FA Cup impact on FPL BGW29

🗓️Confirmed fixtures in FPL BGW29

• Burnley vs Brentford
• Fulham vs Spurs
• West Ham vs Aston Villa
• Luton Town vs Nottingham Forest

❌Confirmed blanks in FPL BGW29

• Brighton vs Man City
• Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United
• Brighton vs Man City
• Arsenal vs Chelsea
• Everton vs Liverpool
• Man United vs Sheffield United

Gameweek 29 Blanks should all move to the midweek in either Gameweek 34 or Gameweek 37. Gameweek 34 fixtures will be postponed if either side reaches the FA Cup Semi Finals and those postponements should mostly move to the midweek in either GW34 or GW37.

Chelsea already have two pending fixtures to be rescheduled(GW26 vs Spurs and GW29 vs Arsenal) and If Chelsea reach the FA Cup Semi Finals then one of their postponements would have to move to a midweek outside of Gameweeks 34 or 37. The most likely scenario would be Chelsea vs Brighton moving to Gameweek 35/36

The FA Cup quarter-finals will happen during the weekend when the GW29 fixtures are played.

FA Cup & FPL Timeline

• Between GW26 & GW27: FA Cup R5 fixtures, R6 draw & BGW29 confirmed fixtures
• During GW29: FA Cup R6(QFs)
• Before GW30: Semi-Final draw
• During GW34: FA Cup Semis

When will the potential postponed games be played?

• The postponed games generally are played in DGW34 and DGW37 which are generally the traditional double gameweeks when the blanks due to FA Cup games are played.
