea, who currently sits 17th for Goals Conceded in the last 8 GWs, having conceded 5 goals in their recent match.
Given these circumstances, I would advise you to retain Son for this GW.

FPL Gameweek 35 Transfer Tips: Two Players to SELL
Destiny Udogie (£5.0m) – DEF, Spurs – 8.0% TSB
Starting the SELL list with a player from Spurs may seem unusual, especially considering their two fixtures this week. However, Destiny Udogie will be sidelined for the rest of the 2023–2024 Premier League season following surgery. The Italian international shared images of himself on a hospital bed on Instagram, accompanied by a message to Spurs supporters.
As a result, it is recommended to part ways with Udogie.

Mohamed Salah (£13.6m) – MID, Liverpool – 36.8% TSB
As difficult as it may be to consider, it appears prudent to part ways with Salah at this juncture. Since his return from injury in GW28, the Egyptian has scored only 22 points. To provide context, 79 players have surpassed Salah in terms of points during this period.
With Liverpool essentially out of the title race, it seems sensible to free up the significant funds invested in Salah and redistribute them elsewhere to capitalize on the remaining weeks of the season.
