FPL GW16 Injury News & Press Conference Updates

Spurs

  • On Son’s injury/in pain update- “Nothing new really. The last update I got late last night was that he was a bit sore last night after the game. We’ll have to see today”
  • Sarr & Richarlison who came as subs in GW15 “reported okay” after the game
  • Other team news- “A couple more knocks”. ” There’s nothing apart from Sonny, that looks too significant “
  • Dier, Maddison, Bentancur, Van de Ven, Solomon, and Perisic are all still out

Liverpool

  • Alisson- Trained normal since Thursday. “Look good”. ” Don’t know if good enough for tomorrow “. ” Have to check with coaches, medical dept, and with Alisson”
  • Mac Allister is likely ruled out. “Doesn’t look good”. ” Don’t expect him to be ready for tomorrow, don’t know about Thursday or Sunday or after that”
  • Matip is out of the season with an ACL injury
  • Robbo, Thiago, Jota still out

Arsenal FPL GW16 Injury News 

  • On Team News- “I think everybody is going to be okay”
  • Tomiyasu, Vieira, Partey, Timber, and ESR- All ruled out due to long-term injuries

Newcastle United

  • Lascelles injury- “Don’t think it’s a serious one”. ” Think it’s a dead leg “. ” Fingers crossed he’ll be ok(for GW16) but I don’t know at this moment “
  • On potential injury returns- “A lot of players who are injured at the moment were working today at training ground. “We are hopeful we can get some support”
  • Dubravka- “Think he got a couple of knocks in the game. I don’t know of any permanent problem with his back”

Man City FPL GW16 Injury News 

  • Rodri & Grealish- Back from suspension
  • No update on Doku
  • KDB is still out but “starting to run on the pitch”. “Maybe Club WC will be too early for him, but I don’t know”

West Ham

  • Moyes- “No team news to give out as we are reporting in early”
  • Areola update(yesterday)- “Not quite sure yet if he’s ready. He’s got a little bit of ligament damage in his wrist. We thought he’ll be ready for tonight(GW15). We’ll find out”
  • Antonio expected to be still out

Chelsea

  • Gallagher back
  • Nkunku- Ruled out, “assessing day by day”
  • Lavia, Gusto, Chilwell, Chalobah, Fofana, Chukwu, Ugochukwu still out
  • Madueke out from injury list

Man United FPL GW16 Injury News 

  • Amad back in training 
  • Victor Lindelof is unavailable
  • Varane is available 
  • Ten Hag on Rashford: He can’t play every game. He’s not in this moment in the form he was last year but I am sure he will get there
  •  Ten Hag on McTominay: “Actually from the first moment I saw, he has a very good smell to make it in the box and is a very good finisher, that’s not a surprise when the team, when we bring it and the way we want to play and get the balls to them he will finish.”

Wolves

  • Jose Sa “100% fit”
  • Ait Nouri “trained little bit today, so we’ll assess him again in the morning but probably likely won’t be available tomorrow(GW16)”
  • Neto is also close but NFO(H) too soon. “Working with fitness coach & plan is probably to do around one week(with him) & then join us in training”
  • Jonny & Hodge still out
  • Rashford missed training today through illness and is a doubt for tomorrow.

Brighton FPL GW16 Injury News 

  • Dunk & Dahoud back from suspension
  • Webster out without any timeframe for return
  • Fati out for three months
  • Lallana available 
  • Estupinan mentioned to a fan that he’ll return “Maybe in 2 weeks”

Luton Town

  • Kabore is ineligible to play vs Man City
  • Burke is “very, very close”, Andersen is “progressing well & is very close to full training”
  •  Nakamba & Lokonga have trained fully this week, Edwards mindful of Lokonga’s match fitness 
  •  Edwards hopeful that Lockyer could return against Man City 

Sheffield United 

  • Late call to be made on Baldock’s inclusion in the squad 
  • McBurnie & Norwood suspended
  • There are a couple of others with bumps and bruises – Late call to be made on their involvement according to Chris Wilder

Brentford

  • Norgaard back
  • Mbeumo ruled for GW16 and “will be out for weeks”
  • Jensen- “Decision to be made in next 24 hours”
  • Schade, Ajer, Collins, Hickey, Dasilva, Henry still out
  • On penalty taker- “You will find out on Saturday”

Aston Villa

  • No injury updates but Emery mentioned that he will leave it until tomorrow to decide and for the players to tell him how they are “physically and mentally”
  • Buendia, Mings long-term absentees

Crystal Palace

  • Mitchell is out for GW16. “that doesn’t mean he won’t be considered for the next game”
  • Eze out. “certainly nowhere near tomorrow” “walking around with a boot”
  • Olise workload will be managed after back from a lengthy layoff. “We’ll talk to Sports science people, Olise tomorrow & then we’ll decide if he can start”
  • Doucoure, Rak Sakyi, Holding still out

Everton

  • On Garner who missed GW15- “I hope(will be available). It’s a sickness bug & you never know”
  • Onana- “Possibly in the squad”
  • Coleman- “We will check on Seamus tomorrow”. ” Has a minor situation “
  • Pickford- “got a niggly thing on his knee. ” Will find out more tomorrow “. ” Don’t think it any too serious”

Bournemouth

  • The same set for players as in GW15 are available
  • H.Traore, Aarons, Fredericks, Tyler Adams, Kelly, Scott out. Kelly- “still not close”, Traore- “Continues to be ill” 
  • Aarons- Likely to be first one back Back in individual training. “Going to be difficult next weekend, but inline to recover”

Fulham

  • Traore & Rodrigo- “Much closer”. The decision will be taken tomorrow
  • Diop out

Nottingham Forest

  • Boly missed GW15 due to an injury. No further updates
  • Murilo, Wood fit
  • Awoniyi out

Burnley

  • Beyer back
  • Koleosho out. “Might be back towards the end of the season”
  • Foster out, but “making good progress”
  • Cork, Cullen unavailable
