Welcome to FPL PAZ’s(Twitter, Do follow him) Transfer Targets and Watchlist, where I highlight the THREE best transfer targets in each position for FPL GW27 and beyond. The goal is to give managers a watchlist for both the immediate Gameweek and future Gameweeks. All picks are analyzed with stats, fixtures, and current form. LET’S GET INTO IT:

FPL GW27 Transfer Targets

Marcos Senesi BOU £4.5

Projected Points GW27-32: 25.8

With a great pair of fixtures, including a mouthwatering DGW in GW28 against Luton and Sheffield, Bournemouth defenders need to be at the forefront of our watchlists. Senesi is the default defender of choice as he is nailed and has produced 5 attacking this season, giving him that upside we are looking for in defenders.

Over the next six GWs, Bournemouth have the easiest defensive fixtures, raising the ceiling of their assets. The only downside with Senesi is that he is on 8 yellow cards, which is 2 away from suspension, so managers not willing to take that risk can go for Zabarnyi (£4.5). With good fixtures, a good attacking threat, and flexibility for whichever chip strategy you deploy, Bournemouth defenders such as Senesi are worth looking into.

Son Heung-Min TOT £9.6

FPL GW27 Transfer Targets ~ Heung Min Son

Projected Points GW27-32: 40.1

One of the best FPL assets is back on the menu as his good fixtures, coupled with a guaranteed fixture in blank GW29, make him a great buy and player on our watchlist this GW. Son has been outstanding this season with 18 attacking returns in only 21 starts with 6 double-digit hauls. Son is also playing for a Spurs attack, who are ranked as one of the best in the league under Ange. Lastly, Spurs have the 3^rd easiest fixtures up until GW32, which raises Son’s already massive ceiling. With good fixtures, including a guaranteed fixture in GW29, nailed for a great attack, and on penalties, Son is a player firmly on my watchlist.

Carlton Morris LUT £5.1

FPL GW27 Transfer Targets ~ Carlton Morris

Projected Points GW27-32: 26

With the injuries to Solanke and the template forwards such as Haaland, Watkins, and even Toney being popular, I wanted to provide a different option to have on our watchlist. Enter Carlton Morris, who has a great DGW in GW28 and a guaranteed fixture in blank GW29. Morris has been outstanding for Luton this season with 13 attacking returns and putting up decent underlying stats with a 0.44 xGI per 90 minutes.

FPL Gameweek 29 Fixtures — Luton will be the only team to double in GW28 and have a fixture in GW29

Luton and Morris also have the 2^nd easiest fixtures for attackers up until GW32, which raises Morris’s ceiling. A decision that many managers will face is in GW28 whether to sell Haaland for a player like Morris, as that would give Morris managers 4 fixtures over Haaland’s two against Liverpool and Arsenal. It is a risk worth balancing, especially for those managers with a wildcard in hand. Again, this is something different in the forward section, but at this stage of the season, being different can be the difference between winning a league or hitting a rank goal.
